A few things I would like to point out.First it seems like the sun hurts and itches Fex whereas Quinn just feels week under it. Maybe that is because Fex is either a higher ranking vampire or as a result of him being born a vampire. Second,it seems like Vampires of a certain rank or heritage can eat food or at least they can drink wine. But Fex did seem curious about eating the food as well which makes me think he could eat it without being too disgusted by it,unlike Quinn who finds normal food bland. Then again it could just be Fex's naivety but I dont know why his Grandpa would not bring that up. Third, it did not seem like Fex understood that humans are a type of food source for vampires. He did not act the same way Quinn does now, with a sort of indifference to human death. Again, I dont know why his Grandpa would not bring that up in his stories unless Human's really are just that terrifying. This is an entirely different topic: Based on the hatred and fear that vampires have towards humans, it seems like they are not capable of defeating the humans. To me this seems to mean that Quinn's system and its ability to increase his physical stats to insane numbers(eventually) is unique to him, the same goes for the physical stats. I am sure an average vampire could easily slaughter a bunch of humans but I dont think the top powers of the vampires are a match for the top powers of humanity. Despite the fact that having a huge physical superiority over humans along with their ability to manipulate blood, should give vampires a huge advantage over humans who can only have 1 ability. The only exception to that rule is the Blade family and since the name Blade reminds me of the marvel character who hunts Vampires, maybe that is what the Blade family is so highly regarded for. Taking out vampires, who without their family, would be able to deal serious damage to humanities top powers.
