I'm just here enjoying the story, hoping Noah keeps a bit of his humanity, and spares Athena. I made a previous comment, way back, about how I agreed with the manipulation. However, that was prior to knowing she was manipulated and brainwashed as a child soldier from a young age. Sure, she knew what she was doing when she destroyed the lost world, but did she ever have a choice? If she ever tried to leave, would the Celestials let go of someone with a Noble Fate? No, they wouldn't, they'd kill her off, to make sure she didn't cause trouble later on. So I really hope he doesn't abandon her. I'm sympathizing with her, I feel for her now. Surely, if Noah still has an ounce of humanity left inside him, he won't leave her to the wolves like he'd planned, right? He felt guilt when he walked out the door after controlling her! Somewhere in there is the Noah from earlier in the story, prior to becoming apathetic! I obviously won't stop reading, nor be unhappy with the author, but I'll be highly disappointed with Noah as a character if he abandons her. Because you can't tell me he has no attachment to her after what they experienced together! You can't tell me there's nothing! Barbatos killed billions just because she was crazy, and enjoyed it! Athena killed billions after being brainwashed all her life! Nobody can tell me it's beneath Noah to spare her!
