This only helped him find it faster. If someone had lived on this planet their entire life, they would have found the mana eventually too, likely before 15 years, the age of his body.
Except he has not killed any innocents. The only people he has killed so far were bandits, one of them by accident because they tried to rob him and, rather idiotically, stood in front of a sled at full speed down a mountain. The bandits he purposefully killed only appeared innocent, but they were guilty of theft. Yes it is not as grievous a crime as murder, but he still warned them several times. And we also should not forget the only reason they didn't attack him and instead tried to play mind games was because of his strength. If he was weaker they would have killed him. They have likely already killed others who were weaker than Shang. Quite frankly, if you are going take up a profession as dangerous and dishonest as thievery or banditry, you should be prepared to be killed in self-defense.
Daos: Vitality (Lesser), Alacrity (Lesser), Fortification (Lesser), Destiny (Grand), Vastness (Grand), Devouring (Grand), Slaughter (Grand), Conquest (Cosmic), Primordial (Peak Cosmic). Laws: Earth, Space, Light, Fate, Life Nomological Edict of Battle Mode: While channeling this Edict, your speed and strength are increased to ridiculous levels. The more enemies that oppose you, the greater the boosts. Boosts Increase with Comprehension/Assimilation. You also obtain [Battle Precognition], which lets you constantly see what your enemies are going to do a few seconds into the future. Clarity increases with Comprehension/Assimilation. You devour a portion of the soul of each enemy you defeat, rejuvenating you, increasing your Soul Strength, and giving you Initial Comprehension in all Laws, Daos, and Minor Edicts they hold.
Why not just decrease the skill point cost by increasing the mana cost to ridiculoys proportions. He could make a supreme skill, but make it cost so much mana not even a galaxy could fund it, making it a normally useless skill without his trait, and therefore cheap in skill points.
