This is definitely a very good story and has a lot of promise.....the characters are given a human-like personality and there is a also bit of author’s own ideals infused in the story which makes it somewhat original despite being a revenge-against-hero theme.... The author has done a well job in building the world. While the world isn’t shown completely it is consistent with the plot... The grammar in the story is acceptable and the readers don’t have to pull their hair off or get a headache due to the grammar hence you won’t find many problems with the writing..... There are no glaring plot holes and the decisions seem logical to a certain degree.... Now let’s move on to the story....the MC’s personality get’s people hooked the first few chapters and his character doesn’t degrade as the story moves on.The side characters have more personality when compared to majority of the novels. Then we have the revenge parts, they honestly don’t make you feel so bad because the author has done a good job in displaying the hero’s party as villians so you would feel that they deserve the torture the MC inflicts upon them. Of course the novel is not perfect and there are certain things I personally wouldn’t appreciate in the novel. One of which is the relationship development between the MC and the knight. I expected this relationship but it feels too forced. Then another thing which I do not like is the references into other novels and entertainment sources,it kinda pull you off the story and after some time it gets plain annoying but I can’t decrease the rating because the author already stated that it’s a parody. I cannot blame the author for the references because I knew about it before getting into this novel but this is the reason I am dropping this book... Anyway I can confidently say that this is one of the best or the best revenge type books and I recommend people who are reading this review to give it a try and you may find it to your liking.
It started off quite good, with an amazing concept (parody lol), but the cliches were too much, too frequent, too forced. Maybe remove the cliches and tweak the story to have some of the characters have more depth, and I sense greatness in it. I just feel ... wasted potential in it. It felt repetitive and annoying in the end, due to the cliches, but this could be something good.
Wut can I say. The character design r shit. The MC is a beta male who pokes his nose into literally everything and talks like a 14y.o. Trying to act cool with beta glasses to top it off. Basically ur typical Japanese type bitch mc and the novel doesn't describe anything and even now I still don't know if the mc is good looking or shit looking cause it only says black hair, glasses, brown eyes
Having a self-righteous man in this novel makes a good enough hero in his persona àlthough in his self-righteousness he almost resembled the attitude being too good to be true when it comes to women. I think he lacks a little manly instinct when treating them as being passionate towards him. Anyway as a leader of the story as a whole his character is overwhelming enough in order to stand on his ground although the novel is shortlived leaving me as among the readers hanging in the balance hoping for more adventures to come in full swing as the story goes....its a good novel though!
Very good story at first but at some point the author starts to refer to a different kind of webnovel. this fact is either negligible due to the quality of the novel, but the more it advances the more there are references to other novels to the point that it becomes heavy. if you're not like me and you don't mind the many references this is a novel for you. You take out the references and i would have keep reading it
