When Zagan was explaining his thoughts on humans, I remember this one line from Castlevania. "What is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets!"

although it came a bit suddenly, I like that he is contemplating about his 'true' self and future action and there is also an experienced demon explaining his own experience. All this integrated nicely in one chapter, great job!

I'm loving all the introspection that's happening. It lets us know what the MC wants and foreshadows the key points in the story for the future. Thanks for the chapter, see ya tomorrow!

This description of demons is what I have always thought them to be in other works.thats also why I like the demon race over other race they are true to their nature

I like how your shaping a core personality for Li, a foundation for his actions and choices in the future. Nobody likes an MC with an empty head or a glass heart. In most stories, there's always that cool uncle, that mysterious pervy grandpa, that secretive yet hyper granny, even the pets have their quirks. Honestly, their personalities are more memorable than those of the MC in those books. So thank you for the effort your putting into this.

Probably I felt it wrong but I think the author foreshadowed that the lust demoness is the old mans wife who went missing in a snowstorm.

I felt this chapter. No one has ever seen a demon as a pure being. With this little explanation I have understood, that even though you sell your soul to the devil he always keeps his end of the deal. This really was a great chap thanks author👍
