The story of Claire Monteverde is a deeply personal one. This is actually based on the author's own experiences working for a very demanding boss, turning what could be a tragic tale into something that could give important lessons to readers. I hope, as the author, that I have managed to make this very entertaining.
Sorry for the very late review! Something unexpected comes up, so this review became very late. Anyway, please don't expect something professional from me, I'm not an editor after all. Honestly, I'm a bit jealous at your vocabulary! Can't even believe that we're both Filipino! You've got a nice vocabulary, please keep on writing! It's lighthearted and makes me laugh too!
I like the story. It’s entertaining and it makes me laugh. The story is funny and the storytelling is making me crave for more. The wording is good and it’s easy to cruise through chapters without the need to read few times in order to understand what the author wanted to say. I’m cheering for Claire... I hope she tames Mr. Tan. ❤️
It is a story that is exotic in its own way. It is well written and with mature vibes. Since it’s somehow a story written from the reference of every day’s lives, it’s refreshing and interesting. The frustration of finding a decent job that ended you up in a sweet catastrophe that you did not know is coming in your way. Trust and betrayal, respect and dignity, truth and lies, everything is compelled in altogether. The ways the characters are portrayed are nicely done and love the development. Don’t judge the story based on the first few chapters just yet. It gets you hooked the more you flip through the pages as you dive even deeper into the life story of Claire Monteverde and the unexpected ‘crazy’ boss with histories that will make you wondering nonstop. (I, somehow, have the urge to kickboxing that ‘crazy’ boss. Hahaha)
Firstly, you've a great formation of dialogues which appreciable. Personally I've read many billionaire romance novels so far and only Neilani Alanjandrino (sweetdreamer33 from Wattpad) was my only favourite but I guess I got another. This novel starts off with hilarious moments but eventually will lead you towards romantic ride keeping the tinge of comedy at hand. As I came to know from another review that the author is from Philippines which actually put me in a daze after reading the whole thing in single go, author is blessed with great sense of vocabulary and the ability to present simple things by making them effective with word magic and spice of vocabulary. One can sense through the dialogues that what particular category the character belongs to because the portrayal is done wonderfully. All it screams is 'reality and love' one seeks, although it sounds unrealistic as of course that's how billionaire romance is crafted out. Hopefully author will do a little amendment to the synopsis, that seemed uninteresting and can easily drive away readers, they might mistake it for some cliche fluff thing but I can see you've the narration style preferred by Wattpad billionaire romance. Hopefully it'll be updated soon, because I'm impatient now XD
Exciting & Entertaining This story reminded me of romance television shows I used to binge-watch. The author's choice of words and usage is comprehensible. The story transition is seamless that will keep you turn the page. All in all, I rate it a 4.0. The first chapters made me laugh my heart out. I really suggest Gabriel's undies be auctioned. Hail the mighty crotch!
It's funny, enjoyable, and overall, it's a hell of a read. I like how the two main characters interact, like how their personalities complement each other to create these exciting and funny scenarios. It's not my cup of tea though, as I am a fantasy nerd, but I can tell a good novel apart from a bad one. And this definitely is a good read.
