I get so excited every time I see this book has updated. I think it's my favorite book, honestly. I really love the way the author writes, and I love how colorful and interesting the world and characters are. Everything feels very 3d and real (even the chicken love interest, hah). Personally, I'm not very good with criticism, so I don't have anything good to say other than 🌠distraction🌠, like author mentioned, haha. Anyway, to be honest I think the author should do whatever they like. At this point I'm convinced they could write a story about sentient play dough and I'd be interested. If it's good, it's good, you know? Thanks for the chapter! P.S. Kylan is adorable in that junkyard dog sort of way. I wonder what he's going to do in the future now that he's met Jia, haha.

I ac really like your word choices here like Speak human I don’t know it adds flavor. Which is odd because in translations I usually hate them. If I had to point out a reason it wo be be because over time it has become a key part of your authorial voice.

I keep the Chinese sayings and idioms all the time when I translate, it really adds that unique flavor that localizations miss out on. As an obsessed reader of bl’s in general I would say that your work is one of the best I’v ever read and is even better than some of the Chinese to english translated stories that I have read. And as a British- Chinese person I find it extremely enjoyable when you add the idioms into your work because you somehow make them fit seamlessly into it without making it seem weird in my opinion plus it also lets me know about my Chinese culture a little more when you explain them too so you do you and keep adding those idioms if you want to!!

I love your style! And the idioms and cultural sayings that you use are a part of your jokes! I don't even mind that you have to explain the joke, I just love how punny you are and this series has given me a lot of insight into tropes I otherwise wouldn't recognize. Your writing always makes me laugh and I look forward to your new chapters the most. I realize all writers must grow, but I wouldn't change the style of this series just because of some naysayers.
