First why in gods green Earth does the MC want to join the group of psychopaths who watched as innocent people were ripped apart. The dude who saved him is a moron for telling him not to seek power which is the entire point of cultivation and also how the MC would even get into the first reserved camp in the first place. He is also a moron for telling him not seek revenge from the dude who murdered everyone he knew and loved. The only good thing that came out of these two chapters is that hopefully the MC can get closure by murdering the zombified versions of his loved ones. Plus he can give them proper burials, like they deserve. After doing that hopefully he realizes that this entire system is screwed up and if he wants to thrive in it, he either needs destroy it and remake it. Or say F it and try to start his own thing that does not allow elite warriors to watch as innocent civilians are ripped apart right in front of them.
Ffs read the context, he said that referring to the hypothetical scenario where MC does not put in effort into getting in the first reserve camp and just lazes around.Yes ik I'm years late and you don't care.
Kupkake:He literally said " And if I ever hear anything like seeking revenge or yearning for more power from you, I wont mind beating you till all your teeth fall out." I agree with you about him having to put up with the current status quo in order to gain enough strength, status, and following to attempt to do his own thing. I just hope that he attempts to be better morally than what the current system(at least the one in this area) seems to think is okay.
This very cliche revenger plot would be cooler if the OP “passerby” and the necromancer who just happed to take and interest in the MC at the same time were the same person. It would explain more about that very sloppy setup of: lucky find~ ❤️ —> kill them my minions! —> I’m just going to leave now~
