If you're bored and out of inspiration, what do you do? Of course, read YM oneshots! This book is just a bunch of fluff Yoonmin oneshots, mostly long ones. There would also be a few angsty ones that may or may not have a happy ending. But since I'm more into happy endings, this would probably be a rare for this book. So, if you're up for long and fluff oneshots with a light touch of humor on the side, you should probably check this out. Cover made by the lovely BAEPSAE_KKAEBSONG_4
Yoongi's heart constricted painfully as he watched Namjoon's snail leading the race, now almost past the finish line. It was winning. Scratch that, it really did won as it was now succumbing the finish line with its goo.
Damn shit.
His eyes squinted as he stared at Taehyung's own snail, competing with Hoseok's own.
It was clear. The terrible truth was that Taehyung's and Hoseok's snails were gonna be the second and third.
Yoongi's own, though…
Wow, why did he have to pick a snail that depicted nothing but himself? If only Yoongi knew that this snail had the same attitude as himself, he would've went away and looked for another. But no, Yoongi was too lazy to find even just a piece of sand despite the fact that the whole beach was filled with them. And so, the moment he saw the snail, he picked it up and presented it to his three crazy friends.
Now, as Yoongi wearily stared at his own snail that barely moved since the beginning of the race and was just there, lounging on the starting line, Yoongi decided to rethink all of his life choices.
He was losing, obviously.
And losing meant he would be the one to suffer the out-of-this world ideas of one Kim Taehyung on dares.
That meant Yoongi was no longer safe. His dear life was at stake and no questions needed to be asked for him to know that he'd be scowling darkly in the coming weeks.
He's utterly fucked up.
"I WON!" Namjoon shouted, doing a really weird twerk as he danced around.
Taehyung clapped happily while swaying his butt. The asshole. This snail race was his idea. Of course it was his idea. Yoongi was simply having a peaceful evening in the beach, enjoying the last days of his summer vacation, before Taehyung came dragging him and forcing him to join in their little snail race and find his own snail.
But really, it was Yoongi's fault. He should've known it the moment he agreed with these bunch of idiots to go to the beach. He should've known not to agree. He should've known that it was far safer and saner to stay at home and away from these people, away from Taehyung.
"Yoongi-hyung is the loser!" Hoseok cheerfully announced, joining in with the dance.
Yoongi just squatted there mournfully.
Taehyung smirked. "You know the agreement, hyung. The one who will be in the last place would need to do The Dare."
"Yah, this is not included!" Yoongi tried to defend himself, throwing a dirty look at his snail. "He did not even went past the finish line, so it's not counted as last place. He barely moved! It's considered forfeited. My snail is forfeited."
Taehyung clicked his tongue, making Yoongi feel dread all over his body. "Reasons, hyung, reasons. You still lost."
Namjoon agreed happily as he nodded his head too much. Yoongi thought it would fall off from his head.
"But really, why do you think it didn't move?" Hoseok asked, eyes squinting as he looked at the snail more thoroughly.
"Maybe it's just lazy," Namjoon commented.
Yoongi sighed. "It's sleeping."
Hoseok blinked his eyes. "How sure are you?"
Yoongi blinked at him as well. "Trust me, I know."

"Please hyung!!!" Jungkook begged.
Jimin rolled his eyes as he opened his locker. It was the first day of school and his first class just ended. And of course, Jungkook just had to annoy him.
"Why can't you just ask Jin-hyung instead?" Jimin said as he sighed, getting all the things he'll be needing for the next class.
"He would only nag at me. You know him, hyung."
"Who would nag at you?" Jin's voice suddenly came up from behind the two.
Jimin's and Jungkook's head turned in unison, seeing the eldest standing behind them with crossed arms and one raised eyebrow.
"Hyung!" Jungkook exclaimed, he then pointed at Jimin. "Jiminie-hyung is backstabbing you!"
Jimin's eyes widened at the ungrateful brat. He smacked the younger's head before turning to Jin with wide panicked eyes. "That's not true! He was deliberately forcing me to treat him lunch, then I suggested that he should just ask you instead!"
Jungkook glared at him. "I was not forcing you."
"Okay, stop this now. You still have classes to attend and so do I. You're gonna be late, children," Jin reprimanded as he clicked his tongue. Jimin and Jungkook immediately nodded and went back to picking up their things from their locker and placing it in their bag. They gladly accepted the cookies that Jin had baked for them, nodding carefully at the elder's reminders not to eat those during in class so that they would not get detention from their teacher.
After Jin left, the two walked to their own classes.
As they were passing by two couples along the hallway, Jungkook sighed miserably. "What's wrong?" Jimin asked.
Jungkook side-glanced at him, eyes full of mourning. "I'm just really sad, hyung."
"Why?" the older boy asked with concerned eyes.
"It's just that... I'm so sad because you're so lame. You're already a Junior and you can't even get a single date."
Aish. The brat. To think, he had actually been sincerely worried why Jungkook was sad. He smacked him on the head.
"You little-! I'm not lame. Why do you think many girls scream every time I perform on stage?"
And it's true, many girls would really scream every time Jimin danced or sang, or both, on stage during school festivals and special events. Even now, as they were walking, many girls were glancing their way.
Jungkook and Jimin, and also Jin, were kind of famous in their school, him and Jungkook being members of the school's famous dance troupe and Jin being the school's heartthrob and ballad singer. In fact, Jimin got a few love letters and gifts here and there. Jimin didn't really care that much, though he enjoyed the fact that many people would like and retweet his tweets.
Jungkook's eyebrows raised. "Then why don't you have a girlfriend until now?"
Jimin scowled at him. "I just... I don't know... Maybe I haven't found the right girl yet?"
This made the younger snort. "Maybe you're just lame, hyung."
"Aish, will you shut up, Kookie? You're talking as if you've got any form of love life there, which by the way, you don't," Jimin scoffed, now irritated.
Jungkook only smirked, his smirk so obnoxious it made Jimin want to punch the boy's face.
Tsk. So this was why the damn brat opened up the topic. Jimin knew this face very well. Jungkook's main agenda, aside from annoying Jimin, was to brag about something.
Jimin sighed.
Here it goes.
"Actually," Jungkook started, running his hand through his hair, thinking it looked cool. "Let's just say that I managed to steal a date with Kim Taehyung."
Jimin blinked, then he stopped in his tracks.
Kim Taehyung? His long time crush?!
The younger boy's smirk deepened as he stared at his hyung's hanging jaw.
"B-but... H-how?!"
Jungkook smiled dreamily. "Well, I asked Hoseok-hyung's help, of course. Using my awesome acting skills, I pretended to ask a help from him regarding a dance routine I was planning to suggest for our dance troupe, then I inserted the topic of Taehyung and bam! I got a date!"
Hoseok was their leader in their dance troupe and he was also friends with both Jimin and Jungkook. He was very famous, and everybody knew that he's best friends with Kim Taehyung, the school's cheerleader captain, Kim Namjoon, the campus genius, and Min Yoongi, a scary Senior who was aloof and did nothing but glare at others. Jimin was quite scared of the last one.
Jimin couldn't believe it. After having such a huge crush on Kim Taehyung, his best friend finally manned up.
He was about to congratulate him when Jungkook spoke again. "Still hyung, you haven't gotten a girlfriend yet. LAME!"
He received a hard kick on the shin from Jimin.
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
Jimin's second class had already finished and he was now heading to the cafeteria to have some snacks. His conversation with Jungkook earlier came up to his mind and he scowled. It was not that he was lame, it's just that Jimin hadn't found the right person yet. The little brat (which was not that little at all considering he was taller than Jimin despite the age difference) simply didn't understand.
He was about to turn to the corner when he accidentally bumped into someone, said someone fell on their back because of the impact. Jimin blinked his eyes as he watched the other person's phone went scurrying away, his own things falling as well.
Out of impulse, Jimin went to get the person's phone. It was a sleek black Iphone X with one sticker at the back that looked like the outline of a white headphone. When he was about to hand it to the owner who was now standing up, his eyes went as large as saucers.
Why?
Because one, he actually bumped into a girl.
And two, said girl was so freaking...BEAUTIFUL.
Jimin felt his breath hitch.
He could see the girl's eyes go wide as well as if in panic, then she looked away and seemed to swallow nervously. Jimin hadn't registered any of that though, as he was busy staring at her gorgeous face. Her hair was black, cut just right above her shoulders, perfectly framing her cute face. Her eyes were cat-like, and as she looked down to avoid Jimin's gaze and exposed her tinted eyelids, Jimin felt even more in love because she really looked so cute in the eyeshadow that she wore (although Jimin was a hundred percent sure she's way more beautiful if she wore no make-up). Her nose was so adorably cute as well. And her lips? Ugh, Jimin felt like all his strength were getting dried up from how much he was trying to stop himself from leaning in and kissing those pink thin lips.
Jimin sighed inwardly. Even her pale complexion suited her very well.
The infatuated boy finally snapped out of his really embarrassing reverie and immediately averted his eyes, feeling like his heart was gonna explode in how fast it was beating.
"H-here you go..." he struggled to say as he offered her the phone.
She silently accepted it, glanced up at Jimin quickly, before running away so fast.
Jimin blinked.
Oh shit, he hadn't even gotten the chance to ask her name.
The boy facepalmed as he thought of Jungkook's words. Maybe his dongsaeng was right after all, he really was lame.
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
"Hyung, are you okay? You look spaced out," Jungkook commented as they ate their lunch. Jimin barely touched his.
When Jimin blinked, he was bombarded with the worried faces of Jin and Jungkook.
"I'm...alright."
"Oh really?" Jin asked skeptically. Well, everybody knew no one could escape Kim Seokjin's judgmental stare. There was no use lying. His hyung would know the truth anyway.
"Maybe... I don't really know, hyung."
Jin narrowed his eyes. "What happened?"
Jimin heaved a deep sigh. "I was walking earlier when I bumped into this...really cute girl."
"Cute?" Jungkook said with waggling eyebrows.
"Uh...yeah, but I haven't really seen her before. I think she's a transfer student or something."
"What's her name?" Jin asked.
Jimin went silent, in which Jungkook slowly smirked. Aish, he's really gonna kick the brat's ass later.
"You don't know, do you?" the aforementioned brat asked, face filled with mockery as he chuckled at his hyung.
Such a disrespectful child.
"I knew it, hyung. You are sooooo lame."
Jimin glared at him. "Doesn't mean you got a date, you're already cool. Tsk, you couldn't even answer your damn homework and still pester me to do it for you."
"Stop it, you two, or you won't receive your share of the cake that I baked," Jin threatened as he sighed wearily. "Jiminie, if you're really that interested on her, try looking for her. And to shut up this chuckling maknae, man up and ask for her name and number."
Jimin pouted, but still nodded.
He was halfway in finishing his food when he got an idea. Probably that cute girl was in the cafeteria?
With that in mind, he craned his neck to look at the expanse of the cafeteria, searching for a particular black-haired girl. To his dismay, the girl was nowhere to be seen. He did notice, though, that the table where Hoseok and his friends usually sat were empty, which was very odd.
The boy sighed as he turned back to his food. Maybe he'd see her later.
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
And he really did.
Jimin had just went out from his last class when he saw the same cute girl walking through the hallways. At first Jimin had the urge to run away, starting to feel his heart beat faster. But then, he remembered Jungkook and his annoying face. Well, at least that gave him the courage he needed.
The boy chuckled at the scowl and annoyance clear on the girl's face. Everybody she passed by turned to her and couldn't look away anymore. Jimin really felt them.
But instead of basking his newly found fame, the girl seemed to hate the attention. She looked like she'd rather be anywhere than right there. It's fine, though. The scowl on her face still looked just as cute.
Realizing that coming up to her and asking for her name would probably catch so much attention, Jimin decided to hang low for awhile and subtly follow her until he could get her alone and talk to her properly. He was getting enough attention by himself, he's not gonna make the girl hate him and leave a bad first impression by embarrassing her in front of all these nosy students.
As Jimin lowkey followed the girl, he noticed that the way she walked was a bit boyish. He found it quite cute, and really...adorable. He didn't even notice that he was already laughing loudly until the girl turned around, her body rigid and her eyes wide in alarm.
Jimin froze.
Shit, he probably looked like a stalker.
The good thing was, they were already outside the school building and were currently in a slightly isolated place in their campus. If the girl would accuse him of being a stalker, at least it wouldn't be that shameful.
They looked at each other for a few seconds before Jimin snapped out of it and slowly walked towards her, flashing his most charming smile that he hoped looked friendly, not threatening.
"Hi, I'm Park Jimin, by the way. We, uh, met earlier?" Jimin carefully said, halting when he already got near enough. The response that was given to him was not what he had hoped for, though, because she glared at him.
Like really, really glared at him.
The kind of glare that said he'd better fuck off because she got a gun in her bag.
Jimin isn't backing out, though. It's not all the time that you get to see such a beautiful girl. "I haven't seen you around so you must be a transfer student."
The girl, instead of saying anything, only turned away. She barely gave any more glance at Jimin as she started to walk away. Ouch. That really hurt.
But, what was Jimin but a hardworking person?
Without really thinking much, he ran after her and grabbed her hand to stop her. Her hand felt so smooth and soft. He gently pulled her around, making her face him. But when he did this, he absolutely did not expect that their faces would be this close, to the point that the girl's nose bumped into his.
He could see a flush spreading on the girl's face.
"U-umm..."
It was really awkward. The girl glanced down at their intertwined hands, before she raised her eyes again to glare at Jimin. The boy swallowed nervously.
"Can I at least know your name?" he whispered, but his voice was loud enough for the other to hear it.
He stared as the girl opened her mouth, about to say something, but she closed it again and looked away. It was such a shame. Jimin was very excited to hear her voice. She had not spoken ever since they met.
Despite the fact that the girl had not answered his inquiry, Jimin still unabashedly stared at her face. Now that she's even more up close, Jimin could see how well her pale complexion matched with her dark brows and beautiful eyes. Jimin just continued gazing, not caring about anything anymore as he all but forgot his usual shy self.
He lightly squeezed the girl's hand as he spoke again, voice still in the form of whisper. "Please?"
This made the girl's gaze turn back to him, eyes meeting Jimin's waiting ones. They gazed at each other for what seemed like years, before she swallowed visibly and shifted her gaze downward. Jimin's breathing hitched. She was staring at his lips, hungrily.
He froze in place, thinking of all the possibilities that might take place. Would she kiss him?
Jimin's mouth was now slightly open, breathing soft puffs, as he waited what she would do next. What she did next though, was not in any of the hopeful scenarios in Jimin's head. She pulled back her hand harshly as if burned, before turning away, running faster this time.
She left.
Again.
Leaving an even more confused Park Jimin.
When she left this time, Jimin couldn't help but think that she looked so oddly familiar.

"So you're back to your usual emo self now," Hoseok said with a chuckle, making Yoongi's mood worse.
The pale boy adjusted his thick frames and pulled out his phone to listen to some music. He just hoped that when he plugged the earphones to his ears, it would effectively zone out his best friend's noisy voice.
He was just lucky that the cheerleading team had a practice and that Taehyung was not here, or it would be far worse. But despite his bad mood, he was more than happy that he was now back to his usual rectangular frames, black jacket, white shirt, grayish jeans and black shoes. Oh, how he missed this outfit.
Hoseok sat next to him and patted his back. "I know you still feel bitter about the dare, hyung. On the brighter side, at least it's all done now, right?"
Yoongi glared at him. The chirpy brat pretending to be sympathetic. "I do not feel bitter. I only feel murderous."
"Come on, hyung. But wasn't it fun? All of the students were gawking at you. They didn't even recognize you. You're so beautiful!" Hoseok gushed, his hands flying in the effort of elaborating his point.
"I'd prefer if we will just forget everything and never ever talk about it, Hoseok."
Because really, it was such a nightmare. Taehyung just had to suggest the worst dare in the world; dress as a girl on the opening of the school year. Ugh. Yoongi had tried real hard to walk like a girl and act like a girl, not because he wanted to, but because he needed to. If he won't do that, someone might recognize that it was him, then his life would be over.
His precious dignity. His poor, poor precious dignity.
He did look beautiful though. Not bad.
Truth was, everything was pretty smooth sailing. And he really had thought that he'd be able to go home alive. Then, that just had to happen. He just had to bump into Park Jimin. Twice. Park Jimin, who looked really cute whenever his eyes turned up into moons every time he smiled. Park Jimin, who, despite being so cute and adorable, was also awfully hot and seductive every time he danced. Park Jimin, who had this angelic voice that was so soothing Yoongi longed to feature him in one of the songs he had written. Park Jimin, who was actually the subject of most of the songs and raps he had created. Park Jimin, who was Yoongi's secret crush for three years now.
Yep, that Park Jimin.
"But seriously hyung, I wouldn't even know that you were that pretty girl, what with all your thick-framed glasses and bangs that you always wore. You were really beautiful. I bet Namjoon would've fallen in love with you if only he wasn't still hopelessly in love with his ex, Jin-hyung," Hoseok continued, saying nothing but nonsense.
Wow, now Yoongi definitely wanted to puke.
"You're disgusting," the older said as he glared at the smiling boy beside him.
Hoseok was about to speak once more when Namjoon suddenly appeared from thin air. "Did I hear my name?"
Yoongi, who was feeling pretty heartless at the moment, used the opportunity to get back at Hoseok. He smirked.
"Yeah, Hoseok was talking about Seokjin, saying that you still haven't moved on," Yoongi said, barely feeling any pity as Hoseok's smiling face changed into a panicked one.
Namjoon blinked in surprise, then turned to Hoseok to give him a death glare.
Hoseok spoke up, making Yoongi guess that the younger boy would change the topic.
And he could never be more correct.
"Whoa, guys! Did you know that Jungkook asked help from me to date Tae?"
"He likes Tae?" Yoongi asked with a frown on his face.
Jungkook and Jimin were always together that Yoongi started suspecting if they were just friends. It's quite refreshing to know that Jeon Jungkook actually liked Tae. Refreshing, not because he had a little infatuation towards Jimin, but simply because the guy was fearless enough to ask Taehyung on a date. His crazy but handsome friend was too crazy that those who had a crush on him had no guts to even go near him. He guessed that Jungkook was a different one.
Hoseok nodded in response to Yoongi's question. He then started to laugh as he seemed to realize something.
"It's really funny," he started saying when he got over his laughing fit. "Jungkook, Seokjin and Jimin are like, stuck to the hips. Just imagine Kookie dating Tae, then Namjoon pining over Jin.It's like, our groups of friends are soulmates or something. And of course, your dear Hobi is the handsome cupid of the century."
Raising his eyebrow, Namjoon asked, "If it's Jungkook and Tae, then me and Jin, how about Jimin then?"
"Then he'll have no choice but to accept the only one left, Mr. Old Grumpy Yoongi," Hoseok said with a shrug.
Yoongi scowled. "I'm done. You guys are insane. Why am I even friends with you?"
His words were ignored and the two continued on talking, debating about how Hoseok was a cupid when all he did was to stick his nose on other people's love lives. Yoongi rolled his eyes.
Feeling bored, sleepy and, murderous, Yoongi pulled a scowling face as he watched his two friends bicker. He was debating if he should plug his earphones now or if he should listen to their conversation in case they started talking about him and Jimin.
"Uh, Hobi-hyung?" a shy voice came.
Yoongi didn't need to turn to know who it was. He knew that soft voice very well.
"Ah, Jiminie!" Hoseok greeted back just as Yoongi looked down at his phone, pretending that he did not care about anything at all. Well, he didn't really need to pretend that much since he's doing that ever since he was a fetus. This was Jimin, though.
And that meant eavesdropping.
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
Jimin smiled shyly as he approached his expectant hyung. He side-glanced at Yoongi who was beside Hoseok, happy that the older wasn't paying attention.
Jimin was always wary whenever he's around Min Yoongi. The older boy always wore a scowl and was normally cold to everyone except to his friends. He's like that one person you know that seemed to be a serial killer at night. Sometimes he couldn't help but stare at this mysterious guy, too weak to resist curiosity. But in those times when he got caught, the older would immediately send a glare his way.
Truth be told, Jimin was quite scared of Yoongi.
Just like the whole campus.
Unlike them though, Jimin personally thought that Yoongi's grumpiness was quite cute. Like that one time when Jimin had lost his phone and he was in the verge of crying when Yoongi found him in the men's room. Yoongi's face was expressionless and his voice was monotonous when he asked what was wrong. Then the next day, Jin handed him his phone, saying that Namjoon (which used to be his boyfriend) found it near the back-garden of the school. Jimin had thanked Namjoon by giving him chocolates. He did make sure that it was the brand he had observed Yoongi always bought (hoping that his Namjoon-hyung would share it to Yoongi) because, for some reason, he was so sure that Min Yoongi had something to do with how his phone suddenly showed up.
"Why is our cute Jiminie here?" Hoseok asked with his usual bright smile, snapping Jimin out of his trance.
"Uh, am I disturbing you guys?" Jimin asked as he stood awkwardly beside Hoseok.
Namjoon smiled with all his dimpled glory. "It's good that you came, or we won't stop arguing."
Jimin laughed while Hoseok gave Namjoon a dirty look.
"Anyway, I have to go now. Still need to attend the Student Council meeting." And with that, Namjoon left, leaving one last wave.
After waving back at Namjoon, Jimin sat beside Hoseok. Hoseok was now between Jimin and Yoongi.
"I just want to ask something hyung, since you're so friendly and you know almost all of the people here," Jimin started, fingers fumbling over the soft fabric of his shirt.
Hoseok patted Jimin's head in a fond way. "What is it?"
"Umm..." Jimin looked away as he felt heat travel to his face. "Do you happen to know a female transfer student with black hair and pale complexion?"
The boy stared at Hoseok as the boy furrowed his eyes in thought. In Jimin's peripheral view, he saw Yoongi straighten and froze. He wondered why's that.
"Not really sure..." Hoseok said, eyebrows furrowing even more.
"Uh, I saw her walking near the classrooms of the Seniors. You should've seen or heard of her. Many students...stared at her, you know..."
It was then that Jimin saw the hint of recognition in Hoseok's eyes. He knew her!
"Oh... Oh..."
Jimin nodded excitedly, his heart practically jumping in joy. "You know her?"
"Err..." Hoseok answered unsurely, quickly glancing at Yoongi before turning back at Jimin. "May I know why you're asking?"
The poor boy blushed furiously as he tried to decide if he should tell Hoseok the truth or not. Would it be worth it? Or would he just embarrass himself?
As it turned out, there's no need to fuss over. It was probably obvious with how red his face was because his Hobi-hyung was chuckling hard, his hand clutching his stomach. Jimin pouted. He was being laughed at.
If only he was a cooler type of person like Yoongi, he wouldn't have blushed like that.
"D-don't..." Hoseok said, struggling in the midst of his laughing fit. "D-don't tell m-me you...have a crush on him- I mean, her?"
Jimin's red face went impossibly redder. He tried to ignore the mocking eyes of his unhelpful hyung and the odd glances he was receiving from Min Yoongi as he looked away and huffed in distress.
"S-so what if I have a crush on her?" he defended himself, arms crossed and still looking away.
He was expecting an unmerciful teasing from his Hoseok but all he heard was silence. When he turned his head to the side to look at his face, all he saw there was genuine shock. Jimin blinked.
"You mean you really like her?" was Hoseok's flabbergasted question.
Jimin was about to pout and complain that he didn't want to repeat what he said, when suddenly, a phone toppled over, sliding through the ground and stopping near Hoseok's feet. Judging from the direction where the phone came from, and from Yoongi's murmured 'Shit!', the phone obviously belonged to him.
Being the good kid he was (and maybe he also really badly wanted to do something for Yoongi since he's pretty sure that the grumpy boy was the one who found his phone), Jimin quickly crouched down and picked up the phone. He walked towards where Yoongi sat and handed him his phone, noticing that it looked familiar.
Sleek black Iphone X with a white headphone sticker on the back.
Wasn't this...
Jimin looked up, eyes wide as he took in the view of Yoongi's face. His mind was filled with how impossible it was for two people to have the same phone with the same sticker placed in the same damn place, but it was completely forgotten when his eyes raked over the older's face. He had never seen the man's face this close. He already knew that the boy was handsome, but he never realized that he was this handsome. His face was ethereal and if Jimin would've been a girl, he would helplessly fall in love with this boy.
Cat-like eyes, pink thin lips, pale complexion, the same phone...
Jimin's eyes widened as realization dawned upon him.
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
Shit.
Yoongi went stiff as he watched the realization forming in Jimin's face.
It was all over now.
Jimin knew.
The younger boy's mouth opened in awe as he uttered the dreaded words that Yoongi couldn't take to hear.
"C-could you be..."
Yoongi blinked.
"...her brother?"
What?
Jimin looked away quickly as a a faint blush slowly covered his cute cheeks. The younger boy slowly stepped back, eyes averted from Yoongi and hands clasped together in a nervous gesture.
"I just...uh... Err, I notice that you really look like her so maybe... umm... A-are you her brother?" he asked, voice wavering as if talking to Yoongi was like doing a report in front of the whole class. "B-but if not, then uh, s-sorry! I really apologize..."
He looked like he wanted to be anywhere but here.
Yoongi frowned. He was so sure that the younger was about to bolt away, but then Hoseok suddenly spoke up.
"He is! Actually...uh, he is her brother..."
Yoongi turned to him, eyes glaring and blazing with silent threats. What in the name of fuck was wrong with this guy?!
"Uh...really? Umm..." Jimin spoke, face now getting redder as he fiddled with the cuff of his shirt.
Yoongi scowled. Dark.
Jimin winced, seeming to think that Yoongi was glaring at him. The younger boy backed away a little before speaking again.
"Maybe you're thinking that I'm so weird for asking about your sister... Err, I'm really sorry! I'm not a stalker, promise!"
Yeah well, you're too cute to be a stalker.
Yoongi stared at the younger boy, having mixed emotions. He was utterly confused on what he should do with this fucked up situation that his best-but-not-so-anymore friend got him into. But at the same time, he also couldn't help but stare at and ogle Park Jimin who was in front of him now.
"But umm," Jimin struggled. Yoongi honestly would've took pity on him if he was not too busy ogling him. "Can I...uh, ask for her name?"
Yoongi blinked.
Name?
Shit.
The pale boy immediately turned to look at Hoseok alarmingly. Good thing Jimin's head was lowered or he would've seen the facial expressions exchanged between the two, murderous and questioning in particular from Yoongi and panicked ones from Hoseok.
Hoseok nudged his head towards Jimin, indicating that they should just ride with the situation since there's nothing left to do. Of course, Hoseok just had to put him into trouble and leave him be to do the rest.
Yoongi didn't have a choice now. He couldn't tell Jimin the truth. It would be embarrassing.
"Her name is Min Yoonji."
"O-oh? Okay...umm, thanks for that Yoongi-hyung," Jimin said smiling shyly at him.
Nope, Yoongi's heart did not flutter on seeing that charming smile directed to him.
"May I also ask why I haven't seen her? Not that I've searched the whole school to look for her! Uh, err..."
Yoongi smirked. What was Min Yoongi but a sweetassed liar, sprinkled of course with, ahem, swag and savageness on top.
"She's a transfer student, but after the first day of classes, she received a letter from that school that she really liked, telling her that she was accepted. She immediately withdrew her enrollment here and transferred there, right, Hoseokie?"
When Yoongi looked back to see Hoseok's face, he was very much delighted to see him torn between confusion, worry and surprise. Hoseok blinked many times when Yoongi called his name.
"U-uh, yes. Yeah...yeah...that's true," Hoseok said, giving Jimin a forced bright smile.
"I see," Jimin said, nodding seriously. He stared at a blank space for a few seconds, seeming to think deeply.
Yoongi tilted his head as the younger's face slowly turned into a darker shade of red. He wondered what was going on inside the boy's mind. He wondered even more how was it possible that he could be this cute despite the fact that he could now be considered a tomato.
Jimin slowly turned his eyes to Yoongi's. "Uh, can I ask for Yoonji's number? O-only if y-you don't mind! It's alright i-if-"
"Sure," Yoongi said, his lips stretching to a subtle smile. "No problem, Jiminie. But my phone fell and umm," Yoongi acted like he was checking his phone. "It looked like it's damaged. Hoseok-ah! Why don't you be the one to give Jimin my sister's number?"
He turned back to Hoseok again, flashing him a shit-eating grin. He loved his best friend but Hoseok deserved this. Yoongi was only doing this for Hoseok's own good. Yep, he was.
Totally not doing this for revenge.
Hoseok's eyes widened as Jimin turned to him as well with hopeful eyes. He smiled so wide it almost looked scary. Funny what lame acting skills could do.
"M-my phone is lowbatt. But don't worry! I'll text it to you later," he finished, his right hand coming up to scratch his ear as he continued to smile at Jimin. He always scratched his ear whenever he was lying. That's just Hoseok.
Jimin nodded happily, eyes turning into two crescent moons that never failed to make Yoongi's heart beat faster. "Thanks!"
And with that, the cute boy bowed and awkwardly left. Yoongi couldn't get out of his mind the sparkle in Jimin's eyes. He had never seen it that close.
Yoongi sighed happily.
"Hyung! What should we do now?! You just promised to give Jimin the number of someone nonexistent!" Hoseok said, hands flying up to frustratedly ran it through his hair.
"Not me, Hobi, but you. This is your fault, you told him I was 'her' brother."
Hoseok grimaced, looking like he was about to cry. "But that was only because he seemed so serious about it! I think Jimin really likes you, genuinely, hyung."
Yoongi looked away as he picked up his bag. He scowled at Hoseok's word. "He does not like me, Hobi, but Yoonji. This is now your problem since you started this."
"Hyung, please! Don't leave me in this," the other boy begged, desperately hanging unto Yoongi's arm. "We need a number to give him. Jimin is a very precious thing, I can't hurt him. We need to do something."
But shit, Hoseok was right.
"Fine. I've got an extra phone, the one that I thought was permanently damaged but suddenly turned on last month? Let's just give him that number," Yoongi said, mind working swiftly with made up stories and lies.
He honestly felt guilty and very uncomfortable with lying to Park Jimin. It was fun awhile ago, but now that the situation finally sunk in, he realized that this was a serious shit. Damn it, he had a very bad feeling about this.
"But how will we discourage him in liking Yoonji? Who will pretend to be Yoonji when he texts? And worse, what if he calls, hyung?!" the younger said, eyes getting wider and wider each time another alarming question popped up his mind. He was seriously having a nervous breakdown. "Oh, I know! Let's just let it be and pretend that Yoonji's phone got broken or something."
Yoongi shook his head, now sitting down. He adjusted his glasses and licked his lips as he puzzled it all out. "We can't do that. He thinks I'm her brother, so he'd come to us asking about her still. We need to answer his texts..."
"But-"
"We just need to make a believable story. This is easy. I'll handle it," Yoongi said, patting Hoseok's back.
"What do you exactly mean, hyung?"
"We could tell him that Yoonji has this best friend that she's in love with to discourage him. Then after a few days or weeks, we could tell him that Yoonji and her best friend are already in a relationship. We still have to text him though, to avoid suspicions and all."
"What if he calls? Hyung, your voice hardly resembled a girl's."
"Yoonji is mute. Period."
"Mute?!"
Yoongi gave him a pointed look. "I-... I never spoke in all those times that I met Park Jimin when I was dressed as a girl so..."
Hoseok nodded. "Okay, okay..."
"And we could just tell him the Yoonji is leaving, going to some place far away. I could tell him that the school we were talking about is in Daegu and she'll be staying there for good," Yoongi added, eyes narrowed as he reviewed the whole story in his mind.
The lie was swiftly made, but the quality was good nonetheless.
"But hyung, how will we-"
"I'll handle this, okay? Just don't talk to Jimin or text him or anything at all. And please Hobi, avoid him but do not be so freakin obvious about it. I'm honestly surprised that he did not notice that something was wrong earlier, your face was so pale anyone could say that you're lying."
Hoseok sighed, slumping down next to Yoongi, looking like he just lost in a dance battle. "What have I done, hyung?"
"Good question, Hobi, good question."
•|•|•|•|~YM~|•|•|•|•
"Hyung, anything wrong?" Jungkook asked, sitting beside Jimin and Jin in the canteen.
Jin was the one who answered him. "He's been spacing out for sometime now. He didn't even eat this Carbonara that I made."
At hearing this, Jimin blinked, then looked down at the untouched food in front if him. He bit his lip in guilt.
Jungkook clicked his tongue and slowly dragged the plate of carbonara towards him. "Is this still about that girl, hyung? Wow, it seems like cupid has finally managed to hit that stone heart of yours."
Jimin scowled at him. Aish, this fetus was being dramatic again. "Shut up, Kookie. You talk like the fake cool person you are when the truth is, you almost peed on your pants that time Taehyung approached us to borrow my notes."
"Yah! That's not true! Well, at least I'm not like you. You don't even know the name of your crush," Jungkook said, shooting a glare at Jimin's way.
The older boy smirked. "I already know her name, Jungcock, so you can now shut your mouth up about how lame I am."
Jin raised his eyebrows at this, in the middle of chewing the poor fried chicken he was attacking. "Really? When? Have you met her again, then?"
The question made Jimin remember what happened yesterday when he approached Hoseok. It was really embarrassing. He hadn't been that straightforward all his life, asking for the girl's name and number. To her brother, of all people. But what could Jimin do, he just really needed to see her again. It felt like all their encounters were too short and mysterious.
Thinking about that reminded Jimin of his conversation with Min Yoongi. It was really...odd. In a good way, though. He had never talked to that man that long, and had never seen his face that close. Whoa, Yoongi was really handsome. The kind of handsome that you couldn't take away your eyes because his face just felt so ethereal and perfect. If not for his glasses and long bangs, he probably already had a fans club by now. No wonder his sister was also very pretty.
Jimin sighed. He really had a thing for pale complexions and pink thin lips.
And wait, he even called Jimin 'Jiminie'. It was the first time Yoongi said his name and the word 'Jiminie' just sounded so...so pleasant coming from his lips. Not just that, he was also, umm, less cold? Yep, not that cold yesterday. He even smiled at Jimin. That was very...enlightening. Very life-changing indeed. Jimin almost became gay because of that. Just almost.
He had always been curious about the guy. But now, Jimin was so sure that Min Yoongi was already his idol. The guy was just oozing with swag and coolness, something that Jimin couldn't achieve naturally and on a daily basis.
"Hyung...? Calling, calling, earth to Jiminie pabo," Jimin noticed Jungkook saying.
The older boy smacked the younger on the head and gave him an annoyed look. Aish, sometimes he couldn't help but think that Jeon Jungkook only existed to annoy him to death.
"Whatever, Jeon Jungkook. I'll seriously feed you to crocodiles one of these days."
Jungkook stuck his tongue out. "You spaced out while Jin-hyung was asking you. Is it because you really met her again or you're just pretending to space out because the truth is, you really still don't know her name and you're just bluffing?"
"Aiiish!" Jimin said, smacking the other boy's head again. "But umm, what was your question again, hyung?"
Jin smiled, amused. "I was asking when did you meet her again and when did you know her name."
Jimin bit his lip as he looked down to hide a blush. "Actually... I was not able to meet her again but-"
"Knew it!" Jungkook exclaimed happily. Jimin glared at him, but proceeded to ignore his remark.
"But I had an idea of asking Hobi-hyung since he knew many of the students here. And well, it's just so funny because that girl," he then turned to Jungkook as he emphasized his next words, "named Min Yoonji, is actually Yoongi-hyung's sister. She transferred after the first day because she got a letter from an, elite school I think, that she really liked telling her that she got accepted."
"Wait a minute," Jin said, eyebrows furrowing. "Did you say Yoongi's sister?"
Jimin nodded.
"Namjoon never mentioned Yoongi having a sister. I only knew that he had an older brother."
Jimin shrugged at this. "Maybe he hadn't mentioned. Anyway, Hobi-hyung promised to give me Yoonji's number. He said he'll just text it."
Jungkook finished off the carbonara by unashamedly licking the plate. After doing so, he flashed a satisfied grin and turned to Jimin. "I'm really proud that you finally grew some balls, hyung. You should thank me for being a very supportive friend."
"Wow, I'm really thankful, Jeon Jungkook," Jimin said dryly.
Jungkook clicked his tongue. "You might think that I'm too mean towards you, hyung, but that's what made you do something, right? It's what you call," and with a haughty smile that made Jimin desperately want to strangle him, he continued, "tough love."
Jimin rolled his eyes. He did not retort anymore because it would just be a waste of time dealing with crazy people like him.
After awhile, Jin started talking about the new cooking book he bought because he already had tried everything from his last one. Jimin and Jungkook did not dare to speak about the fact his last one was given by Namjoon and it was quite obvious that the reason why he wouldn't use it anymore was because it reminded him of the boy.
It became silent again, in which Jin was reading a book and Jungkook was busy lowkey looking around, probably looking for Taehyung. Jimin was getting bored, so bored that he unknowingly spoke up what was inside his head.
"Don't you think Min Yoongi is so handsome?" he asked, eyes widening after a few beats when he realized what he had done.
Jungkook snorted. "I though your crush was his sister, not him."
Jimin scowled. "Of course it's Yoonji that I like. Doesn't mean that I idolize someone and think he's handsome, I already have a crush on him."
The younger boy raised one very judgmental eyebrow. "Well, forgive me for assuming wrong. You simply looked and sounded like you'll give your life just to marry him."
"I did not."
Jin blinked. "You did. You said 'don't you think Min Yoongi is so handsome' very dreamily," the older said as-a-matter-of-factly.
Jimin cringed at hearing this. That's absolutely not true. They simply misinterpreted. He was about to launch a five pages worth of explanation when suddenly, a low cough interrupted them, voice deep which surprised Jimin and startled him.
They all turned to see who it was.
For some odd and very unexplainable reason, Jimin's heart raced, because standing there awkwardly beside their table was no other than Min Yoongi.
"Umm, can I speak with Jimin for awhile?" he said, scratching the back of his neck.
It was adorable to see Yoongi uncomfortable and without his usual cold facade. Jimin smiled up at him.
Jungkook and Jin shared a glance, but Jimin ignored them. He stood up and the two of them walked together out of the canteen and to the area near the men's room. Jimin stared at him expectantly.
"I'm here to give you Yoonji's number," Yoongi said, handing Jimin a small piece of paper.
The younger boy felt his face heat up as he accepted said paper. He licked his lips and glanced at Yoongi before flashing him a shy smile. He did not even remember that it was supposed to be Hoseok texting him the said number.
"There are a few things you need to know first, though," Yoongi said, his gaze heavy and intense. Jimin had to look away.
"W-what are those?"
Yoongi sighed, running his hand through his hair. Jimin personally thought that Yoongi looked so handsome every time he did that. He was not gonna say that out loud, though.
"You can't call Yoonji."
I can't? Could it be because Yoongi didn't like Jimin for his sister? That's quite...hurtful to think.
Yoongi, probably noticing the deep frown set upon Jimin's features, quickly spoke his explanation.
"Don't think anything about it. It's simply because Yoonji is mute."
"Oh..." Jimin said, quite speechless. He definitely did not expect that. Maybe that's why Yoonji seemed to be really pissed off when he asked her what's her name. Aish, Jimin was really stupid. He should've known earlier.
Yoongi was regarding him with an odd kind of look, and before Jimin knew it, he was already blabbering things. "It's f-fine. You know, being mute. I've got no problems with that. I think Yoonji is a great girl and this disability is not a hindrance for her to do what she wants and to reach for her dreams. Umm...uh, well..."
Jimin was so embarrassed that he refused to look at the older boy, but when he did glance, he saw that Yoongi's head was tilted and his lips were doing this little smile that seemed to say that he was amused with Jimin.
"How can you say all that when you don't even know Yoonji that well yet?" Yoongi asked.
Jimin once again felt his face heat up. Aish, when would he stop embarrassing himself in front of Min Yoongi. "N-no! What I meant was-"
And then Jimin was not able to finish his sentence because Yoongi was chuckling. He had never seen the boy laugh before. Jimin had no idea that Yoongi looked so cute when his face was lighted up with a wide smile that showed his gums.
"It's alright. I know what you mean. I was just joking. You looked so panicked right there," Yoongi said, his hand flying up and resting it on Jimin's shoulder.
Jimin stared at the hand.
Noticing Jimin staring, the boy awkwardly withdrew his hand and cleared his throat. Damn it, Jimin regretted his rude staring. Now Yoongi was probably thinking that he's like one of those snob people who didn't like to be touched.
"It's fine!" Jimin quickly compensated. "You can touch me! I m-mean, err, touch my shoulder. Shit, I sound so weird."
And he really did sound so weird. Damn it, Park Jimin. What the heck is wrong with you?!
Thankfully, his words made Yoongi smile again, more like smirk, really.
The older boy glanced at his watch before his face frowned. "It's almost time for my next class. I've got to go."
Jimin nodded. "Alright. Thanks for this, hyung!"
Yoongi nodded at him as well. "Before I go though, I need to tell you something important. I know you like Yoonji and all but, she's actually in love with her best friend. I don't want you to get hurt in the end."
Oh...
Despite feeling a weird tightening sensation in his chest, he still flashed a smile at Yoongi. "Thanks, hyung. This really means a lot to me."
And with that, Yoongi jogged away, probably almost late to his next class. Jimin was also almost late, but he couldn't really care that much right now. He had just transitioned from utmost glee at getting his crush's number, to slight depression at knowing that his crush actually liked somebody else.
Jimin took a better look at the paper handed to him by Yoongi.
Min Yoonji - xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
And below it was,
Yoongi - xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
So Yoongi also gave his own number.
And just like that, Jimin's mood was lifted up again and he was smiling when he entered his class despite how dark and menacing the glare of their teacher was.

It was already afternoon and Jimin already arrived at his house. For the past thirty minutes, he had been contemplating whether to text Yoonji or not.
As he thought of their encounter, Yoonji didn't seem to be that happy with him. But still, Jimin still had to try. It's not like he's gonna ask her to be his girlfriend. He just wanted to be friends. For now.
Breathing in, he started typing.
Me: Hi! This is Park Jimin. That guy you bumped into the other day at the school of your brother?
Then Jimin quickly pressed the send button, knowing that if he'd stop and think, he'll probably back out. Now though, as he read the message he sent, he scowled. Damn, it sounded so lame.
A few minutes had gone by and he still haven't received a reply. His nails were already ragged with how much he was nibbling on it. That was why when his phone suddenly vibrated, he all but jumped in surprise.
He scrambled to pick his phone, and even almost dropped it in his haste, as he opened the new message.
Yoonji <3: How did you get my number?
Jimin bit his lip. Umm, how should he answer this? Was he allowed to say that it's her brother himself who gave him the message.
Me: From Yoongi-hyung :) He and our dance troupe leader are friends. That's how we knew each other.
It felt like Jimin hadn't breathed at all until he received a reply.
Yoonji <3: Okay. Is there anything you need from me?
Okay, this was a bit...too unfriendly? But Jimin was already expecting this, she was after all the sister of savage king Min Yoongi.
Me: I was just wondering if your phone was alright. Its fall was pretty awful.
Yoonji <3: It's fine. Thank you for helping me out that time.
Me: No problem. I noticed that you have the same phone as Yoongi-hyung. Was it your phone or your brother's...?
Okay so that was a thousand times lame and Jimin was cringing inwardly at how disgusting he was. He could not think of any other topic to talk about just to keep the conversation going and if he's going to be honest, he was also very curious.
Jimin regretted it two hours after, though, because Yoonji did not reply anymore.
•|•|•|•|~YM~|•|•|•|•
Jimin's last class had just ended and he was waiting for his Jin-hyung nearby his own locker. Jungkook was nowhere to be seen, which was weird.
He was at his fourth sigh when he noticed Namjoon, Hoseok and Yoongi passing by. He smiled and waved at them.
"Hey Jiminie," Namjoon greeted. "What are you doing here alone? And wait, is that a frown on your face?"
Jimin blinked. He was that obvious? He thought he looked just fine. Aish.
The younger boy smiled up at the taller one, seeing the concern. He and Namjoon were not that close, but with how long his past relationship with Jin lasted, Namjoon became like his older brother, more like dad actually.
"I'm fine, hyung," Jimin lied, avoiding the curious gaze of Hoseok and Yoongi.
Namjoon frowned. "Whatever that is, you know that you can still share things to me, right? I'll be here anytime."
With a thankful smile, Jimin nodded his head. Now that he's feeling better thanks to his hyung, he finally had the courage to look at Hoseok and Yoongi and smiled at them as well. Hoseok smiled back, his smile quite stiff. Yoongi merely nodded.
Jimin sighed inwardly at this. They probably already knew what a loser Jimin was.
To brighten up the mood, Namjoon playfully punched Jimin on the arm and wagged his eyebrows. "Don't tell me that our Jiminie is having love problems?" he joked teasingly, not even knowing how freaking right he was.
Jimin responded with an awkward laugh. "I don't even have any love life right now, hyung. I'm too ugly for anyone to desire me," he joked back, sounding a bit too bitter, though.
Namjoon didn't seem to catch his bitterness and patted his head. "Well, why don't you get a girlfriend now to ease that sadness, hm?"
"I can only take one rejection at a time, hyung. Maybe next time?" Jimin said, his face forming a smile that he hoped did not look like a grimace.
Unlike earlier though, Namjoon now probably noticed the hidden bitterness in both Jimin's tone and face. The older boy blinked his eyes in surprise.
"You got rejected?"
"Umm..." he quickly did an awkward glance at Hoseok and Yoongi's direction to see their reaction before grinning once again at Namjoon. Shit, now he looked even more obvious. "Uh, o-of course not eheheh. I was just kidding, hyung."
The worse thing was, his hyung didn't seem to believe a word as Jimin watched his face frown even more. His brain was already struggling to dig for excuses as he felt Hoseok and Yoongi boring holes unto him. Jimin didn't want them to take pity on him, his pride was already crushed enough when he sent those lame text messages to Yoonji.
But it seemed like he was lucky today because just as Namjoon was about to open his mouth to say something, Jin came, holding a book and too busy reading it to notice the three boys.
Namjoon, Hoseok and Yoongi's back were turned to Jin, so they did not know that he was walking towards them. In his excitement, Jimin exclaimed loudly.
"Jin-hyung!"
Namjoon visibly froze as soon as the words came out of Jimin's mouth, just as Jin did when he looked up and saw them. Hoseok and Yoongi on the other hand, turned in curiosity.
Suddenly, an awkward silence wrapped them all as Jin's eyes gazed at the back of Namjoon's head with an expressionless face, and as Namjoon stared at the lock of Jimin's locker as if it's the most interesting thing in the world.
The uncomfortable silence was finally broken by Hoseok who announced that they should be heading now. Jimin nodded and gave one last smile as they walked away.
He didn't fail to notice Yoongi's strange gaze towards him, his face serious and his lips pursed. Jimin almost shivered.
"Uh, Jiminie, where's Jungkook?" Jin said, sounding as if nothing happened at all.
Jimin shrugged. "I don't know. Probably chasing after Taehyung."
"Tsk, that kid," Jin said, clicking his tongue. "When was that date he was bragging about again?"
Jimin gave another shrug. "I don't know." And he really didn't. Every time Jungkook started talking about that date, his mind would automatically tune him off. Of course, not because he was too busy thinking of pale skin and pink lips, really, it's only because Jungkook was so annoying.
Jin frowned. "I think he had mentioned that it was...uh, on... Uh, wait, isn't it today?"
"Probably since I didn't see Taehyung with Namjoon-hyung and the others earlier," Jimin said. He ended up biting his tongue, though, because the moment Namjoon's name escaped his lips, his Jin-hyung's cute thinking face contorted into one that was expressionless. Jin looked away, one hand coming up to run it through the older's hair.
"Come on, now. We still need to buy those things you need for your project," Jin said curtly.
Jimin nodded quickly, not saying anything anymore as he followed his hyung.
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
Jimin was staring blankly at his Math homework when his phone suddenly rang. He blindly reached for it, lingering his gaze for a few more seconds at the confusing numbers before dragging his eyes to his phone.
He gasped.
Yoonji <3: It was my hyung's phone. Sorry I wasn't able to reply yesterday. I fell asleep. :)
A smiley?
Jimin's face did not take another second to split into a smile wider than the emoji that Yoonji attached to her message. Jimin could not believe his luck today. Yoonji did not just text, but she was also being friendly.
Wow.
Jimin scrambled to reply. But of course, he did not reply that fast. Tsk, he was not that excited at all.
Okay, so maybe he was.
Me: It's okay. So it was your brother's. :) Btw, you two look so much alike.
Yoonji <3: Many people say that, actually. I'm cute, so he's handsome. Oppa is really handsome, don't you think?
Jimin chuckled. Yoonji had no idea just how right she was, both on saying that she's cute and that her brother was handsome.
Me: He really is. I think he's one of the most attractive people I've known, aside from you though ;). Don't tell him I told you that.
Yoonji <3: Should I really believe you? You could just be lying about my brother, who knows.
Me: No joke! He's so handsome! And really cool. I want to be like him.
Hours later, Jimin's room was filled with laughter and with Jimin's voice as he talked to himself whilst thinking of how to reply to Yoonji. His homework was long forgotten and so was his sadness.
That night, Jimin slept with a content smile on his face.
•|•|•|•|~YM~|•|•|•|•
MyChim: Hey, have you eaten already? Stop skipping lunch!
Yoongi smiled when he read the message. He had been skipping lunch lately and told Jimin as much despite the fact that he was supposed to be 'Yoonji', thinking that it wouldn't really hurt to share a little bit of 'Yoongi'.
Jimin never texted his number, though. That's really...well, sad.
It had been two weeks already since he started texting Jimin as Yoonji. He swore, it wasn't supposed to get this long. Yoongi planned to end their conversation that first time and pretend that 'Yoonji' had no interest in texting a stranger. But then, Jimin looked so down the next day that Yoongi just couldn't help but do something. And of course, he had texted, promising himself that he would try to insert Yoonji lowkey telling Jimin that she was not interested.
But well...let's just say that he enjoyed texting Jimin? That the guy was actually so cute both in personal and in text? That he didn't want to see that frown on Jimin's face again?
And as he grandly broke his promise to himself, he continued texting the guy, but still taking care to be just friendly and not flirty so as not to lead him on. Thankfully, he had resisted those many urges to reply with a witty but lowkey flirting. He still remembered clearly Hoseok's face when he informed him that he was still texting Jimin. The poor guy almost lost his mind, worrying that this whole thing might blow up on their faces.
Yoongi didn't want to think about that, but he knew Hoseok was right.
The boy looked back down at the phone he's using as Yoonji, snapping out of his train of thoughts. He was about to type in a reply when a knock sounded at his door.
Setting aside the phone for awhile, he went to see who was knocking at his door at noon in this Saturday. It could be Hoseok, Namjoon or Tae, but they did not text him about coming.
Yoongi opened the door.
"Hyung!" Hoseok exclaimed with a shit-eating grin that told Yoongi he had done something gravely wrong.
Yoongi stared back. "What-"
However, Yoongi's witty remark was not able to successfully leave his mouth when his eyes landed on the two people gathering behind Hoseok like lost lambs.
Jimin and Jungkook smiled shyly at him.
Yoongi blinked, utterly confused.
"Umm, we were supposed to practice our trio showcase in Jungkook's place but the family of his mom's sister suddenly came to visit and there was no space anymore. Jimin only have a small apartment and you know I couldn't make them go to my place because Namjoon's doing a recording. So..."
"How about Tae's?" Yoongi said, wincing inwardly when he noticed how cold and strict his voice was.
Jungkook was the one who spoke. "He went to Mt. Fuji to pick some apples. His house is locked."
Of course. I forgot that he was actually going to Mt. Fuji today.
Yoongi watched as Jimin's face showed disbelief. "He what?! Are you serious? How could he go to abroad when we still have classes on Monday?"
"I don't know. He's so awesome," Jungkook said dreamily with a smile plastered on his face.
Yoongi sighed loudly, catching all of their attention. He opened his door wider, surrendering his life to his three dongsaengs. Or rather, surrendering his house.
"Thank you so much for letting us practice here, hyung!" Jimin said when he entered, flashing another shy smile that made his cheeks puff adorably and his eyes turn into crescent moons.
Yoongi nodded stiffly, having a hard time keeping it cool and pretending that his face was not in the verge of heating up. Ugh, he just hoped that he was not blushing in front of Jimin or it would be really embarrassing.
It took Yoongi a few seconds of staring at the back of Jimin's head to remember that the phone he was using to text Jimin was on the coffee table.
Never had he been so fast in his life.
Hiding the said phone on his back pocket, he shrugged his shoulders at the three of them. Hoseok smiled apologetically at him.
"Don't worry hyung, we'll be just here in your living room," he said.
Jungkook looked around in awe. "Whoa, your place is so nice, hyung!" Jungkook said, just as Jimin's jaw dropped once he took in his surroundings.
Yoongi scratched the back of his head, always feeling awkward whenever anyone compliments his flat. He had always been a natural interior designer, plus, his part-time job of making music gave him extra income aside from his monthly allowance from his parents which was the reason he was able to buy all these chic furniture.
"It's all...white and black," Jimin murmured. Yoongi smiled at this.
He really liked doing things in a minimalistic way. He loved how professional but at the same time comfortable his whole flat was. It shouted style, more than anything else. Yoongi couldn't be more proud.
The older boy simply shrugged off all their compliments and faced Hoseok. "Do you need me to move this couch aside to give you guys more space?"
Hoseok shook his head, giving Yoongi a grateful smile. "We'll just move the couch ourselves, hyung. Thank you so much."
"Okay. Umm, what can I get you? I only have cookies, ramen and coffee here. But I can go to the store to buy-"
"I want ice cream!" Jungkook exclaimed, one hand raised up in excitement.
Jimin elbowed him on the ribs. "Aish, Kookie! You're so embarrassing. Don't be a hassle to Yoongi-hyung."
"No, it's fine," Yoongi said, smiling at Jimin. He'd be lying if he would say that he was not making an effort to make his smile more charming if possible. Didn't Jimin say that he was very handsome?
Adjusting the glasses he was wearing, he continued, "How about you, Jimin, what do you want?"
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
Jimin almost choked when Yoongi asked him what he wanted. It took all of Jimin's guts not to look away because Yoongi's stare was so intense and deep and damn, his eyes were so nice. Maybe it looked nicer if he took off his glasses.
He blinked, remembering that he still needed to answer. "A-anything... Anything is fine, hyung."
He watched in hidden awe as Yoongi nodded his head and calmly went out of the house with both hands tucked in his pockets, probably heading to the nearest convenience store. But it seemed like his hidden awe was not that hidden at all.
"Whoa hyung, snap out of it. We need to start now," Jungkook said loudly in his ear.
Jimin winced and attempted to kick the other boy, which Jungkook successfully avoided. "Aish, I'm not deaf for you to shout at my ear, fetus."
"Tsk, I needed to repeat my words thrice for you to hear it. You didn't even know that I was already repeating myself because you're too busy salivating over Yoongi-hyung," Jungkook said as he dropped his duffel bag at one corner.
"I was not salivating!"
"Oh really? Then why did your eyes followed his every move as if you're planning to jump on him anytime," Jungkook retorted, sticking his tongue out.
Aish! The nerve of this ungrateful dongsaeng!
He was about to give Jungkook a long lecture when Hoseok himself spoke.
"But really, Jiminie, why is that? It's my first time seeing you stare at him like that," Hoseok said with an amused smile.
Jimin lowered his head as he felt a blush crept up his cheeks. "It's just that... Hyung doesn't really smile that much. I was just surprised that he smiled at me earlier."
And he really was. He had just recently discovered how handsome Yoongi was and the more the older boy pass a smile his way, the more Jimin felt enchanted. It was like he was fanboying over Min Yoongi. And let's not forget that Min Yoongi was the brother of his ultimate crush who also looked just as perfect.
"You're right, though," Hoseok said understandingly. "It was a bit odd that he smiled earlier."
After all that, the three of them started their practice. They moved the couch aside and continued doing the moves where they stopped the last time they practiced. Now, he and Jungkook were watching Hoseok as the older one showed them the steps he made.
Jimin glanced at his phone, sighing when he found that Yoonji had not yet replied to any of his texts. He had excitedly told the girl that he was in her brother's house. Maybe she was busy with something, Jimin concluded, since she usually would text back abruptly.
Or maybe she had just enough with talking with Jimin. He was a very boring person after all.
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
Yoongi had been lowkey ogling Jimin for the past two hours. He was pretending that he was busy doing some tracks in his laptop as he sat on the couch and the three boys danced in front of him, their backs facing him.
Yoongi was not aware how it was possible that Jimin was getting more and more gorgeous each time. Every time he laughed even just a little, or smile a little, Yoongi felt his stomach do some fluttery sensation. Not just that, he was one heck of a dancer. When he danced, he looked so awesome, so talented, so damn hot.
And nope, Yoongi was not staring at his butt. He definitely was not.
Okay, he was.
He couldn't be more grateful for his bangs which hid where his eyes were trained at. If not for his bangs and glasses, and the fact that he looked like he was looking down at his laptop even though he really was not, he would probably get caught with how much Jimin was glancing his way. He reckoned that the guy had a lot of questions about Yoonji in mind, that's why.
Yeah, and shit, they just did a body roll.
What had Yoongi done to be blessed with this kind of scenic view today? He must've been a good boy yesterday or something. Jimin's dancing was like an advanced birthday gift, and seeing him sweaty and panting was such a damn bonus.
"That was great!" Jungkook exclaimed as he turned off the music, his sweat dripping with so much dancing.
Hoseok agreed. "I think we're now ready."
The three of them started cleaning up after chugging their respective water bottles. Yoongi cleared his throat to get their attention. He stood up and gestured at the plastic bag that was on the coffee table. "I've bought several food. It's there. Get whichever you want."
They all cheered and immediately went to squat around the low coffee table, digging inside the plastic bag. They were shouting at each other, and Jimin and Jungkook were having a tug of war over a certain bag of chips.
Yoongi snorted as he headed to the kitchen to prepare the juice and cookies.
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
Jimin humphed when Jungkook won over the chips. As much as he wanted to snatch it from him, he was too...sadly, he was too short. Deciding to just let Jungkook rot away with the damn chips, he looked around to search for Yoongi but he did not find him. He wished to thank him.
"Hyung, where's Yoongi-hyung?" he asked Hoseok.
"I think he went to the kitchen," the older answered him.
Jimin grunted. "Umm, do you think it will be fine if I offer to help hyung?"
Hearing this, Hoseok flashed an amused but curious smile. "Of course, it is. That turtle accepts any help offered to him because he's too lazy. The kitchen is just right there, then turn right, okay?"
Jimin nodded happily, did not waste any moment and quickly stood up to head where the kitchen was. Upon entering it, he found that it was just as posh-looking as the living room. Everything was also black and white, with a few shades of gray and brown, and very expensive as it seemed. Yoongi had his back on him and looked like he was making some juice.
"Uh, hyung?"
The older boy whipped around so fast Jimin thought he was going to stumble. He did not, thankfully, because he managed to lean on the counter of the kitchen.
"J-Jimin," the older boy stuttered, eyes wide in surprise.
"I'm really sorry that I startled you, hyung!" Jimin quickly said, eyes widening as well.
Yoongi blinked twice, before standing straight and coughing awkwardly. "No, it's fine. You didn't startle me at all."
"Well, do you need any help in here, hyung?"
It took a few moments of staring before the boy finally spoke up. "Uh, you can prepare the cookies for us. The plates are there and the cookie jar is inside that cupboard," he said, pointing to the cupboards that held the plates and the cookie jar.
Jimin nodded at once and did as he was told. He side-glanced at his hyung as he grabbed a wide plate and looked for the cookie jar. His hyung seemed to be nervous, he wondered why.
The silence inside the kitchen was so heavy, broken only by the clinking of glasses and the spoon hitting the glass material of the pitcher where Yoongi was making the juice. Jimin wanted to break the silence and dug his mind for any possible topic.
"Yoongi-hyung, thank you so much for letting us practice here and even giving us food. It's very nice of you, hyung," Jimin said, opening the jar.
He watched in his peripheral vision as Yoongi shrugged. "It's alright, I'm already used to my friends just barging in suddenly without notice."
Jimin chuckled at this, but after that, there was silence again. Yoongi was the one who broke it this time.
"You know that Yoonji would be going to Daegu and staying there for good, right?" his deep voice spoke, making Jimin shiver a bit.
Yes, Jimin did know. He was trying not to think of that actually. It's really depressing that they haven't even met again or even interacted in personal yet she would already be leaving. He guessed that they were really not meant to be. Actually, Jimin had long accepted that he and Yoonji were impossible to end up together.
"I know... We actually talked about that the other day. She'll be leaving three days from now, right?" Jimin said in response with Yoongi's question.
"Uh, yes. I can see that you're friends now."
Jimin smiled at this. "Maybe? I really hope so. I wanted to see her again before she leaves but I think she won't agree to that. She haven't even replied to my texts yet," Jimin said, already too late for him to realize that he was blabbing. He could feel his face heat up. Did he just tell Yoongi that he was disappointed because Yoonji took so long to reply to him?
"Are you sure of that?" Yoongi asked, making Jimin turn to him.
"What do you mean...?"
"Are you sure that she hasn't replied yet?"
"Well, I haven't checked my phone so..."
Yoongi lifted up the tray with the juice and glasses. "You should check it now and see. You look like you're done there, let's head back to the living room now."
And with that, they walked back to the living room. Jimin's smile was so wide when he found that his hyung was indeed correct, Yoonji replied to him.

"Don't move, hyung, or else this won't get right," Taehyung reprimanded as he carefully did Yoongi's eyeshadow.
Namjoon clicked his tongue for possibly the hundredth time already. "I still can't believe you've fooled Jimin. This is not right. Jin would surely be mad as shit if he finds out about this."
Yoongi sighed irritably while having his eyes closed for Taehyung to put make up on. "I already told you the situation, right? We couldn't back out now. Hoseok had already mistakenly gave such a false hope to the kid when he said that Yoonji was my sister. We needed to make a story to the poor kid. Plus, why do you care so much about Jin being so mad. I thought you're already over him?"
In a moment of stupidity, Yoongi texted Jimin the other day as Yoonji and suggested that they hang out before 'she' would go to Daegu. Of course, Jimin agreed quickly. They decided to meet in an amusement park the day before Yoonji would leave, which was today.
The problem there was that Yoongi would need to go as Yoonji, and Yoongi and Hoseok absolutely had zero idea on how to achieve that since it was Taehyung who did all the make up before and the clothes were from Namjoon's cousin. So they ended up telling them about the whole shit that took place and asked for their help.
Taehyung and Namjoon of course, was far from impressed.
"I'm not-!" Namjoon indignantly exclaimed at Yoongi's words. "I'm already over him, okay? So stop teasing me. Jimin is my friend and I'm just trying to say that you shouldn't have done this."
"I know Jimin. We share many classes and he's really adorable. I, Kim Taehyung, am also against this," Taehyung said.
It was Hoseok's turn to sigh now. Yoongi was honestly glad that his eyes were closed and he didn't have to see the judgmental look on their faces.
"But really, Yoongi-hyung, this could've ended faster if you only refrained from texting him more. And for dear's sake hyung, why do you have to meet with him again?" Hoseok said with a voice full of desperation. He was clearly getting so stressed out with all of these.
"Again, I already told you. Jimin was the one who wanted this, plus, this is some kind of closure between him and his feelings for Yoonji," Yoongi spoke, his patience wearing out.
Namjoon snorted. "Closure. Of course. You couldn't even walk and act like a real lady. You'll easily get caught with that, hyung. When he finds out who you really are, though, that would surely be one heck of a closure."
"Shut up, Joon. You're still younger," he replied. He then decided to change the subject. "By the way Tae, what happened with your date with Jeon Jungkook?"
Taehyung's hand froze—Yoongi felt it—before continuing to move after a few beats.
"It was really fun! He kept on stuttering so I really didn't understand half of what he's saying, but you guys know how much I adore rabbits, so yeah, I enjoyed it."
"It went well, then?" Hoseok asked, being the one who set up the date in the first place.
"He kept on cracking jokes that I barely understand. He was also very awkward. And when I asked to hold hands, he refused because his hands were sweaty. It was still cute though, especially when his eyes widens in nervousness. I'm actually planning on calling him later and asking him to be my boyfriend," Taehyung said.
Yoongi was laughing inside his head right now. He would've laughed out loud but Taehyung would probably scold him for not keeping his face neutral.
"Whoa! That's too fast!" Yoongi heard Namjoon exclaimed.
"You really think so? I've never been on a date or in a relationship before so I really have no idea. Should I wait for our second date?" Taehyung said, voice full of wonder as he finished with the eyeshadow and moved to Yoongi's eyelashes.
"That's still too fast. Wait until you get to know each other more before jumping on to things like that," Yoongi advised, feeling like he's such an expert when he himself knew that he was a shit in this kind of things.
"But in the end, you'll just have to follow your heart," Hoseok inserted.
Taehyung was silent and Yoongi could feel the brush that was now grazing his cheekbone, his eyes already done.
"I guess I'll just follow my heart, then," Taehyung murmured moments later. Yoongi was not sure if he was the only one who heard it or not.
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
"So that's what happened," Jungkook said, having finished in his narration of how his date went.
Jimin did the last button of his shirt. He turned here and there, checking if he really did look fine, and more preferably, handsome.
"You really did not get nervous?" Jin asked as he sat on Jimin's bed and watched the younger check himself on the mirror.
"Of course I did not. I acted cool and calm, the chill type, you know," Jungkook bragged.
Jimin snorted.
"That's so obnoxious of you, Jungcock," Jimin said, scowling at the younger boy through the mirror.
"And that's so vain of you, Jimout. You've been looking at your own reflection for a hundred of years now. Why couldn't you understand that your face will never be as nice as mine even if you stare at that mirror for another hundreds of years?" Jungkook retorted.
Jimin only rolled his eyes at this. Jeon Jungkook and his big fat head. These moments always made Jimin question why he's still friends with this haughty kid.
"Aish, you two, stop fighting. Jungkook-ah, don't overdo the coolness, it might make Taehyung think that you're not that serious on him. And Jiminie, are you the one who emptied my gel?" Jin said, addressing the two of them.
Jimin turned to him with a frown, running his hand through his hair which clearly had no gel applied to it. "I did not use even a bit. I've been told that girls prefer soft and bouncy hair than frozen hard strands caused by gel." He then turned to Jungkook who just had a date yesterday. "Jungkookie here though..."
Jin turned to Jungkook with one dangerous raised eyebrow.
"I-... But I was planning to buy you a new one, hyung!" Jungkook sounded like he was pleading. "And I'm actually very thankful with your gel, it made me look hotter than I usually am. You guys should've seen me, I was full of swag."
Jimin wanted to puke.
He was so indignant in behalf of the King of Swaeg. "Seriously? Min Yoongi is full of swag. You, on the other hand, probably almost peed yourself in the middle of your date. I know you, Jungkook!"
"Hey! At least I'm not like you who spent an hour just to perfect your fucking eyeliner!"
"Stop this!" Jin shouted, sighing heavily. "Jiminie, finish your look now because it's almost time. I still need to drive you there, remember? And Kookie, you don't have to buy me a new one. I don't really use gel and I barely cared about that one that you-"
"Was it the gel that Namjoon-hyung owned and accidentally left at your place, hyung?" Jimin asked, and he immediately figured out that it was the wrong question.
Jin only nodded.
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
Jimin licked his lower lip for the twentieth time as he stood by the entrance of the amusement park where he and Yoonji decided to meet. He was fifteen minutes early, so of course it would take Yoonji longer to arrive. Still, Jimin couldn't help but wonder if he would get stood up.
The boy checked his phone. Still no reply from Yoonji. It had been ten minutes already since Jimin texted her that he already arrived and that she didn't need to hurry because Jimin didn't mind waiting.
He licked his lips again.
Messily adjusting his beanie, Jimin couldn't help but think if he looked good in his outfit. It was a pretty simple combination, just ripped jeans paired with a long-sleeved shirt and a beanie. Jungkook said that girls nowadays preferred cute looks so he should just act carefree and should always smile.
It's not like he wanted Yoonji to like him, this was not even a date. It was more of a farewell thing, if anything.
Jimin wondered if-
His train of thought was interrupted by someone tapping his shoulder. Without really thinking much, he whipped around to face whoever it was that tapped him.
He ended up almost dying because his breathing hitched so epically that it felt like he had forgotten breathing altogether. His eyes blinked many times, couldn't believe the sight before him.
Min Yoonji wore a gray turtleneck sweater that contrasted perfectly with her creamy pale complexion. Said sweater was paired with a white skirt and flat sandals. She looked utterly cute, and Jimin was again reminded of why he had an awful crush on this girl when Yoonji slowly smiled at him. He's probably having a high blood pressure right now with how fast his heart was beating.
"H-hey..." Jimin said awkwardly, wanting to look away because his face was blushing hard but he just couldn't stop staring at her face.
Yoonji only stayed smiling, and it was then that Jimin realized that he had stupidly forgot that she was mute, and therefore, couldn't respond to his greeting.
"You l-look really beautiful," Jimin managed as he gave a tentative smile. "Shall we, uh, enter now?"
Yoonji nodded her head and wrapped her hands around Jimin's arm as they headed past the entrance gate. Her presence was quite foreign for Jimin despite the fact that they were pretty close by now with how frequent they were texting. Still, it felt like he had known her for a long time already.
He inhaled the strawberry-scented perfume from the pretty girl beside him.
"Do you want to eat first? My treat," Jimin said, now slowly getting more comfortable.
Yoonji nodded at this and they both headed to a lamb skewer stall because Jimin knew that it was her favorite food. As they were walking towards the said stall, Jimin noticed that she was walking in a very careful and quite awkward way, as if she was trying hard to walk properly or something. Her walk was a strange mixture of a...boyish walk? Boyish and girlish walk.
Jimin frowned deeply. "Is there something wrong with your feet? Does it hurt? You look like you're uncomfortable walking."
The girl glanced sidewards at him and shook her head, her hair bouncing from side to side.
"Are you sure?" Jimin asked again. He didn't want to force her. He'd rather that she rested than go out with him with her feet aching.
They finally arrived at the stall and Yoonji quickly took a seat on one of the stools, Jimin sitting beside her. He noticed Yoonji texting something in her phone, and when Jimin's own phone vibrated, he realized that she was communicating to him through texts.
Yoonji <3: It's nothing you should worry about. I can manage just well. Thank you for asking. :)
Jimin smiled at his phone, then looked up at Yoonji to smile at her. She smiled back.
Another text came, this time it was Yoonji telling him what she wanted to order, and sooner the two of them were deliciously eating lamb skewers.
They rode a few rides, but avoided the ones that were too adventurous like the rollercoaster. At first, he had lied to Yoonji that he wasn't scared of such rides, but then Yoonji grandly—with a smirk that resembled Yoongi's so much—reminded him that he had once mentioned to her how he hated riding those because he was scared as shit. That was quite embarrassing, really.
The two walked around the amusement park after having fun with the rides. They went to many stalls, played mini games, bought two yellow cotton candies, bought other food that poked their curiosity, and even tried the Lover's Tunnel.
Jimin found that Yoonji actually looked very much like Min Yoongi. Her eyes, nose, her pink lips. It was almost like they were twins. Both of them were so painfully attractive and gorgeous. He also found out that Yoonji was quite boyish and had many reactions similar to her brother's. It was not that Jimin had been stalking Yoongi for him to know his reactions. It was just that he had been so curious of the said boy that he couldn't help but gaze at him every now and then. Ever since he was in first year, actually.
Yoonji <3: Today was really fun. Thank you, Jiminie~
Yoonji texted as they slowly walked towards the exit. Jimin was feeling a bit saddened now that it was almost over.
Jimin smiled. "My pleasure, princess."
When they're finally outside the amusement park, an awkward silence filled them as they just stood there on the side. Jimin unconsciously fiddled with the hem of his shirt.
He received another text from Yoonji.
Yoonji <3: I know that you like me, Jimin, but I already like someone else. I'm very sure that you'll make a great boyfriend, though. You're so sweet and kind.
Jimin was surprised that it didn't hurt that much anymore. Probably because he had been warned by his Yoongi-hyung already. He was more focused on the fact that he probably seemed so obvious and damn, that's really embarrassing.
Jimin was about to say something in reply but another text came. He glanced at the frowning Yoonji before reading it.
Yoonji <3: I think it's best if we won't text each other for awhile. But don't get me wrong, I really like you as a friend and I would miss talking to you and reading your corny jokes. It's just that maybe it would be easier for you if we'll both lay low for awhile.
The boy clutched his phone as he read. He was not sure what to feel. Was Yoonji trying to get rid of him? He would've thought it that way except for the fact that Yoonji's frown was so sincere. She might not be able to speak her feelings, but that caring frown was enough for Jimin.
He understood.
It was for his own good.
Yoonji was right.
"I understand," Jimin said, his lips forming a smile that he knew was genuine.
Yoonji smiled back, very cheerfully this time. Jimin was thankful that her frown was gone. She nudged him on the shoulder lightly before turning to her phone and quickly typing a text.
Yoonji <3: You can always text my brother instead, you know. He'll be ready to help you anytime. You could be close friends!
Having read the text, Jimin snorted. Yoongi probably didn't even like him. But the idea of being close friends with Yoongi was not that bad. In fact, it's not bad at all. He knew that behind that cool facade was a very caring person. Jimin was even pretty sure that Yoongi had something to do with Yoonji asking to hang out before she left.
Jimin cracked a funny smile at Yoonji, who raised one demanding eyebrow. "You really think we could be close friends? I really do hope so. Your brother is quite scary at times."
The smiling girl shook her head fondly before giving Jimin another text.
Yoonji <3: I really am grateful that I got to know you, Jiminie. You're such a great friend. I hope we've met earlier.
"Me too."
Yoonji <3: I've got to go now. Thank you!
Jimin nodded, hiding the sadness he felt. He waved goodbye as he watched Yoonji walk away and wave at him. The boy turned, now heading home as well.
He was about to take a step forward when he suddenly felt soft lips planting a kiss on his cheeks. His head whipped around, only to find a winking Yoonji waving one last bye.
So she came back to give him a kiss on the cheek. Okay, then. Not such a bitter parting of ways, after all.
