One of the best love stories. So sweet so warm free from annoying villains.Just the story of a sweet low key guy being hopelessly and completely in love with the girl of her dreams. And his own awkward and innocent pursuit towards her.ooooh my heart is going all mushy from reading this story.just cant wait for more chapters.
A "them feels" story about a socially awkward computer wiz and his crush. Rather fast development time-wise but doesn't feel like it skipped anything important. Feels rather realistic, and I enjoy the few different POV chapters (might be interesting to see POV from characters besides the main 2). So far, very enjoyable and will definitely follow this story in the future!
So I just read all 27 chapters in one go and I really love this story, its very cute and heartwarming to see this shy genius pursue his love despite everything. It's really refreshing seeing a romantic story that doesn't follow a generic storyline. I also really like how all the characters interact with each other. The only thing I would like to read more in future is a bit more depth and on side characters but I get that there isnt much opportunity to do so because the MC doesn't really talk to many people. Anyways, I highly recommend this amazing novel and keep up the good work, author!!!
I very rarely read romance stories. I don't like useless drama, love triangles and the usual clichés. This story, however, is light-hearted, warm and overall an amazing read. It honestly felt like a breath of fresh air. I'll stop here since I suck at writing reviews. I just wanted to thank the author for writing this gem and sharing it here. It is without a doubt one of the best stories I have read in all of my years reading on the internet.
The author has reached 60 chapters and only a few reviews. Come on, guys. Give this book and the author a chance. This is really a heartwarming and lighthearted romance to read. Something to ease your mind and make you laugh. Even though, I wish more action on the MC's side about his being a computer genius. The story itself is worth reading.
I never read any romance. Ever. Until now I suppose. I have sat through more than 300 minutes to binge on this from chapter 1 to Chapter 140 overnight until I finished the story, even though on the verge on fainting since I haven't had much sleep this past week attending my late classmate's wake. This is something very beautiful. The plot writing was done in a way where you would be able to anticipate certain things but at the same time still be surprised on how things unfold. Not the overly romantic and dramatic thpe of romance. This novel gives you it's share of wanting to jump off the cliff and having diabetes from how sweet and pure it really is. If I had to put a thing to relate to it, I think it would be dark chocolate. Its bitter. Yet its bitterness eventually makes you realize how precious and sweet it is. Its simple in terms of story. But this story requires a feat to pull off. Simple stories do not last long in the hearts and minds of people nowadays. Writing one that was tailored to a generation of readers without getting drowned in all the other so called romance is something worth of praise. The depth of flavor on how the author wrote it playes a big part of it all. Combined to her perseverance through the harsh times while she wrote this story, the lonelieness of the fledgelings, the anticipation for support that never came and the concept of witing for people without getting paid much. Mallory-san, this daoist pays his respects. You have written somehing completely without filler, in 500 words or so you forged a storytelling device and made it your own. You did not ruin characters and kept the consistency of their personas. You have made a world out of pen and ink and made it a gem in a society filled with people who do the same. You are awesome, Mallory-san.
This is quite a hidden gem, and I found it impossible to stop reading it once I got started. Luckily for me, I picked it up when there were already 96 chapters available. I was able to keep myself satisfied! I don't normally read these kind of stories... where there is "only" a romance fiction going on. Usually I prefer fan-fiction of established sci-fi or fantasy stories. That is why part of me is expecting our main character to suddenly pop out some superpower or ability and do cool things in the background his love interest isn't aware of. In other words, a part of me is expecting more of an action-adventure kind of novel. That is not happening in this strictly "romance" novel though. Instead, it's all about the story! The world background, character development and plot development is almost entirely believable. My only quibble is that I'm not so sure that a girl who was popular in her previous schools isn't so popular socially in college. Still, I can see how busy she has been. In the story she even explains she has had almost no time for a social life, other than spending time with our main character. He has a chance! I've been very tempted to mark this story as a "hidden gem", because it is one. In fact, once I am done with this review, I will add the tag to the review page. It's definitely a story I'd recommend to others, and I think it would appeal to a wide audience. We all have had that one person who we have admired, or had a crush on, but have been too shy or otherwise prevented by circumstance to approach and share our feelings. This story is well worth the read for that alone, but I've realized another reason why I like this story so much. In a way, this story has a bit of a "Superman / Lois Lane" relationship style to it. The main character is always in the background, supporting his love interest. But she doesn't really know who he is! He hides himself so well, while still revealing bits about himself and his personality. I get the feeling that one day she will know all his secrets, but when that happens he will either lose or gain everything he has ever wanted. I can't imagine the circumstances surrounding that moment, but who knows... maybe she will see him in a "Superman" kind of moment after all.... since he is her hidden hero.
i discovered this book pretty late, and I feel really bad I didn't get to know this book earlier, or ur books actually . I've read so many novels that they hv come to be so predictable to the point i get bored so quickly i got worried Abt myself. Ur books, not only this coz I think if am not wrong this must be the 4th or 5 th novel i've read from u and they all hv a really unique and super interesting plot. Definitely different from my usual and the characters with their development is so so so good and refreshing. I love that they are realistic something more relatable, I hv no issue with fiction or fantasy I look them but all ur books are really a breath of fresh air and i've given myself the task of reading all of them. Thank you for the great novels and I really really really love ur writing.
I don't do reviews often and when I do, it is after having finished the book. This book is one of the great ones. Solid development of the romance. And every other chapter someone must have been cutting onions. And dog food, lots of it! The portrayal of the characters is so well written that you suffer with them, are happy with them or cringe with them. I'll definitely read this book again!
This story is too good, a breath of fresh air among so many, angry CEO and damsel in a distress and annoying villains kind of stories. I accidentally found it and started reading it yesterday and since then I can't stop myself from reading it further. I really suggest everyone to give it a try, surely you will not feel disappointed. Great work Author❤️
Wow I have enjoyed reading novel from the first chapter to the last. I loved Justin dedication and commitment to this relationship and hard work. Emily, Alexa and Sam bring light to his life. The fact that normal is cast upon a normal life of normal people without high society as compared to every novel that I have read that has the MP has the CEO Who is very powerful and aloof. It easy to relate with the novel. Shamefully I wish the author would have given us just one scene of romance😜😜😜😜. Otherwise it was a great book and the grammar and the language is also perfect. Cheers
