Your story so far is great! I'm not sure if there are others with similar story lines but I'm hooked! The Empress's personality is cold and cool, her duty as the Empress stood above all else. Indifferent and strong I really like her character! Though I would like some more descriptions on how the characters look like. A description could add to the cold "power" or impact of the Empress. For example: "The Empress stared out of the balcony coldly. Her once hazel eyes had dimmed to a dark brown. The light from her innocence gone. Behind her, long black tendrils blew in the wind. Her hair looking like a monster due to the violent breeze. Once called 'The Goddess' her current self was now a shell of her former glory. Still, her sharp nose, thin lips and pale skin made her look more like a beautiful fallen Goddess." Something like that? Not sure how you planned to describe her but that's what she looks like in my mind. Some mistakes I found were when you used past tense and present tense. Things like that don't make the sentences flow nicely. There were also grammar mistakes, like missed quotation marks and messed up spacing. I think there could be more clarifying to differ when it's their past or the present. I had to re-read a couple of times to figure it out that it was the past. You should also indent when someone begins speaking, for example: (The Emperor was enraged!!! It seemed that steam was coming out of his ears, his face reddening with fury. "Merlia!!! What rubbish are you saying? You love me and only me. We promised each other to live and die together! We spent so much time together, I fulfilled all your wishes, took care of you for all these years, neglected all your sinful deeds and this is how you repay me?!") I added some words, took out a few and fixed some spacing between commas and words. I also found that "?!" and "!?" have some effect on how the sentence is read at the end. "?!" suggests more of an questioning angry tone Ex: (Bob burst through the bar doors, his face littered with sweat. The once joyous room faded with Bob's sudden appearance. "DAAVEE!" From one of the dark corners a tall man walked to the front, his muffler covering his face. "Bob..." Distaste obvious in Dave's voice, he spat at the floor. "She was innocent! Why did you have to kill her?!" Bob was fuming, his fists clenched to tight his knuckles turned white.) "!?" suggests shock and questioning Ex: (He fell to the floor, behind him Bob's smirking face loomed above. "B-bob! Why?" Dave tried to reach for Bob but his attempts were useless. "Too bad Dave... Seems we part ways here." Before Dave could answer he heard something large sliding towards him. Glowing red eyes filled the darkness around him. "BOB! Yo-!?" Dave's rant was cut short as the red eyes swarmed Dave.) Not sure if that really made any sense.... Anyways, keep it up and I'll look forward to seeing this grow and update!

I was attracted at the book cover and synopsis when I choose to read this, and I was pulled into this book from the very beginning. I adore the female characters in the book, except for the antagonist, of course. The author is really good at storytelling. I can imagine what was going on and felt the characters pain. However, I do hope that there will be more dialogue as well. It was slightly confusing when the story switched from Rosella's to another character's since I was just beginning to get into Rosella's story and was curious to know what will be her fate. I thought it was a bit too sudden. I wouldn't mind it if the story had progress farther. But, since Roman's story is pretty fascinating, I don't mind much. This is a good read. I will definitely let this story in my library.
Lovely. From the summary to the current chapter, I was hopelessly drawn in. I ached when Rosella ached, and my heart went out to her. Strong, dignified and resolute. The kind of Female Protagonist I love the most! Although the story is not too far in yet, I feel overwhelming potential from it, and it was a remarkably enjoyable read. I loved how the scenes drew me in and made me feel like I was there beside them. Just a suggestion, but for the title of 'YOUR BETRAYING LOVE' you may consider changing it to 'Your Betraying Love' instead. Reading it in caps made me feel like Rosella was shouting at me, whereas with the smaller caps it feels more like cutting words and a calm tone instead. Love the story! Keep up the good work, author! :)
boy,i like this. so exciting and i like the synopsis and the way it is written. got me really hooked pls continue writing for the hungry readers. this story is business giving it all the stars bestowed on me by empress rosella ****************************************************************************************i hope that is enough
I scrolled for the next chapter and there was none... I was really sad and said 'That's it? '. 😂 That's how much fun I have in reading this novel. And I am a sucker for palace kind of story. It reminded me of a chinese historical drama 'story of yunxi palace'. The plot was different but i could feel the same vibe from both novel n drama. Writing quality is good. I dont have much to complain as English is basically a foreign language to me. However, I have no difficulty in understanding the story narrated by our author. So, no big issue here. Stability of updating: I'm not going to touch on this as of now for I only knew about the novel today. I'll be sure to check on this later (😂 am joking) coz this will be in my library. Story development: the story kept switching between the present and the past (empress monologue/recollection of past events) and it gave details on the characters'personality at present life. I think it hasn't developed much as we still at the beginning of the story. Character design: from these few chapters i have a rough understanding of the empress. Not much on the other characters. But, I cant wait to know more about our ML. World: I actually dont get what world background is. Someone please enlighten me. 😅 Overall, this novel is a well written novel. Good Job author! 👍👏
I read all the chapters in one go T-T The emotions are beautiful and they make complete sense. Of course, grammar is a bit off but that's nothing to worry about. I love the plot and you can see the clear despair. Lots of mysteries surrounding this Nicholas but thank god he isn't the ML >:0 no cheating bastards allowed!! On the other hand, I can't wait till we find out what the r/ship between Rosella and the ML is :3
I have seen too many Empress, King's and Harem's Chinese dramas, so am not new to this genre. However, the Author of this novel manages to catch my curiosity and interest, with her fantastic story telling. The way she breathed life into each character is intriguing and impressive! A nice historical story worth reading. Worth a 5 star! Looking forward for more chapters to read. Good job Author! Impressed me more!
I must say, I expected something more cheese despite the synopsis, how wrong was I. The story still doesn't have many chapters, but what it has shown is very good. It does not betray the synopsis, as it is really filled with intrigue and politics. If you like historical fictions you should give it a try. Even If you don't like to read romance don't let that dissuade you from reading this novel. The whole romance is surrounded by a solid plot with political schemes and the story of the characters.
Really love your novel. It's different, in the sense that you're building up the background even before anything else. It's heartbreaking to see the sort of betrayal that she had suffered and the life she had to endure. A strong woman who deserves to be appreciated and loved. I hope those who hurt her would die a thousand deaths!
Based on your synopsis and the chapters so far, the story had a lot of potential and I’m looking forward to reading more in the future and seeing the development over time. The only negative comment I have is about the update rate, but that’s understandable and doesn’t detract from the story’s strong points.
