This novel is unjustly buried under 150 of ****ty but rated novels in ranking. I am personally offended, because it took me quite some time to step above my pride and skrolling down through row of novels (when even reading title makes you puke and your eyes closing in unavoidable facepalm). I can swear, I will vote it until it will make into top 50 at least. Why the F I have to dig like a fucking depth digger to find a decent novel while ****tiest ones floating in top 20? this ranking is totally rigged at some point. TL DR:10\10 boys.
I'm pretty mad, I don't now why this novel isn't rated, for God's sake!! The novel is good, yeah maybe the mc is a bit op and has a cheat tha justifies the plot armor but!! The quality of the writing is good!! The author gives a lot of details but its written in a way that doesn't overwhelm you! Whatever!! Just read the novel!!
I love the Background of the Story, the level up system is cool and the skill are ok. However the MC.. the main kill the story, he is so stup!d, he never train or do some plaining he just exist to use plot armor. The hole fact that after chapter 40 he always do thing to blow the minds of others just because he doesnt have common sense of this new world is DUMB.
Author improves imensly as goes on. Each character that Mc meets is unique and fleshed out with quirky personalities and their own agendas. A bit too much politics for my taste, but only a bit. Also I find Sara annoying and kind of useless. Mc grows a lot magically wich is fun to watch. Top 3 original. Plots are well thought out. After editing this is publishing quality, so get it wile you can!
It is an awfully good written story. That is certain. I’d recommend it for the well written dialogue and great setting. Yes, it is one of the few webnovel on this site that I’d recommend; But it is utterly and I mean devastatingly infuriating to see Mike the Protagonist go through his adventure. His idiocy or just utter stupidity couldn’t be more. The mental strength required to not scream at my phone for minutes on end is baffling. Yes. I see the irony in being that invested in a story. Getting back on topic, no sense of self or rational thought can be fun for a while, but a whole story with a protagonist that could be replaced with a stone is just senseless. There are moments of decision making and hard choices, but mostly he’s just drifting along for the ride. In the end I’m questioning this story. Although we see him use his past knowledge in certain ways. His understanding vanishes on most other topics. Thinking about certain tropes and clichés in his mind is refreshing, but only if he also acts on them and brings a new spin on them. Don’t get me wrong; they have a certain charm to them, but that is only the case, if you use them in new exciting ways. To sum things up, I agree that the author put his heart into creating it and it is a good story. That is, if it were published a decade ago. This has been written in this exact style for years on end; hundreds of them are on this platform. A bit more creativity on the character and story development departments would be nice. Finally, I can’t see myself enjoying the same nonsense of jumbled mess further down the road, even if it is a well written piece of literature. P.S.: I don’t count myself as a perfectly fine critic. This review was just because of my frustrations reading this book.
An excellent novel that has a standard of writing well above the average works on this site. The only reason I gave it a 4/5 is due to the fairly common missing word or misspellings that you will see in most unedited works. The chapters are updated slowly but it’s well worth the wait even though I only spent about 3 days of reading to read all available 360 chapters (3years of work). There are some character choices that I don’t love, but within the more recent chapters (past 300) there is a better explanation for why things are happening the way they are even though I still have so many more questions I am dying to know the answers to. I greatly appreciate having access to a great new author especially when the work is completely free. Keep up the good work!
I've been reading this book for a while now, and till this day I'm glad I picked it up. It's an interesting take on a isekai like story. A unique take at that. It's fun to read, not too many characters, no obnoxious face slapping (though a little), and consistent protagonist growth. The only problem I have with it is it's fight usually involve a lot of 'dues ex machina'. Though considering he's supposed to be the prophesied "hero", I am let it slide
