Hidayah Loh is the heiress of the ARK Empire and next in line to be the Matriarch of Country C’s strongest founding family. Basically a royal of Country C. On her business trip in City K of Country M, she was nearly raped by a stranger when Nazreen rescued her. Nazreen, a prince from Country E was on holiday and happened to hear a struggled plea for help from the adjacent hotel room when he was returning back to his room. But to their dismay, City K’s Islamic Religious Department happened to be in the middle of carrying their night raids in that hotel. Both Hidayah and Nazreen was brought to the station and to avoid imprisonment and other negative implications that may affect their reputation, they were forced to marry that very night. Not keen on keeping the marriage to a total stranger, despite him being her rescuer, Hidayah returned to Country C quietly the next day. Leaving Nazreen with a signed post-dated divorce document at the hotel reception. After being forced to marry the woman he saved, he tasked his men to investigate Hidayah. Unfortunately, the next morning, he found that Hidayah had checked out from the hotel and had left him with a divorce agreement. What is he to do? Should he just process the divorce as per Hidayah’s request? In the Dragon Mansion, ballroom.
Soft music was playing in the background. The room's light dimmed making the atmosphere serene and sophisticated. A buzz of conversations from the guests mingling about filled the air. Waiters balancing a tray of drinks or confectionaries grace the floor ensuring that everyone is served.
"There she is... " Kamari smiled as he saw his baby girl walked in from the entrance. Dressed in Louis Vuitton laminated black floral lace dress that falls down to above her ankle, with slits down the legs and black band details creating an elongated silhouette. An adjustable belt accentuates the waistline, while the stark white lining offers a striking contrast with the lace design. She was also sporting a one-of-a-kind-handcrafted Diamond- encrusted heels called 'The Diamond Shoe', designed by Kiwi designer Kathryn Wilson; which were made up of 21.18 carats of quality diamonds, lace, embellishments and a Kathryn Wilson shoe. Her appearance was like the manifestation of a temperamental goddess that overshadows everything else on earth. Her demeanour of a noble attracts all the attention while her smile, though stiff, quickens the heart of many. Both men and women.
As she slowly walked to her father, Hidayah was greeted by well-wishers invited by the company for the night. "Dad, mom, sorry for being late. My hair took longer than I anticipated it to be done." The couple laughed at their daughter. "Where's Hidayat? I don't see him" She gave the surrounding another look for her twin brother.
"He went back to his room to change. Afdlin vomited on him when he was playing with the child," Kamari shook his head thinking back to the incident earlier. His son loves kids too much. Despite his quiet character, he becomes child-like in front of kids. It seems just like yesterday his children are kids themselves.
As moments passed, the family of three walked around meeting all their guests. It was close to an hour before Hidayat returned in a blue Gucci Mitford Wool Mohair three-piece suit accompanied with a light blue Cotton Duke shirt that has an embroidered tiger appliqué on it's pointed collar. He has this domineering presence that was hard to ignore. Despite his young age, Hidayat emanated a charismatic aura even though, characteristically, he was a quiet and reserved person.
Hidayat walked towards his family and texted Jared to start the show. Jared was ARK Corporation's Assistant Director of PR. Been working for the family close to a decade. He was also in charge of all the events that the family held.
"Alright, everyone… I believe both of our Guest-of-Honors have arrived. Let us gather toward the platform. May the Loh family come up, please?" Jared invited all the guest to the front to start the main event for the night.
The Loh family was one of the founder family of Country C, one of the Blue Blood of Country C. Kamari Loh, the youngest of seven had converted to Islam when he married his wife Azizah. A love matrimony between two individuals who met in their workplace. Despite the different culture and social standing, his perseverance and determination had won the Loh family patriarch to name him his successor. Luckily, Kamari's siblings themselves have their own career and businesses that they were not in a competitive relationship to inherit the empire. In fact, for a big old family, the harmonious and supportive bond between each family members; was what makes them the strongest and most respected family in Country C.
The night went well according to plan… the twins had a great time with both family and friends around them. To end the night, the twins and their friends moved to Hidayah's floor on the 5th level of the mansion.
