The best opening chapters I've read so far on this site. A pleasure to read.

Nothing stands out at the moment not sure why everyone's hyping it up. World setting seeming more like insignificant filler atm. Nothings happened and seems generic poor person from far away finds old teacher and learns he has mysterious powers people want to capture him for WOOOOW. This is so original you should copyright it. Just started the novel so I may be wrong but just wanted to give in unbiased opinion coz the comments seem fake as **** at the moment.

I like the fact that there's no big info dump that people call "world building". We're following the protagonist. He just stepped out of a village. Really glad author didn't follow the trend.

I am surprised the MC never asked Master Zhao why exactly are the mages after him.

So, they were going to imprison him for life just because he had some "forbidden realm". Just for this fact alone he should make sure to become as powerful as possible and kill them all.
