94 Mastering the Flying Skill

Zio's time in the academy was better than he expected, he loved having friends again and he became talkative like before when he was just a 12-year-old boy, he would spend most of his time with Jackson and Linkin.

He would practice magic with Linkin and close combat with Jackson, during these two months he improved a lot in these two fields, Asura also thought him a lot about magic and how to not rely on the new methods.

Asura thought him how to properly use magic, not like these people who seem to have got it all wrong, he also warned Zio to not tell others about this because there is something weird about the current system and it could bring trouble to Zio if people found out.

His sword fighting also improved a lot in these two months, of course the teacher thought them sword fighting was very good, but that was not the only reason, Zio got partnered with Korina by the teacher, because of this their relationship also get better.

Korina found Zio more likable and different from others who tried to curry favors from her, Selistia, on the other hand, was very jealous by seeing Zio and Korina getting closer to each other, because of this she also tried her best to get Zio's attention as well.

Another month passed and it was time for the ranking to shift again, in three days, the academy is going to hold the first round of test where they will test the students of the academy based on the subjects they have chosen and the scores that they receive from these tests will be added to their main score which they received after their entrance exam.

And if a student has more points than someone who is ranked higher than them will get replaced by that student.

Zio is currently inside his room looking at his wings, he is now able to use the Wings Of Wind skill, the glowing wings on his back looks majestic and powerful, Zio has still not tried them yet but he could tell that he will be able to use them, he spent so much time learning and perfecting the mastery of this skill.

He wanted to get everything right before using it.

[Finally, I wondered when you will finish learning this!] Tempest said excitedly, he also wanted to see this skill in action.

[Let's test them then!] Asura said.

"Fine let's do that" Zio said excitedly and deactivated the wings, the glowing wings shattered into fragments and the air molecules returned back into the atmosphere, he then walked out of his room and headed towards a remote area where he won't get disturbed by others.

He soon found himself in between a small forest that seems to be grown inside the academy as well.

"Ok, let's do this!" He said and took a deep breath and activated the skill, suddenly the air around him started to move and gather behind his back, the molecules in the air started to glow and started to stick to each other at rapid speed forming fragments which then came together to form glowing blue wings made of the wind itself.

Zio felt light on his foot, he could feel the wings as if they are his own body part and when he tried to move them, they moved on command, he didn't even need to think about it, it was as if he was born with inbuilt reflex to control them.

He then got excited and flapped his wings hard which suddenly caused his whole body to shoot up in the air at extremely high speed, he only left a streak of blue light behind him, Zio felt a sudden gush of adrenalin in his body as he continued moving up through the air and when he finally stopped, he was in between clouds.

He looked down and saw the academy and even from such height, the academy looked massive, this just showed how big the academy really is and there are many things inside the academy that the students don't have access to.

He then looked towards Mount Asura, the majestic mountain that he climbed, and changed his fate, he still couldn't see the top of the mountain at such height as the other half of it is still covered by thick clouds.

Zio flew around a little bit and felt amazing, flying to human is still a dream as they are not built for it, so experiencing flight is one of the best things that Zio ever experienced.

[Let's head back now or you might grab unwanted attention] Asura informed.

Zio nodded and shot back down to the ground from where he took flight, he was about to land hard on the ground on his legs but his wings flapped hard creating massive winds that stopped his fast descend and he smoothly landed on his feet.

[So are you ready to breakthrough?] Asura asked.

"Yes, I am, I think it's time to level up!" Zio said and headed back to his room, he has been holding onto his current level and didn't level up to the next stage because he wanted to master the Wings Of Wind before he did that.

Once he reached his room, he locked it from inside and sat down in the middle closing his eyes, and used the martial method that Asura gave him, as he started reciting the marital method, changes started to take place around him.

The air started to vibrate along with his muscles, Zio started to sweat a lot, his muscles started to twitch and change as well, the cells in his body multiplied but they became smaller in size and denser in weight, even his bones and skin started to go through the same changes.

They became denser and heavier, the energy in the atmosphere started to get chaotic and rushed into Zio's body through his nose and mouth and started to form an energy core inside his heart.

This core is not solid in nature but gaseous but the energy that they contain is very powerful, it was like a galaxy spinning inside his heart, once the galaxy formed a sudden bust of energy radiated out of Zio's body like a shockwave and hit everything inside his room.

Since he didn't have many items inside his room, it didn't cause much damage, and the items he did have like heavyweights were moved from one corner of the room to the other.

Zio finally entered the Energy Manipulation level 1.
