I like how the MC is not perceptive AF like any other chinese MC tropes there. She gave the girl the benefit of doubt. Like really, how accurate can we guess someone's just being a white lotus around us or just being polite? Writing still amazing. Quite slow than what I'm used to, but the details are there.
