WTH webnovel! Another long romance novel that will most likely hit the top of the power rankings? I just checked the raws and apparently this series has over 1.8k chaps in raw. I would rather prefer something short with an actual plot than a whole 1.8k chaps of ups and downs for no reasons. I have to admit I have never ever read a romance novel for more than 300chaps. Do you know why? (maybe because I am a male and can't relate to females) It gets damn repetitive. If you could chose a novel with quality instead of quantity, I would probably actually be able to complete a Romance Novel for once that is not original. I just read a romance novel that I consider to be short yet good on royal road, going back to webnovel, I see another series with plot that is so long and unnecessary that I will probably never be able to remember half of it.

Is this gonna have a bunch of crazy misunderstandings? 'Cause I'm not about that crying everyday life. Secrets are fun and all but if it's like "bringing the nations husband home" I'm bailing. I really am looking forward to it if it's going to be at least a little bit fluffy, so definitely giving it all my star stones or whatever they are. They sympnosis is pretty gucci and I'm hoping I'll like it if it gets voted.
Another story about a woman who swallows all her dignity (why do they call it pride?) and suffering for a forced marriage with an abusive assh*le who hurts her both **icologically and phisically because he's jealous (or whatever other reason he finds justifies his actions) disguised as a charming love story... Sincerely, it makes me want to puke and slap a lot of people out of their hurtfull cliches.
After reducing summary I don't think the story is that promising and interesting to read and I don't have high hopes.. By choosing this novel as next translation.. Their r many other good options out their.. Like # one child Two Treasures :Billionaire Chief good Wife # good morning Mr. President # evil nature husband don't tease Me And many more qidian should translate those..
Honestly I already read some parts of the story but I was looking at the rating and the comments and (this is my opinion and you can hate it as much as u want but I’m saying what I’m thinking) honestly if you hate the genre and the type why are you rating it so low without even knowing. Sure it may be long but some like long stories and some don’t but literally you’re affecting the rating of a book and even tho you may not like ceo aloof modern romance some people enjoy it but basing your rating on that is just awful? Literally I don’t get it what does what you enjoy have to be part of the rating of a book. Literally the book is rated by character design, world background ,story development, stabilty of updates, and translation quality. It isn’t based on what you like and you people haven’t even read it yet how can you judge it just like that. Honestly better to check it out first and read it.
Just read a few chapters so far but the interactions are funny. The male lead is player (recently read so many books where a man is only able to even talk to only one woman; really as if women are not half the world population), but decisive. He doesn’t allow the female lead to be bullied despite not being in a yet. No sign of love but the fights are funny. Love it so far.
