Goose Five
For me this novel isn't really that much i mean there's really nothing new probably a couple of things maybe but all in all there's nothing new about this novel in particular and honestly i would have been okay with that because let's be real it's so rare for us to find a new world building or a new concept with this type of novel. The story line is pretty fast if you ask me, like he'll encounter enemy after enemy he just don't know how to rest. and after defeating that enemy he'll move to another place and have enemies right away like damn let him rest b!tch. for character building there's not much to tell because the only character building that we have is basically the MC the rest are pretty much ready made cabbage. idk man i just feel like the side characters just wasn't as develop as they should bcoz of how fast the events are taking. for romance, im not gonna say much because i might say some spoilers and we don't want that, the romance was just so random there's not even relationship building that was going on, because of some incident boom there you have it romance b!tches. it's not harem so far and i doubt it will be a harem. i know y'all might think that all I've said are bad things that just only bcoz I've read this type of novel before and it's kinda tiring already, when i read novels like this i would always look for a good world building and character development that would at least makes me feel attached to the story. anyway all in all it's an okay novel for me, if you're bored and hΓ ve nothing to read you should check this out maybe we just have different taste in novels or maybe you are new to this kind of genre.
The best part of this novel is its quick flow. Many readers and reviewers have already commented on the lack of Scientific or even Pseudo-Scientific knowledge displayed by the author. The lack is quite glaring, and difficult to ignore. Exceptional perseverance is needed to gloss over the nonsensical 'Scientific' bits. World building should be viewed with astigmatic lenses. Too much focus would highlight the obvious mismatched and illogical details. ... So yes! The novel isn't much, but it can be enjoyed by lightly reading without too much emphasis on details. So the quick flow pacing of the plotlines and 'actions' is a major plus for this novel.
Man this world building is total mesh something he shows China superiority in earth ,that understable as novel is Chinese, but then he goes some random continent as well as as Thier is kingdom and nation ,the hell decide first whether it China or some random wuxia continent he mixed world with wuxia type as he is Chinese he try to show Chinese superiority but in next paragraph he goes back to some random nation I got totally confused
Translator does good work. Praise him. The Work is **** though. While I understand a story has to have a start to grow from way too many people have pits in heads to force clichΓ©d agravating 'plot' threads. The Mc doesn't think like a human. He's egoistic to a self sabotaging insane extreme only to suddenly randomly give a damn. At dumb point. He can't seem to understand on a basic level the ideas of reputation or standardized credentials despite having trained as a doctor and so repeatedly fucks up trying to get hired. Only for the poor people looking for a doctor to faf about in guilt for rejecting him when he looked exactly like a quack and scammed and couldn't answer relevant medical questions. Then the narrative expects us to laugh at them. So agravating. He essentially wasted strategic resources that might have save his family.
Do yourself a favor. Don't even start reading. The characters in this book are such trash that your head will hurt with each piece of stupidity they do that flys in the face of even the most basic common sense. It's clear that the author had some outline for the way things should happen and then forced his characters to follow it without even trying to make the circumstances fit with the decisions the characters make. It's just ugly. Every other paragraph something happens that just makes you rub your head and facepalm at the insanity. Turn back before you suffer through reading this.

Although goose five did a fairly good job with immortal mortal, I'm really disappointed with this book. It completely lacks direction, I can't relate with the plot or logic, the mc personality lacks depth and doesn't leave a lasting impression. The plot would have been great but it was rushed and there's still a lot of things to explain like, why do cultivators need planes, how come a sixteen year old is the greatest doctor in the entire kingdom. What kind of person expresses grief by ransacking is own corpse so wantonly and why would a rift just suddenly appear after a "rich" kid was digging herbs and found a rock which makes him get struck by lighting. IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!!!!!! ππ«π€¬ππ? evaluation: TRASH!
While I definitely recommend this book to other readers, I would recommend it to older teenagers, mainly because it will resonate better with them. The writing is tame enough that younger teens could also read it, but most of the characters are adults or on the verge of *****hood. Older readers would take the most from it since they can not only relate, but they may also better pick up on and appreciate%
I really love this novel! It is quite fast paced -which i like-, the translator rarely misses an update, while the quality is really good and has shown improvement steadily. As for the novel itself, there is not much of a character development going on. For the MC yes but not for anyone else. So many characters are left behind. They may apear radomly as well so we get a sneak pick on what they have been up to, but the (chapter) gaps get bigger as the story develops. The same goes for world building. Not many details -which i ironically like- just enough to get you excited but by the time the MC moves on you still haven't discovered even a small part of a place. That can be the result of the fast pace the author is writing to get the interest going. I am quite concerned on how it is going to end. It reminds me of another novel development-wise and a second one world-building wise. We will see! All in all, it is a great pick if you like fast paced plots, a quite powerful MC and do not mind the world and character development. Oh, i have read up until 648 if anyone wonders. Please be patient when you start reading it- 100ish chapters at least if i remember correctly-. It gets better!
