You hate to see it. Wonder if Lanie will try to redeem herself and try to join the Larkinson clan after a period of self reflection/action. Now the 2 Expert pilots have to join a new organization. Wonder if we will hear from them again. Would be crazy to see the heavy artillery expert mech pilot join an organization that fights the larkinsons later down the road. Like maybe the Ace pilot that’s trying to bring back his awful father back to life.

From this day forward, the names of Taon and Lanie Larkinson will be slashed from the Holy Book

Don't care about Taon, but it's a shame about Lanie. If she wants to redeem herself and try to rejoin the Clan, there's an easy way to do it!! She just has to enlist in Davute's military and persuade Ark to take her into his division, which is largely made up of branch clansmen!! Ideally, after a few battles, she will have earned an invite back into the fold.

Oh exile. Nice it prevents further discontent and there’s a clear precedence of what happens if expert pilots lose control. I feel sorry for Lanie though, but her obsession to kill Taon is just the start.

I don't like it. It's not even really a punishment for Taon because he'd have probably left anyway. Gonna miss Lanie. Real shame 🫠

I kinda hope Lanie can redem herself ans doesn't go crazy against the Larkinsons. as for Taon... ehh he murdered a living mech, the fact he is alive is only due to the laws of Red Humanity

While it might technically be the right decision according to their laws and such, I can’t help but think it is incredibly shortsighted and dangerous. Taon has become an expert pilot with Solus gas abilities. He had proclaimed Ylvaine first and foremost a Gale God that must be eliminated along with and other “false Gods.” The Larkinsons have so many close relations with these likely targets that he is garuanteed to become their enemy.
