Out of this whole battle, I only really found the ace mechs battle worth reading. Everything else has fallen pretty flat for me. It's a shame cause I really love this novel. I hope it picks back up again soon. Maybe cause the focus has been away from ves i dont know.

Where Mars and Reginald are all proof of Gloriania theories .. i feel like shield of sammar and jannzi are best proof for Ves' theories. Both have gowrn a lot with each other. Would be funny for one expert pilot he doesn't like to be his destiny for advancing to Senior !

you'd think that by thia point someone at the gauge dynasty would figure that the mta probably has a large incentive to keep ves alive as they had bumped him up to a 6th tier galactic citizen and given we know he is the creator of a proven method to visibly increase breakthrough chances, no way they will ever let him die if he truly was in danger, this together with his track record of continuously developing new methods in every new engagement should make someone think "wait, if he is already this much of a pain when he is still a journeyman, then we're finished once he becomes a senior or master in the future, since the mta most likely wont watch a tier 6 citizen die, we wont be able to kill him no matter what!"

Huh... it's the MECH who really wants some "pew-pew" options and not Janizi altering her Expert Obsession. Ok - maybe Ves's insane idea to craft a mech personality to "fix" Reggie wasn't as outlandish an idea as I thought. I mean he already did that for Superior Mother and Vulcan. Reggie was simply too powerful for it to work. Ves has to be stronger or catch them earlier.
