44 Her biggest supporter

She uses spare of her time to practice her presentation until the meeting eventually starts. To her surprised, she saw a familiar face in the meeting room. Taking the chance of nobody arrives yet, Xia Sha takes the seat across that person and narrowed her eyes.

"Why are you here? If you don't know this meeting is private." Xia Sha said coldly.

Pang Ze Tian keeps her 'graciousness' and smiles. "I'm one of the board director members now." She smiles before, gasps exaggeratingly. "Oh, I forgot to tell you. Your father decided to transfer 2% of his share to me. That's why I'm attending today meeting."

Father Xia has threatened to give Pang Ze Tian shares in Xia Corporation if Xia Sha remains staying outside the house. To his surprise, his stubborn daughter did not care!

Xia Sha smiles quickly turns into a confused face when she sees another man standing behind her grandfather Xia. She furrowed her eyebrow but speak of nothing. However, she was deeply disappointed when grandfather Xia told her to move the seat.

She gasps but quickly moves her seat to the empty seat next to her. Grandfather Xia sat on the head chair while the familiar young man occupies Xia Sha's seat.

But Xia Sha gains back her composure and forced her lips to smile as the meeting moderator starts the meeting.

Xia Qi Fei's face looking very dark as he almost glaring with hatred at grandfather Xia. It was until Xia Sha's turn to present her project; father Xia's face turns a little bit better.

The man who 'steal' her seat body posture was extremely stiff. He, who tried his best not to look at Xia Sha couldn't help but turning his head slightly when Xia Sha confidently presenting her project.

"Good morning Ladies and gentlemen. My name is Xia Sha, I'm the current COO of Xia Corporation and I will share my proposal regarding the next Xia Corporation's project. FUTURIA HOTEL

Grandfather Xia looks interested while father Xia did not hide his proud face at all. He even smirked a little at grandfather Xia, who seems to act like he did not catch his little gesture.

She went on explaining the numbers before poking to her main idea.

"This is why I feel we need to bring back our spirit to be that impressive and leading company. Futuria is the answer to that. Futuria is a breakthrough that will bring lift Xia Corporation to a whole next level."

Futuria Hotel is basically a hotel that provided a five-star service, but instead of using human resources, it uses a robot. The proposal was detailed and very well written that most of the board directors take an interest in the project.

Added with Xia Sha's good public speaking, she really makes father and grandfather Xia proud. After she ends her presentation, grandfather Xia clapped his hand the loudest and smiles warmly to her. Xia Sha returned the smiles and went back to her seat.

"I really like the fresh idea from Ms.Xia, it's indeed the breakthrough that we need for today's society." One of the directors said.

Xia Sha gives him a polite 'thank you' nod and look at her grandfather. Grandfather Xia knew Xia Sha was asking for his feedback. He clears his throat before playing with his classic fountain pen.

"Not bad, we can work on this project."

Xia Sha smiles rose instantly. Before, her face was beautiful enough that the man beside her couldn't resist the temptation to keep looking. But now that she smiles and her eyes sparkle, he was mesmerized.

Suddenly he regretted coming with grandfather Xia. He knew the moment grandfather Xia reveals the reason for his attendance today, he would never have that beautiful smiles again.

The director discussed and asked Xia Sha several other matters and Xia Sha could give them an answer that satisfied them. They quickly agreed to make the project as Xia Corporation's next prioritized project.

"Alright, it settles then. The Futuria Hotel will be Xia Corporation's top prioritized project for next year. Next, we will move on to the next topic." The moderator said and gestures to change the slides. But grandfather Xia raised his hand to stop him.

"Wait, I have got a little request." He said with his usual deep voice.

"Mr. Xia…" Father Xia called him out, coming more like a warning to Xia Sha's ear. Grandfather Xia looks hesitant. He looks at Xia Sha with a conflicted gaze before moving his sight to the young man beside her, Xiao Zhan.

He looks determined afterward as he said, "I want the person in charge to lead the Futuria project is Mr.Xiao Zhan."

Xia Sha gasped and look at her grandfather with a shocked face. She almost shouts out "Grandfather!" when grandfather Xia shot her the warning gaze. She holds his breath and clenched her hand.

The board director looks confused, but no one dares to refute grandfather Xia's word. Except for Father Xia who looks angry.

"I'm afraid we could not fulfill your request, Mr. Xia. The person who arranges the proposal is Ms. Xia and I believe she is the most suitable person to lead the project."

Father Xia's word did not affect Grandfather Xia at all. Looking all professional he smiles and turns to the line of board director, furrowed his eyebrow a little when he caught Pang Ze Tian's face.

Xia Sha lowered her head, holding back the tears on her eyes. Grandfather Xia looks at her in a complicated mood before showing a fake smile to everyone.
