Janet walked through the corridors of Guy's, her feet leading her towards the morgue. She pushed the double doors, and it swung back and forth creaking as she passed through. Janet tensed at the sight before her, and she almost screamed at the top of her lungs, as her heart pounded against her ribcage. Flabbergasted.

Sam looked at the familiar blue-haired morgue technician; she cracked a smile at her behind her face shield and mask. "Janet, good morning!" she greeted almost too spirited, at 2 in the morning while holding a human heart.

"What's the craic, Janet?" Levi said behind his masked face, a steel basin in hand.

The two stood across each other, masked, gloved, and apron on, between them is a corpse, cut open. Levi took the heart from Sam and placed it inside the basin filled with ice.

Willing to calm her heartbeat,

"What are you-- doing?"Janet stuttered. "Levi's helping with my autopsy," Sam replied casually. Janet's eyes shifted from Sam standing next to an open corpse and Levi, the blond noticeably engrossed at the human organ ignored her existence. Sam sent Janet a confused look, wondering what she was doing there. While Janet, as well, wondered what the two were doing together.

She wondered, when did it start? Was it after the party? Have they been spending time since then? And over...dead bodies? Janet racked her head, completely forgetting why she came there in the first place.

"Is there something you need, Janet?" Sam asked, halting all questions running through the blue-haired woman's synapses, including Levi's fascination with the organ. Levi looked up from the heart and onto Janet.

"Ah...yes, I mean no. Sorry. I'll go now." Janet stammered, earning a concerned look from Sam as she exited the morgue.

"Must be knackered," Levi commented, returning to his place across the redhead. Sam stuck her gloved hand inside the cadaver's gut, "Most likely, we've been busy lately." she agreed, recalling there had been an influx of death that month.

It was four days later when Elle stood at the double doors of the morgue; she came there to have Sam sign some papers. Behind the door, she heard Sam's voice talking, Elle halted mid-step, leaned in and listened.

"Well, stick your hand in and feel this." she heard the redhead say.

"Here?" Elle frowned, it was Levi Jackson's voice. She wondered what he was doing there as she continued to listen behind the door.

"Not there. Here. Do you feel it?" annoyance edged the redhead's tone.

"Gobshite, woman. I'm giving it socks already!" the blond responded, his accent sounded thicker, Elle noted.

"It's your hands! It's too big. Stick it in deeper." the redhead instructed.

Elle's mouth widened in a gasp, scandalized gripping the folder harshly in her hands.

"Aye, now I feel it. It's slippery," he responded.

"Be concerned if it isn't," the redhead advised. Elle shook her head, deciding that she had heard enough, she barged in shouting, "WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING!?" the doors swung back and forth behind her, the creaking sound filling the morgue. Levi and Sam gazed at her, wondering if she's gone mental based on the expression on her face.

Elle gazed back at the two in bewilderment, Sam and Levi stood next to each other, both right hands inside a corpse's gut. Both wearing plastic disposable long-sleeved aprons, gloves, and protective glasses.

Sam looked at her assistant in concern, wondering if she had overworked again. While Levi scrutinized every inch of her, reading her.

"What are you doing?" Elle asked again, almost in a whisper. "I'm showing him the spleen," Sam answered like it's the most obvious thing in the world. "Is Art driving you crazy again?" Sam asked, concerned. Elle had complained about their new assistant's antics, and it has driven the woman into the brink of madness.

Levi remained silent as Elle gave him the stink-eye.

Elle shook her head, "No. Never mind," she answered Sam. She showed Sam the file, "I just need you to sign this." Elle added, turning and placing the paper on an empty Examination table.

Sam nodded, turned to Levi, and said, "Okay. Let's take a break, Levi." then removed her hand out of the body. Levi narrowed his eyes at Elle, clearly displeased with her interruption, but he did not say a word.

Sam disposed of her gloves and washed her hands aseptically in the sink. After drying her hand with a paper towel, she took the pen, Elle handed her, and she started to read the paper.

Levi continued to 'feel ' the organ as Sam said, but as he realized, she had easier access, the advantage of having smaller hands he thought.

Elle watched him, eyes narrowed suspiciously at the blond man, and Levi knew this. Levi knew she didn't particularly like him; she didn't particularly dislike him either. But she found his constant presence around her employer somewhat threatening. Why? he doesn't know.

Levi had simply observed that Elle is overprotective to her employer.

And knowing full well that Sam, valued Elle like he did Marco. He knew that he had to try at least to be in a civil relationship with Elle.

"I see your date was a success," Levi said. Elle's eyes widened, surprised. "How did you?" she asked. She didn't tell a living soul, and he could tell, and she has no idea how. 'He can read people', Sam explained to her before.

Sam turned towards the two to her left, "Not fair! Why hadn't I been informed about this fantastic news!?" she complained in mock hurt, then went back to reading. Finding nothing amiss she signed it.

Elle approached her, took the file and pen in her hand "You were busy," she replied, earning an unconvinced snort from Sam.

Sam watched the brunette's retreating back as she grabbed a new pair of gloves. Seeing Elle pass through the door, she turned to Levi.

"Did she get some?" she whispered. Levi scoffed at her inquiry, "No... but maybe tonight, she'll get lucky." He said grinning widely at her, and Sam giggled excitedly at the thought.

Sam faced the body on the table; Levi stood across her. "Do you think it's serious?" she asked.

Levi shifted his eyes from the body to the redhead, "Why do you ask?" he asked, brow raised.

"Well...if it is..." Sam started, pursing her lips, trying to hide a grin forming.

"I, as her employer am inclined." She continued.

"Inclined? you're a poxy bleedin' liar." Levi scoffed incredulously.

"Yes!" She insisted, eyes wide.

"To invade the man's Privacy," Levi said. "Oh please, you built a business out of it," Sam said, laughing after.

"Don't get caught."

"I never get caught, Levi." She finished with a smug smile on her face.
