100 Days With Mr Damon

Damon paused as he flickered his pen with the tip of his finger, ‘200 days', he said. ‘40'. Ana countered. ‘100'. ‘No'. A sigh escaped his lips as she was starting to trigger his nerves, ‘100 days Anastasia, it's that or nothing'. ‘My name is Ana', she grunted as she hated the way he called her full name, there was silence in the room for a moment and she pursed her lips before agreeing to the deal, ‘Fine.....I'll be your wife for 100 days'.

Sleepover

Book One—(Chapter 15)

(sleepover)

Ana was full from dinner and almost belched when she went into the car that was ready for her. A lifetime of burgers and junk food made her realize how much she craved for a five star meal—Smaller in size? yes, did it make her feel like a special woman? also yes. She stretched her arms widely, yawning and in need of a good night's rest as lying incessantly drained her in ways she couldn't understand when Damon came in and sat next to her.

She scowled, 'What are you—'

'You don't want my parents to think I'm letting my bride go home unchaperoned do you?'.

She pursed her lips as he was right, took in a deep breath as she relaxed her back against the car seat when the sudden reverie of him calling her an orphan sparked in her head, 'Before it escapes my mind....why the fuck would you call me an orphan?!'.

'It just came out I'm sorry,' Damon sighed deeply, 'I just don't want my parents knowing—'

'That I'm from the slum and my mother owns a diner in the dirtiest places of new York. You've already made it clear that I'm from a scummy background Mr Wyatt, there's no need to rub it in my face'. She rolled her eyes.

Damon remained silent as his every plan to have a sincere conversation with his fake fiance always ended up in disaster, and he couldn't blame her after blatantly calling her home a slum which was something he always regretted. He sighed deeply as the car zoomed off, pursing his lips as it became awkward by the minute from the pure silence between the both of them.

Finally they got to the diner, Ana didn't waste a second as she stormed out immediately while Damon took a deep breath before coming out the other side. Unfortunately Estella spotted the both of them and before Ana could give him a signal to leave immediately, her mother beckoned him to come over with a smile on her face.

It was an impending disaster waiting to happen with panic written all over Ana's face as Damon would finally be introduced to her mother and sister. Their hearts would be broken if they find out it was all a lie when she didn't give him a heads up, he was a man with no effort of control on his mouth—now he was going to get the both of them in trouble.

'Would you like our diner's special Mr Wyatt', Estella excitedly ushered him into an empty seat, ' It's our famous ribeye steak burger. I'm sure you'll love it and it's free of course'.

'Ohh no ma'am', Damon placed his hands over hers as her ambience was way warmer than expected, most women would be wary of a man like him for their daughters, 'I simply can't let you—'

'Nonsense!! Emily get this men our diner's special and make it extra delicious'.

Ana rolled her eyes as she placed both hands on her mother's shoulder, 'Mom Mr Wyatt said he doesn't want anything, you're doing too much'.

'Where are your manners Ana?', Estella frowned, 'You don't expect me to charge my son-in-law to be for a meal do you?'.

She opened her mouth in protest but shut it right back as Emily came in with the order, her little sister had a plastered smile on her face almost like she had a crush on Damon who was all surprised from the warmth and kindness he was receiving. Estella sent the rest of her customers who lingered around and closed the shop, ignoring the grumbling and the cursing under the breaths of the dissatisfied men who wanted to finish watching their free football game.

It was all happening too fast in Damon's eyes. The wonderful burger offered to him with a side of cheap diet coke which he didn't mind, as much as he enjoyed his fine dining meals.....he would always choose a burger over it any day—he would always choose Estella's burgers. She asked him questions about how he fell in love with her daughter, questions which he answered just the same way Ana answered his parents—he was way more smarter than she gave him credit for, Ana thought as she watched from afar.

'Your burger is to die for Mrs Levi—'

'Oh no just call me Estella', Estella laughed, 'You're soon to be marrying my daughter which is something I never thought I'll be saying'.

Ana drawled, 'Mom...'.

'What?', her mother shrugged, 'For a moment I thought you'd never get a boyfriend or even get married judging from the way you're always hating men'.

'She doesn't hate men', Damon laughed nervously as he placed a hand over Ana who threw him a dirty look, 'She loves me specially'.

What in the world was he doing?, Ana almost scowled but then she remembered she was playing a role and forced a crooked smile, 'Y...yeah he's....he's right'.

'This is so cool, I can't wait to have you as my brother-in-law Mr Wyatt'. Emily giggled like the teenager she was, standing in front of the man she had a crush on. Damon felt uncomfortable with the way the fifteen year old continued to flirt with him, until he brought a hundred dollar note and handed it to her to go out with her friends.

She took the bait, with pure happiness, begging her mother to sleep over at a friend's house. Estella reluctantly agreed since she didn't want to look like a strict mother in the eyes of Damon who had obviously charmed her. Ana felt like she was going to throw up at any moment, not from guilt but from disgust....She couldn't believe how her mother could be so endeared to somebody like Damon Wyatt.

Damon checked his watch and was shocked to see it was past midnight, the driver left hours ago on his command and now it was his turn to leave, 'I think it's time for me to leave Mrs Levinson'.

'Yeah it's really late'. Ana who was tired of his presence agreed as she rose to her feet to escort him out.

Estella shook her head as she spread her arms wide to stop him from leaving, 'You should sleepover'.

'What?'. Ana and Damon both panicked in unison.

'You should sleepover Mr Wyatt', She repeated, 'After all you're both adults and you're soon to be married. You should sleep over'.

She walked away, waving back at the fake couple who were both transfixed on the spot, dumbstruck on what to do. Damon turned to face Ana with a mischievous smile on his face, as much as it was a sudden offer....a part of him wanted to see Ana's room, he wanted to sleep on her bed.

'Don't even think about it', Ana warned him with a finger, 'Call your driver and get out of my diner now!'.
