Chapter 17

"Hey Demon King!! Shall we get to our next fight?" Kanji Igari say's as he flexed his muscles trying to intimidate Kai.

Kai turning around to face Igari noticed that he was wearing a black briefs commonly seen in wrestling matches.

"Shouldn't we wait for them to start the match?"Kai replied as Igari closes the distance to a meter between them.

"Nah, I got permission to start it"Igari say's as he beckoned to Tokugawa.

Kai turning his head towards Tokugawa saw him nodding at him, returning his focus to Igari "well then, what are you waiting for?"

Igari hearing Kai looks left and right and started shouting.

Kai confused on why he started shouting tilted his head slightly, soon Igari started to announce the fight himself, promoting himself and Kai through words that Kai was pretty sure you'd hear only in WrestleMania or in local wrestling shows.

Kai looking around the arena, he could see the audience biting into it, soon starting to chant "FIGHT!!" "FIGHT!!" "FIGHT!!"

Igari then started to run around waving his hands around making the audience chant even louder.

After that Igari then go to the side of the arena opposite of Kai and started yelling to pump himself up ' What is this? dragon Ball ' Kai couldn't help but smirk at Igari's antics.

Pumping himself up Igari then look at Kai full of determination, Igari then charges Kai at full speed intending to grapple with him.

Seeing this Kai used his Gott-tötter Steinbohrer on his left and decided to just slap the living soul out of Igari who's charging at him while yelling.

Igari braces himself as he saw Kai left arm change all of a sudden, he's still intending to grab Kai and then throw him to the ground.

As Igari approaches Kai, He proceeded to slap Igari with his left which left Igari consciousness blacked out as Igari's head almost did a 180 degree spin almost killing him.

Kai looking at his steaming and almost smoking left hand ' I think i almost killed him ' Kai thought as he then turned his attention to the sprawled out and a bleeding Igari, due to his teeth who got destroyed and splintered now imbedded on the side of his cheeks making it look like he got shot by a shotgun shrapnel.

Tokugawa whose face immediately turned from amusement to a worried frown immediately ended the match and had his people send Kanji Igari to the Hospital.

Kai who's still looking around at the audience who's obviously disappointed muttered to himself "I guess today's the most disappointing match to ever happen"

Smirking Kai left the arena to join his parents, girlfriend friends,Baki, and Gouki who's still shaking his head at Igari performance to the fight.

[Next day]

POV Igari

"ugghhh, where am i" Igari muttered as he look around, although blurry he could see that he was in a white room, craning his neck even if it hurts he could see an IV and a person who addressed him "ohhh, your already awake Mr. Kanji, do you have any recollection of what happened last night?"

"Ugghhh, I was in a match against the Demon King and uhh there's nothing"Igari replied to the person who looks like a doctor.

"I see, everything looks alright Mr. Kanji, I'd say you're lucky Mr. Kanji we managed to repair your dislocated and fractured jaw, we just had to check if you got any amnesia due to severe trauma to your skull but since you could recall all that happened last night, I'd say again you're pretty lucky" The doctor say's as he took a second look at Kanji Igari vitals then leaving the room.

"Looks like I'm too old for this" Igari muttered as he took a nap.

POV Kai

In the courtyard of Tokugawa two people could be seen grappling with the bigger one shouting instructions to the smaller guy.

"Get your guard up!" Kai yells instructions to Baki as he pummels him in a mounting position albeit the force of the punches are weak to not exhaust Baki it was still strong to leave bruises.

Baki who's on the ground trying to position his legs and deflecting Kai's punches with his hands was having a hard time, as Kai was intercepting his every action to stop the barrage and making it hard to get his guard up by occasionally shifting and pressuring his legs.

Kai having enough called a break for Baki to take a breather and also for him to think about what else to teach Baki, since Baki was absorbing all of his teaching, the only thing holding him back was his diminutive physic which was pretty much useless in a fight, Kai wasn't even sure how Baki was winning his fights in the Mangas the only thing he's sure was that Baki got plot armor and a whole lot of bullshit factors that somehow favors him.

One thing that Kai would credit Baki was that he was stubborn and persistent that would make John wick proud.

after taking lunch Kai called Baki for another bout of grappling and he guided Baki through the series of steps to ensure his opponent won't get out of his hold and they continue until the time of his 3rd day match.

[Tokyo dome Underground arena]

Prepping himself up by stretching and testing the flexibility of his limbs Kai was a little bit excited about this match since Katsumi Orochi was the son of Doppo, he's pretty sure this guy was good although Kai wasn't sure if this is the arrogant and cheeky or the silent strong one, but nonetheless Kai was sure he'd be stronger than him at this time.

Kai deciding to wear a Karategi and to only use Kaiwan style of [The Devil's Lance] in the match to test how good Katsumi's karate at this point, since from what Kai knows he's a 3rd Dan in karate.

Skipping his steps as he heads towards the arena and followed by his own entourage composed of his parents, girlfriend, and friends.

As Kai entered the arena he could see Katsumi Orochi, standing at 186cm also wearing a Karategi that seems to small for him since Kai could see the bulging muscles threatening to rip out of the clothes.

With the usual announcer and the referee warning of no weapons Kai and Katsumi faced each other with Kai towering at 195cm he's a full head taller than Katsumi who had a face laced with determination.

After getting to the their side the both of them took their stance with Kai taking the Sanchin-dachi while Katsumi taking the Zenkutsu-dachi.

As the gong sounded the start of the match Katsumi quickly run at Kai who's slowly moving forward, Katsumi firing his first Seiken which soon turned into a barrage of Karate straight punches,Kai slowly smiling since this attack is on a new caliber higher than his past fights since he could notice the precision and purpose of each punch that is meant to be unblockable, using Sanchin of the Kaiwan style he methodically blocked each one while sweeping aside the more dangerous attacks.

Katsumi noticing that all of his attacks are getting blocked and swept aside by Kai's sweeps decided to change his mode of attack to Ippon-ken for more damage even if it's blocked it will wear the defender down, Kai who felt the new sharpness of Katsumi's attacks felt even more excited which resulted in his skin taking a light purple hue, deciding to sneak a punch while Katsumi was in the middle of unleashing his left Ippon-ken Kai was surprised that Katsumi had managed to block it using his Kick killing scissors technique.

After blocking Kai's attack Katsumi then took a hold of Kai's right wrist which was extended due to Kai trying to sneak a punch, taking a grasp of Kai's other arm Katsumi rears his head and tried to headbutt Kai to his surprise Kai was also rearing his head, unable to stop his head from slamming into Kai who's forehead is also rapidly approaching Katsumi braced for the impact then it all turned into black.

Kai was dazed for a moment after both of their foreheads collide which Kai made a quick decision of using the Hammer of Burma technique although it's not full powered headbutt due to how quick it is Kai could still feel the impact both of them had caused, taking a look at his opponent who's lying straighter than a plank, Kai could see that he won the exchange while Katsumi had a good battle instincts and good decision making he didn't took into account that his opponent could match and overwhelm him in the same move.

Taking a look at the audience who by now was cheering endlessly, he turned to Tokugawa who's clapping and pronounced me winner, "I guess they're entertained" Kai muttered as he exited the arena and headed to the locker rooms with his family, girlfriend and friends.

POV Tokugawa

At first I was in a joyful mood since I could see that despite the overwhelming odds, Doppo's adoptive son was actually fighting the Demon King in a stalemate even if the Demon King was only blocking and sweeping his strikes I could see that Katsumi was straining the defenses of the Demon King moreso when he blocked the sneak punch the Demon King used against Kōshō Shinogi, But alas he was defeated in the same move that he used.

The impact was immense that it made a deafening sound with the sand of the arena making a crater in the middle of their clash.

Although the winner was the Demon King Katsumi earned respect as a martial artist that fought the Demon King in a clash of foreheads.

POV Doppo Orochi

As I stand beside my unconscious son I felt pride at seeing my son trying to fight and match the monster known as Demon King.

as a father and a mentor i couldn't ask for more, "let's go to my house" i barked at the paramedics who's confused "sir, he may have suffered an injury, he'll need medical attention" one of them replied to me, I answered "he's just taking a nap, no need to fuss and worry about, now let's go to my house!"

the paramedics who's cowed by Doppo's demands immediately complied while Doppo was musing to himself "I'll have Natsue cook his favorites as soon as we got home"

POV Kai

Waiting and having a snack at the locker room , my parents having bought tons of takoyaki,yakitori,ikayaki, and crepes at the street stalls telling me how wonderful and delicious Japans streetfoods is.

eating my 4th Yakitori Alexandra told me "Hey baby, after this fights, I'll have to return back to New York, my mom's a little bit worried"

"Sure, I'll have the Jet prep after this match, Hey Anastasia and Yui you staying or going with Alexandra?" Kai replied as he keeps chewing his food.

"Yeah, I think we have enough of Japan, Right Yui" Anastasia answered with Yui agreeing with a couple of nods as she was chewing some takoyaki.

"What about you? Mom Dad?" Kai questions his parents.

"Hmmm , we will be staying here for a while to supervise our investment, have your friends use the Jets son, what about you?" Frederick says to Kai as he ate a strawberry crepe.

"I'll stay here for a while, I want to meet a lot of people while I'm still here"Kai replied to his father.

"Awww, you won't be coming with us?" Alexandra pouts cutely as she comes begging to cuddle with Kai.

*Come here, I'll be back as soon as possible, alright" Sliding his arm over Alexandra Kai kisses her forehead.

As they sweetly feed each other, a staff came telling Kai to get ready since the match was in 5 minutes, releasing himself from their tight cuddling Kai stand and change into his trunks with handwraps, wearing a Karategi was very cumbersome and not his style he just wants to goad Katsumi, but since it didn't work but ignored due to how serious Katsumi, there's no use in wearing the uniform.

Stretching and warming himself up Kai was watch by his entourage with his father looking proud, his mother worried, Alexandra confident, Anastasia excited alongside with Yui.

Entering the arena Kai could see his opponent Kengo Misaki a monk focused on his martial arts, from what he knew he's deeply proficient in both striking and grappling,Kai was excited since Kengo only appeared once in the anime and mangas, how strong is he really Kai wondered.

with the usual warning of the referee of not using weapons and the anything is allowed both Kai and Kengo took to their side as the Gong sounded.

Kengo having watched all of Kai's fights was wary of him and doesn't approach him instead slowly circling him looking for an opening.

Kai watching Kengo like a hawk decided to adopt a Southpaw stance and fired a probing jab at Kengo.

Kengo having seen the super fast Jab coming at him dodges and fired a left punch followed by a Four stage Kick technique at Kai chest.

Kai quickly drop and done a sweep with his legs as Kengo lifted his legs and fired his kicks missing his head by a few hair width.

Connecting and toppling Kengo who's surprised, Kai quickly tried to grapple Kengo, who noticed the surging body of Kai also tried to counter his grapple by trying to hook his right arm under the leg with his left in the hugging the midsection.

Kai who saw this development thought ' time to bust some big brain move ' quickly maneuvered his legs and arms to a Gogoplata submission locking my shins down Kengo's throat then lock my hands behind his head and pull down straining Kengo's neck against my shins suffocating him.

Kengo seeing this turn of events couldn't believe it, he was trapped and couldn't move more on he was running out of breath, Buckling and trying to get free out of the hold Kengo was tightening the noose as he slowly blacked out due to lack of Oxygen.

Kai feeling that Kengo was no longer moving and turning blue, He released him as Tokugawa was leaning to the barrier to see what's happening, seeing that Kengo was knocked out flat Tokugawa wave the paramedics and announced Kai as the winner.

With the deafening cheers behind his back Kai struck a pose flexing his back muscles showing it off to the crowd as they even cheered louder.

[4th day of the Demon King reception fights]

Kai was again with Baki teaching him some BJJ submission techniques, He could see that Baki was going from an adept to an expert in using the grappling techniques, Kai was a little bit proud seeing Baki going from a useless twit on the ground to a slithering snake always trying to find a way to strangle his opponent's.

after training Baki, Kai took his girlfriend and friends on restaurant hopping eating foods from wagyu beef steaks to spicy ramen shops.

with stomachs loaded with the assortment of foods the squad took to shopping with Kai being their model, mannequin to freight loader due to the sheer number of clothes and shoes they bought, while Kai was a little bit pissed he couldn't help but smile seeing the Joy on his girlfriend and friends as they adventure through Tokyo looking for curiosity's.

[Later at the Tokyo dome underground arena]

Kai was excited since this time was a treat, the buffet after the appetizer, Fighting the strongest Yakuza and the Grandmaster of Shinshinkai Karate things couldn't be more exhilarating than fighting them, well maybe Yujiro is the first but still this takes the cream of the top after Shibukawa.

taking this seriously Kai could be seen wearing a boxer with a tape up wrist and ankles,his attire looks like the future Baki would wear in his fights but instead he is bigger and with a face of Raian Kure.

Sensing Kai's seriousness his entourage was silent as they watch him flex his limbs, as they follow him they could see the aura of a monster waiting to be unleashed.

As Kai entered the arena he could see in the opposite side Hanayama wearing nothing but a loincloth exposing his slashed up body to everyone.

As they neared each other and faced one another in the center Kai spoke "So we fight again, I hope to defeat you more in a proper way"

"I promise you, I won't fall again" Hanayama replied serious and determination masking his face.

As they both stare each other ignoring the referee who keep trying to usher them to their respective side.

As they heard the Gong sounded out Hanayama pivots clockwise preparing his right for the strongest punch he'll ever unleashed.

Kai pivoting the same but in counter clockwise as he activated his Guihun and Gott-tötter Steinbohrer preparing for the clash.

almost telepathically agreeing, both Hanayama and Kai unleashed both of their punches meeting in the middle with a deafening "boom!!" sending wind, sand and dust hurtling at the audience making Hulk and Hulk buster ashamed in their live clash.

Kai who's a little bit pushed back the same as Hanayama who's grunting at the sheer force, Both of them opened the fist who's smoking from the clash together with their lefts silently hold hands as if pushing each other proceeded to crush each other with their grips.

Both of them straining trying to dominate each other sweat pouring from their foreheads, Kai sensing the increasing pressure that Hanayama was projecting used khüch to break the gripping contest and proceeded to hug Hanayama in his chest with his arms under Hanayama biceps.

Throwing Hanayama who's face was shock, since Hanayama though he was pretty heavy weighting at 145 kg no one short of a powerlifter could easily lift and throw him.

Tumbling and getting himself up Hanayama faced Kai who told him "I ain't a fan of holding hands unless it's a beautiful lady"

slightly cocking his hands back Hanayama proceeded to throw a heavy punch against Kai face who countered with an a uppercut, Hanayama tanking it felt a little dazed as he also sensed that his punch connected.

Kai choosing to tank a punch from Hanayama internally thought ' his punches are very heavy ' as he followed with a Blast core on his left augmented with Gott-tötter Steinbohrer.

Snapping out of the dazed caused by the uppercut Hanayama saw another one coming bracing himself as he felt it connecting to his face.

Hanayama was suddenly felt as if he was floating and everything felt blurry and as if all of it was in a slow motion, He could see the place swaying as he picked himself up, raising his hands on his stance he was bracing himself for another come up while he was trying to snap out of his dizzyness.

Kai seeing Hanayama flew backwards and with a face bruised with a gushing blood from his nose, he saw Hanayama landed on his butt then tried to get up and instead swayed a little before steadying himself raising his hands up in a stance he used against Speck and Musashi.

running up to him Kai unleashed another Blast core with his right making Hanayama flew again but this time crashing against the wall, But again he swayed as he stand up again this time Kai could see that Hanayama has unsteady footing.

Firing another Blast core effectively sent Hanayama slumping against the destroyed barrier, but Kai could see him trying to get up but Hanayama senses are failing him and he was trying to get up but couldn't.

Kai having respect for Hanayama decided to knock him straight by helping him up then rearing his right hand in the farthest he could, Kai unleashed a punch so strong he caved Hanayama's face and sent him flying to the audience seats and also effectively sending him to dream land.

The audience captivated and waiting for Hanayama to stand up again instead clapped furiously in respect to Hanayama's unyielding spirit as Tokugawa announced Kai the winner the audience instead praised Hanayama.

Taking his leave Kai left as he also internally praised Hanayama's spirit.

the fight between the Demon King and Hanayama opened my eyes on how strong the punch the Demon King could deliver.

"I guess, i should do my best on avoiding those" I muttered as I head to my locker room to prepare on my fight.

POV Kai

After heading and staying in the locker room, this is the first time that someone had bruised my face "I guess this is my fault for trying to match Hanayama" I muttered as I felt a slight sting in my cheeks where Hanayama landed a punch.

Still it was a match worth the fight I was pretty pump after it, since the guy was really powerful physically, mentally and spiritually.

For ordinary people and even fighters watching our fight, it may look like a fight between super powered fighters that can create shockwaves, but if you look and sense closely you'll see Hanayama's guardian spirit taking over and tanking the strikes that hit him, that's one of the reasons for his supernatural toughness.

As my mother applied cold compress over the bruised part, my girlfriend was a little bit shocked since this is the first time someone had managed to bruised me even back in New York if I choose to tank a strike it won't even leave a mark on me.

As they converse about my recent fight with Hanayama and how this is my first fight where I retained damage, I let it drone and i refined my concentration and for some reason my bruised was rapidly healing, which surprised those present all of them since the bruised part started steaming and healing.

feeling hungry i ask for some food to my parents which snap all of them out, which I find funny making me laugh.

"Are you sure?You ain't related to Kratos Kai?" Yui ask which made me laugh even more and ask her "Why Kratos? Yui"

"Well, you see when he fought the first boss in the new God of War, he just willed it and all of his injuries were gone" Yui answered which i replied "I see, then worship me for I am the God of War" imitating the voice of kratos which receives a raucous laugh out of my girlfriend and Anastasia.

As they laugh a staff appeared and notified me that the next fight is in 5 minutes so I prepared by stretching my limbs and warming up.

after warming up i head back into the arena with my entourage seeing Doppo on the other side i was elated since i could fight him in official capacity not just a rush attack.

"are you ready Demon King?" Doppo ask smiling as he faced me as the referee says the usual things he says before the match.

"I'm always ready, are you?" Kai taunt as the referee ended his warnings.

"hehehe, you need to watch out" As Doppo kicked the sand towards my face startling the referee who dropped to his butt due to the sudden attack.

sweeping it with my palm I replied "party tricks are getting old Doppo" as i sense an incoming blow slightly moving back to dodge it, i felt a hit connecting to my abdomen turning my attention to it I saw Doppo's Toe kick had hit me.

slightly peeved at the turn of events i rained a barrage of blows against Doppo while yelling "ora ora ora ora!!!"

While pissed I couldn't help but laugh a little bit, since Doppo was blocking with the technique Sangan which looks like him activating his sharingan, seriously it's kinda funny how Doppo's eyes move independently like a chameleon, while keeping track of my strikes and blocking them.

Having enough I grabbed one of his arms which surprised him enough to return his eyes to normal, using Gott-tötter Steinbohrer and blast core I fired it at his confused faced.

The force is strong enough that without my grip on one of his arms he'll flew over the barrier, knocked out i was the only one propping Doppo up "I guess I'm to strong" as i wave Tokugawa to check on him.

as the paramedics wheeled Doppo out, Kai was a bit regretful since he hadn't hold his strength back, he got carried away with Hanayama's endurance that he instantly knocked Doppo out.

Sighing Kai then move out as he was announced the winner again in his 4th day of consecutive fights.

[5th day of the Demon King reception fights]

In the courtyard at Tokugawa's estate, Kai and Baki was doing some calisthenic exercises, As Kai already assessed that Baki was now a very proficient and deadly grappler by now.

After doing a 2 hour calisthenics Kai then taught Baki the Wu Wang fist and the animal style kempo's, which Baki was pretty good at imitating, from the famous dragon style to the elegant crane style.

Kai guided Baki as he demonstrated and tell the meaning of each styles, Kai also demonstrated how to imitate animals for a more original style.

Seeing Baki's dumbfounded expression when Kai showed the dinosaur styles ranging from the crushing T-Rex style to the high flying pteranodon style, it was very satisfying to see the amazement on Baki's face which prompted him to say "Sensei guide me!" while bowing deeply.

Laughing Kai crooked his body and voiced in a old Mandarin voice "get me some water, dai-shin"

Baki not getting the joke just tilted his head in confusion, which made Kai cracked laughing uncontrollably.

after laughing Kai continued guiding Baki then proceeded to some basic Kata's for each style, which continued until afternoon.

After teaching Kai then headed towards Tokugawa, who was signing some papers in his office.

after excusing himself Kai ask Tokugawa "Hey, so when is my no hold match gonna happen?"

Looking up Tokugawa tossed a paper which Kai caught, seeing the venues he was confused.

"Why is the place not in the dome?" Kai ask as he read the schedule.

"You see, with your caliber and the danger of the match, I deemed it too dangerous to allow audience to see it plus with how serious the participants are, I think no one is leaving unscathed" Tokugawa answered Kai as he followed up "I have a favor to ask, please don't kill anyone from the list of your opponent, I beg of you"

"it depends on the situation Tokugawa, sometimes you had to kill a person to preserve his honor" Kai with grim countenance replied to Tokugawa.

"That's why I'm asking you, as a favor" Tokugawa insisted as he looked Kai in the eye.

"I see, I'll try my best" Kai says as he left the room clutch the paper detailing the fights.

warming up Kai was once again in the locker rooms, this time he's alone since his parents apparently took his girlfriend and his friends on a trip across Japan.

They left him with Kramer, his long time personal butler as he waited silently on Kai's command.

standing at 195 cm Kai was now a head taller than his once tall butler, as the staff called him to be ready in 5 minutes, his Butler bowed and ask him "Do you need anything? Young master"

"Right now, nothing but if you bought some heavy meals after this match, it would be appreciated" Kai replied as he flexed for the last time before heading into the arena.

As Kai entered the Arena, he could see a smug face of Doctor Kureha, Honestly Kai wanted to crush that irritating face he looks gay enough for Kai to consider punching it out of him.

Smiling creepily I proceeded to go near the center at the referee who go's at his usual job of informing us and warning about weapons.

I kept staring straight at Kureha which was working since he's getting unnerved by my silent staring.

finally he break the ice with "what are staring at, punk."

"I'm gonna enjoy beating the shit out of you!" Kai responded activating his Guihun which terrified Kureha enough to immediately guard himself.

As they were ushered to their side Kai was immediately overcome with the need to rush at Kureha.

Kureha sensing danger turned around, immediately seeing the hulking form of Kai charging him, in a hurry he fired out a dashing technique punch.

Kai tanking it felt a shockwave travel his body, nonetheless he grabbed Kureha, tossed him in the air, then grabbing his right ankle and proceeded to go wild swinging Kureha at a speed the eye can barely follow.

After toying with Shinogi who's too shock to free himself, Kai slammed him on the Sandy floor of the Arena creating a earthquake, which alarmed the audience so much they almost runned out of their seats.

Turning to Tokugawa who's shocked expression wasn't a rare sight to Kai, signalling him out of his shock Kai pointed at Kureha Shinogi who's wheezing at the crater he created.

Immediately Tokugawa sent for his Paramedics to quickly ten to Kureha, who is also in a daze not believing what they saw.

Going back to the Locker rooms Kai didn't have to wait for Tokugawa announcing him as a winner.

going back at the locker rooms Kai could see Kramer preparing the multitudes of food.

Thanking Kramer, Kai feast on the meals laid in front of him.

After eating all the food laid out Kai was full and very heavy as he was called for the next match, he tried doing a sumo Shiko and he could feel he is now heavier and ready to face Yokozuna Kinryuuzan.

as he entered the arena, Kai could still see the crater which make him smirk, turning his attention to Kinryuuzan he could see the earnest Yokozuna in his big roundness.

As the neared the Arena Kai spoke "Hey Yokozuna, can we have a sumo match"

Which surprised Kinryuuzan so much that he stuttered a bit "ye yeah, do you know Sumo?"

"I know a little bit, do you mind indulging me?" Kai replied which receives a nod from Kinryuuzan.

At the start of the match which is sounded by the gong, Both of them taking a Shikiri stance they both ready for themselves for a Tachiai.

As they both stare at each other they almost telepathically agreed on when to charge.

shocked at the force behind the harite Kinryuuzan grunted and yelled "aaaarggh!" before taking hold of Kai's trunks, keeping Kai in a check as he gathered his breath.

Kai grabbing Kinryuuzan mawashi with great effort lifted him off the ground, Kinryuuzan amazed that Kai could lift his 166 kg body tried to counter it by making himself heavier and pinning Kai's arms under his armpits.

Kai feeling the increased weight decided to slam Kinryuuzan with an Uwatenage, Kinryuuzan tried to stop the throw with a stomp of his right foot, having prevented the throw Kinryuuzan tried an armlock Kai's right arm with his left and tried twisting it down to flip Kai and make him land on the Sandy floor of the arena.

Instead what happened was nothing as he saw the face smiling back at him, turning his attention to the arm under his armlock, Kinryuuzan could see an almost disgusting movement of muscles flexing.

Kai seeing Kinryuuzan astonished face widened his smile even further as he unleashed a powerful harite from his left releasing a loud "Slap!!" as Kinryuuzan reeled back from the force of harite, Kai then pivots as he advance his left foot then firing right fist cocked so far back to achieve maximum impact.

Kinryuuzan snapped from the force of harite only to find an incoming fist heading towards him, bracing himself as best as he can it served futile against the force that sent him backflipping until he crashed against the barrier knocked out with his eyes open but unconscious.

blowing his smoking fist slathered with blood Kai say out loud "ancient sumo was fun!" which illicited a mixed reaction from the audience some calling it a foul and some yelling awesome.

As Tokugawa shaking his head he announced Kai as the winner as they saw the victor skipping his steps out of the arena.

[6th day of the Demon King reception fights]

POV Baki

Kai was amazing, he was opening my eyes on new techniques and styles I haven't heard or even knew.

As I watched him take the snake stance and demonstrate basic attacks and defense, I could now see the reason why he could fight my father he is a genius.

After showing the steps Kai ask me to repeat after him, after a few mistakes i mastered it then we moved to the other styles, which is awesome with this, I'll be able to defeat father.

POV Kai

After training and teaching Baki for the entire day, I told him to find inspiration for creating a new style one that will suit him since the many arsenals I've taught him, only he could master it and not just a mimic of what i taught.

Baki nodding then saying "I'll beat you tomorrow Sensei"

Laughing at Baki, i replied "bring it on!"

after Baki left i relaxed and take in the tranquility of Tokugawa estate.

Doing my usual routine before a fight, today my first match is Izou Motobe who's thrash in terms of martial arts but a Damm good ninja and weapon master.

"I'll just have to make this quick" Kai muttered as the staff notified him of the match.

As Kai headed for the arena, he saw Yujiro Hanma smiling like a creepy stalker and standing in the middle of the hallway.

"To whom do i owe the favor of being in your mighty presence" Kai mock Yujiro who's standing in his way.

laughing Yujiro replied "that isn't a proper greeting for an acquaintance"

"So you've been rousing and tumbling with the rabble here, glad you could knock some sense on them" Yujiro followed up as he pointed with his face towards the arena.

"I don't have time for you, so get out of my way" Kai replied seriously with a dangerous glint in his eyes.

laughing again Yujiro shrugs his shoulders and let Kai pass.

As Kai brushed shoulders with Yujiro, he whispered "I hope the aid you've given my son made him stronger" turning his head Kai could see the manic grin plastered on Yujiro's face as they go their separate ways.

Entering the arena Kai was a little pissed, since a psychopath has appeared Kai would have to warn Alexandra and his friends of the potential danger Yujiro might cause in order to satisfy his sadistic tendency's.

Motobe who's on the other side of the arena could sense the apparent anger simmering just below the surface, he always been able to judge if the fight is to dangerous or not, right now he sensed that if he's not careful he might lose his life.

As the referee called them in the center Kai was wearing an angry stoic face that will intimidate anyone trying to approach him.

as the referee finished and they returned to their side of the ring Kai was silent, which unnerved everyone since this is the first time he's silent.

Motobe sensing the atmosphere was nervous since this isn't the usual behavior of the Demon King these past few days, putting his guard and senses to the limit he prepared for Kai eventual attack.

At the sound of the Gong Kai nonchalantly walk towards Motobe who got his guard up, everyone including Motobe was puzzled at Kai as he walk calmly but still wearing the angry stoic face.

As he reached Motobe who's slowly inching around him, Kai slapped Motobe's face so fast and hard the he hadn't had the time to react much less dodge it.

Motobe who was hit by the lightning slap of Kai was spinning a 360 degrees due to the force of it, ultimately landing with a thud in the sandy floors of the arena.

The audience unsure on how to react to the unexpected outcome or more like the most boring and unexciting match so far, since all that happened was Kai walking up to his opponent and slapping him.

Tokugawa also unsure decided to announce him winner anyway as they cart the unconscious Motobe out, Kai left the arena silent and eerie that it looks like no one was ever there.

Taking a drink Kai sat on a chair heavily and after quenching his thirst Kai had Kramer ask the head of security to double the guards guarding his parents and also to add his friends who together with his parents decided to go on a trip.

Kai also called his girlfriend on the phone and told her about the situation and if a chance that she met Yujiro, she must treat him with caution and don't do anything that will let Yujiro entice a prospect of even harming her.

receiving a assurance from Alexandra, Kai could relax a little as he respect her to not do anything stupid enough to get her killed.

after calming himself Kai was notified about his next match and as he headed towards the arena, he could hear a lot of cheers coming from the arena.

As he entered Kai could see a huge man in briefs, apparently another wrestler promoting himself to the crowd who's chanting "Toba!" "Toba!" "Toba!"

Hoping to finish this Kai neared the referee who's droned the usual things he says before the match and as they both went and waited for the Gong to sound in their respective sides of the arena.

As the Gong sounded out Kai rushed using the footwork of the [Lightning God Style] he reached Toba in a matter of a second, punching him with his blast core augmented with Gott-tötter Steinbohrer with his right fist, he launched the surprised Toba so high up that he crashed and buried some of the audience watching.

Still in the pose of an uppercut, everyone could see the smoking outstretched arm of Kai.

The audience shocked for 3 seconds waiting for all of it to sink in, immediately cheered and talk about how fast that was, while some of them helped those crushed underneath Toba who was already huge and heavy.

As Kai turned to Tokugawa, there he was, same as usual shocked with an opened dangling mouth.

Tokugawa snapped out of his shocked when someone tapped him about getting help on removing Toba and helping the audience who's stucked underneath, quickly announcing Kai as the winner he proceeded to order the staffs and paramedics to lift up the Toba who's pinning down 6 people underneath.

Kai returning his gaze to Toba who's being lifted by 8 paramedics with staffs supporting them couldn't help but chuckle "it seems way too familiar" as he remembered his first underground match in New York.

[7th day of the Demon King reception fights]

As Kai woke up, he cleaned himself up and headed to where Tokugawa is, asking the maids on where the midget had gone, getting directed to the Koi ponds, Kai jog to where Tokugawa is feeding the Koi with Kanoh.

Arriving to where they are Kai was invited to throw some feeds by Tokugawa.

"Hey can i call a favor?" Kai requested as he grabs a handful of pellets and proceeded to sprinkle the feeds to the Koi's.

"Hmm, what is it?" Tokugawa replied as he tossed some pellets to the Koi's.

"I need someone monitoring Yujiro Hanma, at least while my family, girlfriend and friends are here in Japan" Kai say's as he grabbed another hand full of feeds and throw them to the center of the pond which the Koi's chased after.

"Worried are you? don't worry I'll arrange for the Ogre to be monitored and your loved ones safe, I swear on my family name I'll never let anyone harm them while they stay in Japan" Tokugawa assured Kai as he faced him.

Following up with an invitation for tea, Kai couldn't help but accept since Tokugawa has graciously arrange for them to be protected, since Japan wasn't his turf unlike in New York the mobsters will protect his friends and family due to Santorini and his Underground fans.

After sending Kiyosumi Katou flying in the air after he attempted an eye poke, Kai was waiting for Baki to appear and as he waited on the arena, he could see a lot of martial artist watching from the upper back seats waiting for the son of Ogre.

sensing Yujiro, Kai brought up his senses to the limit trying to locate the bastard.

Sensing him in the opposite entrance, where Baki should come out, Kai could see the silhouette of father and son coming out.

Smiling Kai was excited on what Baki will do in this fight.

Author here sorry for not releasing these past week since I've gotten sick, I was terrified that I contracted Covid but thankfully i didn't it just a serious flu that gave me a painfull headache,fever and a dying cough anyway I'm back and umm could you forgive me if I got any mistakes on the earlier parts since i was lucid while writing anyway I'm planning on making a God of War Au fanfic and it's on the making BTW I just got an inspiration while i finished the God of War 4 and read the new comic God of War fallen God thanks and have a good day
