10 Factions

Once upon a time, there was a war. This war was started by a single cause: revenge. Immortal Beings fought against each other, Divine Beings against Chaotic Beings. The Chaotic Beings rose up from their lands, while the Divine Beings flew down from the heavens. These are the first two Factions, the Divine Faction as well as the Chaotic Faction. While Immortal Beings had started the war, others had participated. Demons were unleashed from Hell, as well as Elemental Beings from the different terrains. The third and fourth Factions are the Demonic Faction and the Elemental Faction. These are the four primary Factions that were the most well known.

At the end of the war, the various Factions were disgusted and fearful of the result of the war; half the land of the world was burned, frozen, buried or completely destroyed. The 10 Factions made a pact that if another war would ever come to be, the Beings would be put to a 100 year sleep, therefore giving them no chance to fight. This was year 2031, 23 years and 5 months before the world finally got back onto its feet.
