She is not supposed to think about a man in her life

"Are you kidding!" Bella threw it at him with a big smile on her face as she moved to him, not leaving Kristine's hand.

Kristine would not let him touch that money and even if he did, she would ensure to pay him back without Bella knowing of course.

He moved back trying to get away from his fiance's reach when he unintentionally used his leg to push one of Kristine's rod that held the tent in place.

Kristine watched the rod fall and the rest that were not in place fell as well. Making the whole tent a disaster as it collasped on the floor.

People began to look at them. Lewis; who was helping a couple stopped what he was doing and looked at them.

Kristine looked at Richard who had a sorry look on his face. She felt her best friend's hand on her arm. She blinked, moved away from her hold and bent down to pick a rod. They watched as she looked at it carefully, before she finally looked at Richard and Bella's sorry faces.

She dropped the rod and looked at them.

"I am not doing it again." She said and walked away from them to their own perfectly fitted tent. She stood besides it and looked at her friends.

"I am taking this tent." She said, entered into the tent and sat down.

Richard and Bella exchange looks and smiled.

Lewis smiled at the funny trio before he continued on what he was doing.

Kristine smiled at Bella and Richard as she picked up her phone and rolled her eyes when she saw no service.

Typical.

Lewis and other guys went hunting for anything that nature provided with a single bow and many arrows which only two persons could use. They left the ladies to gather sticks to make a fire. They didn't have to go far because there were a lot where they camped.

Lewis told them history about Polignano a Mare, told them stories about the place. He said they had a lot to see.

Honestly, she had fun. She, Bella and Richard took a lot of pictures. She enjoyed every moment with them than spending time with Gerald who was getting married.

Everytime she remembered what she saw, her mood changed drastically.

They were having fun by the lake. Bella and Richard splashed water on themselves.

"Come on, Kristine." Richard called her in.

She shook her head smiling at them while they played in the water. Chasing each other.

"The water won't bite, you know."

She stopped smiling and turned to the voice beside her.

She saw his face and gently removed the hair that the wind blew in her face.

Lately, she had been doing the opposite of what she told herself.

No male in her life. She didn't need one but Lewis didn't look too bad. He was a sight to look at.

She had been paying attention to almost everything he did.

She knew it was as a result of Bella constantly reminding her, he was close by, that he could be watching her too.

She hadn't cared until last night before they went to bed.

He had told the story after they had eaten the rabbit Lewis killed.

He had been looking at her when he told the story but the truth was; she wasn't listening to what he was saying because she felt it wasn't any of her business and her mind was somewhere else, but he didn't know that.

When she began to notice people leaving for their tents, she looked in his direction and he just looked at her back. She had thought it was completely awkward for them to be staring. She didn't stop, until Bella moved close to her and wisphered: "He likes you."

She haven't done anything to instire any feelings in him. She didn't talk to him, why would he like her? After that moment, every time she was standing with the other campers she subconsciously felt someone looking at her.

Was that a good thing?

She didn't want to be in a relationship.

Relationships sucked! It was either he had an hidden agenda or he just wanted her as past time.

She was done.

Was she?

She looked at Lewis again.
