Sitting down on the living room floor with Ellis in her lap, Anna wondered why Meredith called her down here. Bailey and Zola played with their toys while Meredith walked in with a tray and bowls full of ice cream. The kids eyes lit up as Meredith sat down with them, "So, the reason why you saw Dr. DeLuca here the other night was because he and I have been spending more time together."

"Is he your boyfriend?" Zola asks and Anna smirks, "Yeah, is he still just your boyfriend?"

"He is." Meredith nods, eyes flickering over all four of their reactions.

"What's that mean?" Sweet, little, innocent Bailey asks.

"Well, that means that I like him a lot. Not more than you, but a lot."

"Are you gonna kiss him?" Zola asks, Anna laughs.

"Probably."

"Ew, gross!" Bailey exclaims, sticking his tongue out while Zola grimaces in union, "Oh, gross!"

"Is he gonna sleep on the couch again?" Zola fires another question, eating a bite of her ice cream.

Meredith giggles, "No, he won't be sleeping on the couch, but he may be coming around a lot more, so... but I'm not going anywhere. You're stuck with me."

"Your boyfriend?" Ellis speaks up, tilting her head back and staring up at her eldest sister.

Anna shakes her head with a laugh, "No. Colton won't be coming over in the middle of the night, or sleeping on our couch."

"Anna." Meredith warns, suppressing her laughter.

"I'm just being honest." Anna shrugs.

The five of them spend the rest of the afternoon together before Meredith's shift starts at the hospital and Anna has class. Like any normal day that he's able to, Colton gives her a ride there. She groans, watching the time tick by on her phone, snuggling up closer to him before she finally, begrudgingly gets out of the car and grabs her bag. "Have a good day," Colton tells her. Anna replies, "You too, Samuel Colt."

Amelia stands around Nancy's dining room with Link who poses as Owen, "Fun! Family reunion! Is, uh, Liz gonna pop out of the closet next? Or Mom?"

"Please give me more credit than that. I wouldn't just spring Mom on you. I did call Liz, but she was out of town." Nancy answers, gesturing them further into the room.

"Ah, too bad. We could've all compared lives to make sure yours are still better." Amelia sighs, already thinking, planning, and ready to bolt from this upcoming storm.

"It's not like that at all." Nancy frowns, wanting all of her present siblings to be civil.

"No. This is about Nancy's compulsive need to fix all of us." Kathleen speaks up from her wine glass that's already been refilled one too many times.

"We are a family. We haven't seen each other in years. You haven't even met Owen. I'm sure we can all be civil for one night."

As Link chats up her sisters, Amelia's phone buzzes from her pocket and she excuses herself in a hurry and answers, "Anna?"
