Chapter 008: Hydra?

Luke utilized his days inside the pocket dimension to improve himself further, He also managed to get close to Helena Ravenclaw, the direct descendant of Rowena Ravenclaw, He gained Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter's character card (Assimilation only) after defeating them both in a quidditch match.

Chapter 8:-

Time: 9:58pm, 17th of September, 1981, Thursday

Location: Luke's Bedroom.

"Hagdrid would probably know more about the three-headed dog." Harry said as they walked to Hadrid's hut.

"But isn't it a bit risky since he might find out what we are trying to do?" Ron asked merely to make some small talk.

"He is still a good friend of ours, he probably won't unless a professor asks him about us" Harry replied back.

Soon they arrived at hagdrid's hut as Harry called out for him "Hagdrid! Are you home?"

"Who's tere?" Hagdrid asks cautiously as he opens the door when he sees it's the squad he shows a warm smile as he says "Oh, it's Harry and his friends init, Come inside" while he opens the door more.

"Ya lot ought to visit me more, it's a bit lonely ere" Hagdrid said after closing the door behind them

"Sorry Hagdrid, we got busy with classes." Harry said.

"Aye,do ya want some rock cake?" Hadrid said as he pointed to the cake on the table. Luke mused as he went near to check it 'Yep, hard as a rock'

"Uh sure, Let me just.." Luke said as he casted a transfiguration spell into the rock cake, make it more fluffy and hot, which caused an aromatic scent to reside within the hut.

"Appreciate it, Luke," Hadrid nodded in delight, they ate the cake while making some small talk until Harry asked Hagdrid about a three-headed Dog but he appeared to be hiding something as he fumbled to not expose it.

Luke meanwhile was looking around to find the dragon egg until he spotted it in a corner near the chimney, He casually walked there under the curious gazes of everyone except Hagdrid who nervously said "L-luke, do ya need som-somethin?"

Luke didn't answer as he used a nearby iron rod to gently remove the blanket wrapped around the egg, his friends exclaimed looking at the egg as they look at Hagrid for answers

"Sigh… I will tell ya, but don't tell anyone else I will probably get in trouble" Hagdrid said in resignation as he started to explain how he got the egg.

Luke on intuition alone decided to touch the egg, and he was glad he did as he saw a notification which said.

[Congratulations! You have obtained <Dragon egg> Character card (Summoning only)...]

'Nice… I guess I have a dragon now' Luke thought as he gently put the dragon egg in the middle of the table where the rock cakes were so everyone could see it.

Due to Hagdrid's slipup they also learned about the Philosopher's stone. Thus they started trying to find out more about it.

Harry suspected Snape but without much proof they couldn't do anything thus they kept quiet eventually after a few weeks in late April, the dragon egg had hatched due to Draco's snitching behavior they had to be sent to the forbidden forest for a few days.

Luke could have prevented this as he knew Draco would follow them that night but he didn't as he wanted Baldymort to feel a sense of urgency after being discovered thus fast-forwarding the event that leads to his demise.

"Hadgrid… what is that?" Harry asked as he looked at the gue in hagdrid's finger.

"Tis ere is unicorn blood" Hagdrid said as he explained how he found a dead unicorn a few weeks back and they are supposed to be scaring of the werewolfs.

Then Hagrid divides the team in two, Luke with Hermione, Draco and Hagdrid's dog Frank, while Hadgrid takes Ron and Harry with him.

"Ugh, why did I have to be stuck with him you"Draco scowled while holding the lantern.

"Snitches get stitches" Luke casually muttered, which cause draco to scoff and say "Is it even considered snitching if we aren't even friends"

Hermione rolled her eyes as she muttered "Obnoxious pampered brat."

"What did you sa-" Before Draco could ask, they heard a howl in the distance at the same time Luke's Danger sense went haywire as it sense death looming nearbye.

Luke quickly went near the trio as he muttered "Frank go get Hagrid, fast!" while he casted multiple silent spells such as invisibility, emit scent, sound etc on frank as it started running where they came from.

"Stay quiet if you want to stay alive and slowly back away..." Luke gravely said while he looked in the direction his senses were trying to warn him about.

*Growl* They heard a deep growl which sended a chill down Their spine as they noticed multiple deep red eyes glowing in the distance.

The closer it got closer to them, the faster their heartbeat became until eventually they caught a glimpse of what it was.

A pair of wolves… bigger than Hagrid.

Luke narrowed his eyes as he thought 'They shouldn't be here right now… unless…?' as he casted a silent spell to heighten his senses.

Luke almost immediately smelled a fresh scent of blood while hearing a quiet whimper 'Figured… Puppy season…'

Luke due to the recent events following somewhat of a canon path forgot to consider that this pocket dimension had truly come alive thus Everyone existed as if they were rea- *crunch*.

Luke and also the wolves both heard where the sound came from, Draco who has stepped on a branch.

Without waiting for the wolves to make their move, Luke decisively casted 'Expecto patronum' and almost immediately a flashing myrid of different lights exuded from himself as gradually it grew larger until even the wolves appeared as if they were pups.

*ROOOOOOOOOAAAAR* The patronus of Luke, a six headed Hydra roared loudly as every entity within a certain radius of it felt a sense of oppression and dread come to them, as if Ragnarok had descended.

The wolves cowered and whimpered in submission, Yet Luke, Hermione and Draco were unaffected, He quickly Grabbed them and appariated away.

After reaching a long distance he thought back to how each head had a different color purple, yellow , red, blue, orange and green, with red being the most prominent.

'The colors shouldn't be a coincidence…' Luke narrowed his eyes yet before he could think further as Draco and Hermione came to their senses so they started asking questions.

'Sigh… Things got more complicated.' Luke thought as he attempted to calm the duo down.

They quickly found Hadrid, who had discovered the culprit behind the unicorn attacker but the culprit managed to escape.

After that incident occurred, Draco stopped treating them with his usual disdain and his mild fear towards Luke as even though Luke could have left him behind, he still saved him.

While they wouldn't be considered friends, at least now they were back to neutral ground.

Over the next couple of weeks, Luke also noticed whenever he went to dada class that Professor Quirrell was paler and looked more sickly. Even sometimes ending the class early.

Luke brought up this suspicious behavior to his friends who, following his subtle hints also came to the conclusion that perhaps Professor Quirrell is the one who wants to steal the Philosopher's stone.

Thus they began the plan to get the Philosopher's stone before Professor Quirrell so they could keep it safe until professor Quirrell is caught red-handed.

In late June, they decisively began their heist after Luke's suggestion unaware Luke had timed it with his Spector mark so Professor Quirrell would already be there at the end

The first obstacle they faced was Fluffy the three-headed guard dog, which was easy to handle as Luke casted a sleeping spell on it.

Afterwards they faced the devil's snare which Hermione helped with. The flying keys were taken care of by Harry, Wizard chess was taken care of by Ron.

The next room, they found an unconscious troll which alarmed the trio as they realized someone is already there

The final room was a sleeping gas room where they had to make an antidote before time runs out else they will fall asleep. This was Luke's way of improvising the ending as he felt this way it would make sense on why Harry faced Baldymort alone instead of the random way they were taken out in the original.

Luke was the best with potions, so he worked with the others to make an antidote, he pretended that there was only enough for one, which he decisively gave it to Harry, as the sleeping gas gradually filled the room.

"Cough- Go Harry! You must cough- stop them…" Luke mumbled as he pretended to fall asleep. He had already casted a silent spell that detoxifies anything that entered him.

After waiting for some minutes he stood up, casted multiple protection spells over Hermione and Ron, put them in a corner, then casted an invisibility spell on them, in case some unforeseen event happens.

"How long are you gonna stay invisible?" Luke casually asked while he looked in a certain direction, He sighed when he got no answer.

"Anyways I will wait for you in the next room" Luke said as he casted an advanced form of invisibility spell on himself.

Quickly Luke found Harry and Baldymort having a dumbass philosophical debate on etc things as Baldymort tried to trick Harry.

'<Want some lemon drops?>' an elderly voice asked Luke telepathically.

'<Uh sure, To be honest I thought you would try to meet me earlier.>' Luke answered as he felt someone touch his hand.

'<I did plan for that… but after seeing your genuine friendship with Harry, I decided to hold back until felt you would become an actual threat him.>' Dumbledore answered calmly while he chewed on some lemon drops.

'<You are not from our world, you?>' Dumbledore casually asked, while Luke answered '<Nope, Multiverse theory basically.>

'<Ah, Now it makes sense…> Dumbledore nodded knowingly.

Luke curiously asked '<What does?>', Dumbledore answered '<I felt a distinct aura from you when I first saw you… which is only unique to otherworlders, confused since had both that and as if belonged in our world.>'

Luke nodded while he saw Harry turn Professor Quirrell Into Professor Ash, then Harry passed out after Baldymort farted.

<'It was nice to finally talk you otherworlder… But I must tend Harry now> Dumbledore said casually while he walked to Harry.

Luke looked at the Philosopher's stone as he asked "Can I check that for a second?"

Dumbledore paused as if to contemplate something until eventually he telepathically handed it to Luke. "Consider it My gift to you for being a genuine friend to Harry."

[Congratulations, You have obtained <Stone of Life> Item card]

Luke raised his eyebrow but he nonetheless said "I appreciate it." With a subtle nod, Now he had two Philosopher's stones.

When Harry woke up later along with the others in the pharmacy, He was confused but Dumbledore explained what happened afterwards.

Afterwards they spend their last month on Hogwarts enjoying life while Luke went to visit Helena.

"Is this Lady Rowena's diadem?" Luke curiously asked Helena despite knowing it was.

"Indeed, Although it's damaged after I naively gave it to some guy named Tom" Helena answered with a scowl when she remembered that.

Luke touched it and almost immediately a notification popped up that caused him to retreat his hand.

[Due to your high Intelligence, Corruption attempts have been successfully prevented.]

[Congratulations you gained <Rowena's Corrupted Diadem> item card… Caution:- It may corrupt the user's soul.]

'Welp, Figured as much' Luke mused as he casted all the purification spells he knew yet it didn't remove the corruption effect permanently.

Thus he casted many sealing spells and illusion spells to keep it hidden.

"Why are you hiding it?" Helena asked confused.

"It tried to corrupt my soul. That Tom guy must have placed a powerful curse on it" Luke casually explained yet it caused Helena to be lived as she started cursing Tom and his ancestors.

Soon it came time for the final day on Hogwarts and unsurprisingly Gryffindor won due to Harry's credit of exposing Professor Quirrell, Albeit Ravenclaw was second with a mere difference of 10 points.

Afterwards, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Luke boarded the Hogwarts Train back home, Promising to write back to each other using their owls.

Luke decided to stay with Weasley family this time, who welcomed them.

Time:-, 7:30am, 27th of September, 1981, Sunday

Location:- Luke's bedroom.

Luke Groggily woke up as he stretched out his hands 'That was fun… Not doing it for another year though.'

Then he freshened up and went downstairs, where he had breakfast with his family.

Word count:- 2111

To be honest, this chapter feels a bit meh, perhaps because I am writing two chapters in a single day, but either way, That's that. The first year at Harry Potter is done.

He gained Draco, Harry Potter Ron, Hermione's Assimilation cards

He also got dragon's egg summon card, a Philosopher's stone, and a corrupted Daiedem, The invisibility cloak.

He became lvl 31 I.e C rank, He is very proficient in casting spells upto 4th years. Like he can cast those spells better than a 4th year Hogwarts student.

Next chapter, as I mentioned earlier, you will probably get Emma reading the Harry Potter books unless you don't want it and some other events happening.
