Part 33

All of Rindi's husband's friends were lying down on the sofa in the television room. Except for Victor who still faithfully followed behind Rindi while carrying groceries. They had stopped at Asia Mart for monthly shopping. Because before going to Stefano's parents' house in Jangsado, the groceries in the apartment refrigerator were already empty.

"You just put everything on the table, and rest! I'll make all of you coffee," Rindi to Victor.

"No! I don't like black coffee, just make me a latte okay?" asked Victor.

"You think my house is a cafe and my wife is a waitress, drink what my wife makes!" said Fano curtly as he took over the groceries Victor was holding.

"Ah...Hyung," Victor whined spoiled.

Rindi laughed lightly then patted Victor's shoulder lightly then nodded his head in obedience to Victor's will to drink a latte. Victor smiled happily and then went to the television room sofa, leaving Rindi laughing a little at the sight of her music art lecturer who was like a child in front of her husband.

"You don't want to go home?" asked Fano who was sitting next to Rindi while embracing his wife's shoulder warmly.

While all his friends were watching television for fun and chatting with each other.

"Hey! Why ask things like that? Just leave them here," said Rindi, a little uncomfortable with Fano's words.

Fano turned to Rindi then snorted softly. Why is his wife so insensitive? Fano then looked away annoyed.

"We plan to stay here, I'm exhausted, Hyung. Can't drive home anymore," Jason said answering Fano's question.

Fano's eyes went wide and looked at Jason with an annoyed face. Jay and Namsuya who saw Fano's expression laughed loudly. While the others looked at the two confused, what were they both laughing at?

"Where do you want to sleep, there are only 3 rooms here. One of them is mine and Rindi's," said Fano, suppressing his voice so as not to sound too annoyed.

Rindi who heard Fano's voice laughed lightly and then rubbed her husband's arm gently.

"Just let them sleep here, after all, it's already late. They can share the existing 2 rooms, right?" Rindi said trying to make her husband calm down.

Stefano looked at Rindi in disbelief, why his wife was so innocent? Why not be sensitive to Fano's refusal for his friends to stay? Even though Fano never once forbade everyone to play in his apartment. But not today and don't stay overnight, that's what Fano meant. There was a sigh from Fano then the chubby man nodded his head slowly.

Everyone had gone to their respective rooms. Victor, Jason, and Jipyong were in the same room as Rindi's former room. While Jay, Namsuya, and Jangki are also in one room the guest room. Victor glanced at Jason with a mischievous expression, Jason's head nodded firmly with a serious face, while Jipyong was covering his mouth with a pillow holding back laughter.

Ting...ting...ting...ting...

Fano's cell phone on the table didn't stop at all, Fano who was hugging Rindi who was about to fall asleep groaned in frustration. Fano kicked the blanket and made Rindi open her eyes again.

"Why, Chan?" Rindi asked quietly and in a voice that already smelled of pillows.

"This is why I don't want them to stay the night."

Fano pointed at his cell phone which kept ringing as an incoming message. It must be their group chat line notification. Stefano is very familiar with the mischievous nature of his friends, especially Victor. Rindi chuckled softly and then woke up from her sleep. She walked to the table and then turned off her husband's cell phone.

"Is that right? Don't be angry because of trivial things," said Rindi, holding Fano's cheek gently.

Fano looked at Rindi and smiled, his head nodded obediently then his hand swiftly pulled Rindi's hand and lay beside him.

"Baby Yoon huh?" whispered Fano.

Rindi's face was once again red like boiled shrimp from embarrassment.

Rindi was just about to leave the apartment when Bang Hyu Sik stood in front of her husband's apartment. Rindi reflexively bowed her body to Bang Hyu Sik. Her husbands superior smiled faintly and then bowed as well.

"Stefano is there?" Bang Hyu Sik asked Rindi.

Rindi's brow furrowed in confusion, it wasn't usually at this hour that her husband's boss was looking for Stefano at home. Of course, at these hours, Stefano has a studio.

"He's in the office, sir," Rindi said quietly.

Bang PD then smiled a smirk that Rindi couldn't interpret, not long after Bang Hyu Sik's cell phone rang, and Stefano's name was written on it.

"Your husband, maybe he is also waiting for me," said Bang Hyu Sik then put his cell phone to his ear.

"Never say anything to Rindi, I've made a decision and I'm in your room,"

Hearing Fano's words on the other side, Bang Hyu Sik nodded and smiled with satisfaction. A moment later Bang Hyu Sik turned off his phone with Fano. Bang Hyu Sik then said goodbye to Rindi. Rindi's brow furrowed in surprise, what was the matter, why did her husband's superior come all the way to the apartment looking for Fano?

Fano glared at Bang Hyu Sik, his boss with a confident face returned Stefano's gaze. Bang Hyu Sik is sure that Fano will choose his career over Rindi, his contract wife. After they both divorce Bang Hyu Sik will pressure Fano to marry his daughter Hyu Jin.

"Give me the next 5 days, then I will finish everything," said Fano, opening the conversation.

Bang Hyu Sik stood up and then lightly grabbed Fano's shoulder. The man smiled contentedly, with Fano's choice.

"Okay, 5 days is enough to solve everything. Give the woman compensation and then divorce her. I will settle all the girl's college fees, so she will have no other reason to bother us," said Bang Hyu Sik.

Fano was silent and looked at his boss disapprovingly. For years at this agency, this is the first time Stefano really hates this CEO.

A few days later Stefano drove his car at high speed to the agency office with Jay. The two of them did make a promise to go together to the agency office. Jay, who was a little scared, held on to the window handle while occasionally glancing at Stefano, who seemed to have lost his mind driving the car at high speed.

"Couldn't you be a little slower?" Jay said.

"Then it will take us longer to arrive at the agency," said Fano.

Jay sighed his head in agreement with Fano's words.

Arriving at the agency, Fano went straight to Bang Hyu Sik's room. When Fano entered with Jay, Bang Hyu Sik was with Hyu Jin, I don't know what they were discussing. Fano walked steadily towards the sofa where Bang Hyu Sik was sitting. Fano then handed him the paper he was holding.

"My contract is finished with this agency today, and I have no intention of continuing the contract. This is my resignation letter," said Fano in a firm voice and without hesitation.

Bang Hyu Sik and Hyu Jin simultaneously stood up and looked at Fano in disbelief. Both were surprised by Fano's current choice

"I've never had the intention to divorce Rindi. If you really want to spread my marriage contract agreement with Rindi please, then everyone will think this is your form of pressure on me who doesn't want to extend the contract. Then you yourself will lose," Stefano continued again.

Jay smiled behind Fano, this cold man in front of him was always firm and had principles with what he chose. The two then left Bang Hyu Sik's room, leaving Bang Hyu Sik surprised by Stefano's choice.

Jay and Stefano walked hand in hand towards the parking lot, Stefano breathed a sigh of relief and then took Jay's hand.

"Hyung, now you have to give me a job. Because your brother is unemployed now," said Fano spoiled.

Jay laughed a little then nodded his head in approval of Fano's words. Both of them then laughed out loud and entered Stefano's car.
