Mouth to mouth
"What are you doing?"
Felix released Jasmine's mouth and turned to look at the person who had caught him with his mouth pressed against Jasmine's.
A man wearing a white doctor's coat was standing a few steps from the bed.
Schooling his face to appear nonchalant, "I'm feeding her the medicine," Felix replied to the query.
"With your mouth?" the man scoffed.
"She kept spitting out the pill when I fed her normally. She needs to take the medicine, she's burning up. I had no choice," said Felix to justify his action.
"Sure you don't," said the man sarcastically, "you know you can crush the pill and dissolve it into some water and feed it to her like that, right?" the man said. "At least that's what I will do if there's no liquid medicine," he added.
Felix pursed his lips into a thin line.
"Who are you? I haven't seen you here before," asked the man with squinted eyes, trying to recall if he ever encountered Felix before.
