Unbridled Sibling Rage

Leonidus grabbed his brother's wrist with both hands, "K-Kariya...?"

"No, the fucking Easter Bunny, who else do you think?"

Kariya took off into the air, he approached an office building then slammed Alyx through the window! The people inside all panicked and rushed over towards him. Leonidus looked up and saw a barrage of Overdrive Beams coming straight for him and the office workers. He quickly put up a forcefield that was pelted by the oncoming attack. Kariya flew in as he continued to fire the Overdrive Beams at Leonidus' shield.

"You know something, I never really got to tell you how I truly felt about our little family, Alyx. Let me start off by saying this... Fuck you and fuck your little 'Violet-Blue Overdrive'. If you never had that to begin with, our family would still be intact! You were always the golden boy as soon as you got that Quirk of yours." Kariya told him.

His forcefield began to crack and the people behind Alyx cowered in fear. Alyx looked down and noticed that one of them dropped a small photo of their family. He looked over at Kariya who was still hammering him with Overdrive Beams.

"That's... That's not how I remember it! I was always trying to be like you! Mom and Dad were amazed that my Overdrive turned out the way it did, sure, but they treated me like they treated you and Annie! I always thought you and Annie were incredible, so I strived to be just like you two! Your jealousy and spite... She did this to you, didn't she? You dipshit! My Quirk doesn't mean a goddamn thing! It doesn't represent who I am!"

Leonidus' anger pushed back Kariya's beams as the shield shattered! The people standing behind Alyx watched as his Overdrive slowly surrounded him.

"Fine then... We'll play by your rules... You wanna see why I'm the so called 'Golden Boy'? THEN I'LL SHOW YOU!!"

His Overdrive exploded, lighting up the room with Violet-Blue light, Kariya stood stunned as he observed his Heat Energy. It spiked dramatically as he entered Gear Two. The brothers stared each other down without making a single move. Alyx appeared in front of Kariya and slammed his fist into his stomach, sending him back out of the same window he came in.

Alyx looked back at the civilians, "Get out of here now! Go get someone to help!"

The civilians listened and quickly ran out of the room. Leonidus tore off towards Kariya, who phased into view right in front of him, hitting him in the jaw with his knee. Alyx rebounded then hit him across the face with a high kick. The boys took off higher into the air, their auras twisting and winding as they dove higher and higher into the sky. They pelted each other with rapid-fire fists as they flew, Alyx headbutted Kariya, which sent him flying backwards. Leonidus drove both of his feet into Kariya's stomach, chasing after him further as it knocked him back.

Kariya dodged a strike from Alyx then rammed his elbow into his back. He lifted his leg up high then sent Alyx down into the water with a huge kick. He zoomed down towards Leonidus as the water rose into the air, Kariya burrowed Alyx into the ground with dozens of fists as Alyx desperately tried to block them. Alyx broke through Kariya's strikes, to his surprise, and grabbed Kariya's face.

"Fuck you!" Alyx shouted.

He chucked Kariya further through the earth and out through to a cave as the water began to fill the newly created hole. Alyx landed on the ground in front of Kariya and hit him in the face with his elbow, hit him in the jaw with an uppercut, but missed when he went for a knee to his stomach. The two clasped each other's hands as they began to struggle for power over one another.

"W-What don't you... Understand, Kariya?! I never held any resentment towards you, ever! You fucking dumbass, you let Grandmother talk you into something, didn't you?!" Alyx raged.

"No, I realized that I was never going to cut it in our family! Not like you, not like Annie, because deep down Dad knew I was too weak! Why the fuck would I stay if I could easily read the room?! Daniela was right... You ruined everything!"

The pressure the two were giving off could be felt all the way in Musutafu! All Might looked out of the teacher's lounge window as he felt the small tremors.

"What's going on? Is there an earthquake somewhere? No... I would've been informed that something was going on." All Might muttered.

Meanwhile, in the cave, Kariya managed to overpower Alyx and sent him sliding back with a headbutt of his own. The two brothers panted heavily; Alyx wiped blood off of his mouth as Kariya cracked his neck.

"Hmph... I bet she'd be alive if you took it as seriously as this... Or if she wasn't so damn useless..."

Leonidus' eyes widened with realization, "A-Are... Are you talking about Laura?! DON'T YOU TALK ABOUT HER LIKE THAT!"

As Alyx's Overdrive ignited, Kariya noticed something new about his appearance, there was a red, pulsating V-shaped symbol on his forehead and his chest. Kariya stood back as he observed the marking on his brother's head.

"𝘞𝘢𝘪𝘵, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨... 𝘐𝘴 𝘩𝘦... 𝘚𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘩..."

Kariya got into a fighting pose and Alyx responded in kind. The two charged towards each other with their fists reeled back. Before they could connect with each other, they suddenly froze in place.

"That is enough." A voice echoed.

The two looked over towards where they heard the voice. A glowing figure approached them with its hand out.

"Amatsu..."

"M-Mr. Mikaboshi?"

"I am unsure why you two are fighting over something mundane. Are you blinded by jealousy, Kariya Leonidus? You know you are in the wrong, it is a shame to see what you've become." Amatsu replied.

Kariya rolled his eyes, "Whatever..."

Alyx unfroze and his Quirk deactivated, Kariya tried to move but couldn't, he let out an "Ahem" to try and get Amatsu's attention.

"You will be freed in a few moments, for now, goodbye." Mikaboshi informed him.

Alyx and Amatsu disappeared, Kariya's eyes narrowed with annoyance. The two reappeared on a rooftop near the Leonidus Residence. Mikaboshi sat down Alyx's school bag next to him.

"So, I'm assuming you heard all that?" Alyx asked.

"Indeed, I did, Alyx, I have but no choice but to listen. I was ordered to protect you by the All-Father after I was cleansed."

"I just don't understand," Alyx sighed, "Why does he believe all that? After everything we've been through, was he just hiding behind a veil?"

"That I cannot answer, Alyx. But it seems as if there's something else on your mind."

Alyx sat there and reminisced on old memories of him and his older brother. A certain memory replayed over and over in his mind.

"𝑯𝒂 𝒉𝒂! 𝑴𝒂𝒚𝒃𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒆 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑰 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝒚𝒂 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒐 𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑸𝒖𝒊𝒓𝒌, 𝑨𝒍𝒚𝒙! 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖'𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒆 𝒂𝒔 𝒄𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒔 𝒎𝒆!" Younger Kariya proudly claimed.

"𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒉! 𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒉! 𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒂 𝒃𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝒃𝒓𝒐!" Younger Alyx giggled.

Leonidus looked up at the sky, "I guess... To quote someone from a thing I read, 'If love is just a word, then why does it hurt when you realize it isn't there'?"

Mikaboshi didn't say a word, he stood next to Leonidus before phasing back into him. Alyx stood up and slung his bag over his arm. He flew down towards his home, Leonidus unlocked the door then walked inside his home.

"Ah, Alyx yo- Goodness! What happened, dear?" Marie greeted.

"I ran into... W-Well... I ran into Kariya while I was coming home. I'd assume you can guess what else happened, Pro Heroes are gonna be knocking on our door at any minute, maybe?"

Marie quickly grabbed a wet cloth and wiped her son's face off. His younger sister, Liz, ran up to him with concern on her face.

"Are you okay, Aly?" She asked.

"Yeah, I'm okay."

He crouched down and patted Liz's head. She moved forward to hug him, as Alyx tried to pull her off, she wouldn't let go! Alyx patted Liz's head but got no response from her.

[The Next Day...]

In the Class 1-A classroom after their morning classes, the students were talking about the tremors from the previous day, they also conversed about the increasing number of reporters standing outside of U.A.

"Yeah, those tremors were crazy! You think it was some sort of giant villain or somethin'?" Mina questioned.

"W-Well about that... I uh... That was me."

"Woah, for real? What were you doing, man?" Kirishima responded.

"I ran into my brother that I haven't seen in forever and we fought. It was broken up by the evil spirit ordered to possess me by my bitch of a grandmother!"

The class stopped speaking at stared at Alyx blankly as he kept smiling. Bakugo lowered one of his eyebrows as he looked at Leonidus. Before he could say a word, Shota walked into the room, the students immediately sat down in their seats.

"Okay, everyone, we'll be doing something a bit different this morning. You'll be deciding between a Class Representative and Vice Representative. You'll be voting amongst yourselves, one rule, 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 vote for yourself." Aizawa announced.

The students got to work, writing down two names on a piece of paper. After several minutes, Shota gathered the slips of paper from them, then wrote down the results on the chalkboard.

"So, Class 1-A's Vice Representative is Momo Yaoyorozu. And with somewhat of a blow out, Class 1-A's Class Representative is... Alyx Leonidus." Shota informed.

Momo and Alyx stood up then walked forward to the front of the class. Leonidus had a bit of a confused look on his face.

"You guys picked me as Class Rep? Why's that?" He wondered.

"After everything you did during those combat trials, that's why! Seeing those 3 Quirks in action really left us impressed!" Kirishima grinned.

"Indeed, not to mention your combat prowess during it, having someone like you leading our class would be most beneficial! Perhaps maybe we can learn somethings from you?" Iida chimed in.

Leonidus nodded at their encouragement, "Alright! I'll do my best, thank you all!"

The class was dismissed for lunch, Alyx walked out of the classroom with Yaoyorozu, Kaminari, Jiro, Kirishima, and Mina. They made their way to the cafeteria, before they got food, they noticed a girl with horns looking at the menu with trouble.

"Hey, that's the one girl from yesterday, she was having a bit of a hard time trying to figure things out and ended up not getting anything. Poor thing!" Mina noted.

"You guys go ahead and get something to eat, I'll see if I can't figure out what she needs." Alyx told them.

Alyx walked forward towards the girl and smiled at her, "Heya! Do you need help with something?"

"U-Um... I'm sorry, I can't really understand you besides your 'Hello'."

Leonidus realized that she spoke perfect English, but not so much perfect Japanese, he chuckled to himself after realizing.

"Oh! My apologies, I guess I should've known! I asked if you needed help with something." Alyx bubbled in English.

"Holy heck! You speak English? My name's Pony Tsunotori! Wait a sec... Aren't you that Leonidus kid? The-"

"-Pro Heroes Overdrive and Blood Rage's kid? Yep, that's me! It's a pleasure to meet you, Pony!"

Pony nodded back at him, "Likewise! Now... What exactly is for lunch?"

Alyx showed Pony the different options for lunch. The two picked out what they wanted for lunch then went to find a table to sit at. Leonidus looked at Pony's horns with intrigue.

"You know, I'll never understand the way Quirks effect some appearances. I mean, back in America, I've got a friend who's a Grizzly Bear!"

"Woah, really? They must've been super cute when they were a baby! How was life in America for you?"

"It had a lot of ups but a few major downs as well. I was recommended here for some reason, I'm unsure why, maybe because of my Quirks? There's even-"

Suddenly, alarms go off, some of the students begin to panic. Leonidus quickly activated his Overdrive as he stood up from his seat.

"Everyone! Stay together! Whatever's going on, we can't panic!" Alyx shouted.

"The alarms go off when someone's breached the wall!" A student yelled to him.

Suddenly, a seemingly familiar scent hit Alyx's nose, his eyes widened as his Quirk deactivated. He pushed through some students as he ran down towards the exit.

"Alyx! Where are you going?" Izuku asked.

Leonidus didn't say a word, he ran out of the cafeteria, then followed the scent.

"𝘚𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦! 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵... 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘮𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘭... 𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘢 𝘣𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳! 𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘯𝘰𝘸... 𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘸?!" He thought.

Alyx pushed through crowds of students as he tracked the scent further. Nervous sweat began to drip down his face before it turned to one of anger. He shoved through the kids as he slowly reached U.A.'s entrance.

"𝘋𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘦𝘭𝘢... 𝘋𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘦𝘭𝘢 𝘓𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘥𝘶𝘴! 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘓𝘢𝘶𝘳𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘷𝘦 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥! 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦, 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘐 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘵! 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯'𝘵 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦! 𝘐 𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘳... 𝘐 𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘳!" He thought once more.

He opened the entrance doors and stood in front of the newly blown open wall. Several feet away, stood a man with hands covering most parts of his body, most of the reporters were scattered due to fear from the explosion. The man and Alyx locked eyes, he saw his piercing blood red eyes underneath the hand on his face.

"𝘐𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵...? 𝘕𝘰, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳'𝘴. 𝘏𝘦 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵'𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴! 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘪𝘴? 𝘜𝘯𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴..." He continued.

A portal appeared in front of the man; he walked through it. His scent completely disappeared from the area. A hand fell on Alyx's shoulder, he quickly turned around to see Shota standing next to him.

"Something wrong? What do you think you're doing out here?"

"I-I smelled her! My grandmother! But it was some weird guy with a bunch of hands on him, I saw him for a brief second before he disappeared! I didn't get too much of a good look on his face, but I have his scent now!"

"That's good to know, but that doesn't give you any reason to rush out to play hero when you don't even have a license yet. You should've known better, Leonidus."

Leonidus bowed in shame, "Yes sir... That's not how a Class Rep should act, sorry Mr. Aizawa."

Alyx headed back inside as Shota got rid of some of the trespassing press reporters. As Leonidus walked back to the lunchroom, he couldn't get his mind off the hand wearing man. Not only him, but his grandmother, and Kariya as well.

[30 Minutes Later...]

The situation calmed down as everyone returned to their respective classrooms. Shota walked into the room with an annoyed look on his face, even more than usual.

"I'm gonna make this quick. Today you'll be taking part of a rescue exercise for your Basic Hero Training class. Being that All Might is running late, I'll be coming with you all, you'll be boarding a bus as soon as you put on your hero costumes. Now, get to it." Aizawa instructed.

Everyone got up from their seats and headed to the changing rooms. Yaoyorozu noticed Alyx's changed demeanor; she could tell he was in deep thought about something. The students entered their respective changing rooms, everyone noticed Alyx's unusual silence.

"Yo, everything alright, Leonidus?" Kaminari asked.

"When those alarms went off, I smelled what I thought was my grandmother, but it wasn't her at all. That smell of pure evil, I never thought someone else could match it..." Alyx's voice trailed off.

Kirishima put on his sleeves, "Sooo... You're saying someone else matched her scent? Dude, do you have four Quirks or something? I didn't know you could track people."

"No, my Total Concentration Breathing training improved my scent and other things. You know that electric attack I used during the combat trial? Using this sword, I'm able to do those attacks, they're called 'Breathing Styles'. Those attacks aren't Quirks, they're natural techniques anyone can learn, it just takes time to do so. I'll only use them against villains as defensive measures. Or when I need to make the kill if I have no other choice."

"Total Concentration Breathing? I've never heard of that before." Izuku responded.

Alyx looked over at him, "I figured as much, it's a technique that's about maybe almost 200 years old if not more? I can even do it in my sleep!"

"Well, duh, you kinda have to breath when you sleep!" Kaminari chuckled.

"Shut the hell up, idiot." Bakugo growled.

The boys eventually left the locker room then boarded the bus with the girls. Yaoyorozu sat next to Alyx and poked his arm.

"Are you doing okay? You seem a little tense." Momo observed.

"I just don't feel right about leaving school. After everything that's happened, the air still feels tense."

"Perhaps you're still shaken up by what happened at lunch? I overheard the others talking about what you said, it wouldn't surprise me if that's what you're feeling. I'm certain that we'll be alright."

Alyx smiled at her positivity, "Yeah, I guess so. Still, I'll keep my guard up, just in case anything does happen!"

The bus made its way to the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, otherwise known as The U.S.J. An hour later, the students arrived and entered the large observatory-like building.

"Good afternoon, trainees! I'm Space Hero: Thirteen, I'll be guiding you through your Basic Hero Training. There's one thing I'd like you to remember, your powers aren't just used to inflict harm. I hope you leave this place with the understanding that you're meant to help people." Thirteen greeted.

Leonidus stood at the front of the class; Shota turned around to point out the various areas.

"Allow me to tell you what each zone is. Zone One, the Ruins Zone, this place simulates a destroyed urban environment. Zone Two, the Landslide Zone, this area simulates that of a landslide with a sloped terrain and various large obstacles. Next is the-" Aizawa informed them.

A scent hit Alyx's nose which immediately sparked his Overdrive, "Mr. Aizawa! Someone's here!"

Thirteen and Shota looked down towards the Central Plaza, a dark portal opened up and dozens upon dozens of villains walked out of it. Finally, the man Alyx seen stepped out alongside two other individuals. The man in the middle scratched his neck with disappointment.

"Huh... I guess All Might isn't here, I wonder why?" He muttered.

"Thirteen! Get the kids out of here, I'll handle these guys." Aizawa shouted to her.

"A-Are you sure, Mr. Aizawa? We can help you!" Izuku fretted.

He looked back towards Midoriya, "I'll be fine, trust me, this isn't my first rodeo with villains."

Shota charged into battle as Thirteen attempted to escort the students out of the building. Suddenly, they were surrounded by a purple and black mass, preventing them from escaping the U.S.J.

"Good afternoon, I am Kurogiri, a member of the League of Villains. Our only goal here is to kill All Might, I cannot allow any of you to leave." Kurogiri echoed.

Before he could teleport them to different locations, Leonidus tried to surround the others in a shield, but was only able to surround himself and Iida.

"Iida, you have to go get help!" Alyx told him.

"But I can't leave you all here! It wouldn't be right for me to do that!"

"Don't worry, we'll be alright, I won't let anyone get hurt! I promise you that, so please, go get help!"

Iida looked to the side then back towards Alyx, he nodded and took off towards the entrance. Kurogiri appeared in front of him, but an Overdrive Whip wrapped around him, slamming him into a far eastern wall. Alyx gave Iida a thumbs up before he darted out of the U.S.J. Leonidus stood next to Thirteen as he waited for her instruction.

"Alright, you need to help Eraser Head! That giant bird monster is gonna be tough for him to handle on his own. Hurry!" Thirteen spoke up.

Alyx nodded then took off towards the Central Plaza. A villain attempted to attack Shota from behind but was knocked clear across the plaza by Leonidus.

"Helping out? Thirteen told you to do this, right?" Aizawa asked.

"Yes sir!"

"Good, let loose, Alyx."

Leonidus let off a wave of Overdrive that took out a large majority of the low-class villains. He set his sights on the ginormous creature standing next to the man he saw in front of U.A. hours prior. The beast stomped towards him and stood there as Leonidus pelted him with strikes and kicks to his stomach. The creature stood there before cackling at him. Leonidus backed up to see that none of his attacks even put a scratch on him.

"You see, this Nomu here was designed to kill All Might, I doubt you'll get very far. We've created this thing to be the perfect weapon, Shock Absorption and Regeneration are quite the combination, Wannabe." The man informed him.

"I'll give you a chance, leave now, All Might won't be coming here anytime so-" Leonidus told him.

He looked over at the Nomu who had a villain in his clutches, it crushed him without any effort. Shota sensed a change in the air, he turned around and looked at Alyx as he stood motionless, Aizawa took advantage of the situation and charged towards the Nomu and the man. Alyx broke out of his trance as he saw Shota run past him, he saw Laura in his place for a brief moment. His fear conquered him once more and was going to cost not him, but Aizawa.

"No, wait!" Alyx shouted.

Shota ducked under the Nomu's large hand as it swung at him. Leonidus watched as the Nomu grabbed Shota by his capture weapon and slammed him into the ground. The Nomu tossed him around like a ragdoll before throwing him over to Alyx.
