So let us begin.

~

1.)World:

The world is called Ester. It was created by the Old Gods During the Era of Chaos. It is a sword and magic type world and is based in a medieval-ish setting.

World's average power: Grade 9 individuals are common in the world, as it is possible for a person to reach this grade by just living, though it will still take about 40 years. Any Mana over grade 7 is extremely rare due to the war during the Ruin Era. So it is rare to find people over grade 7.

~

2.)Eras:

These are time periods where a large event changes the world.

The Era of Beginning: The Era in which the world and the Old God's were created. It was an Era of Emptiness.

The Era of Chaos:

The Era wherein the Gods created numerous species. It is the era of war where the strong and intelligent ruled. This is also referred to as the Era of Elimination as numerous species didn't survive.

The Era of Peace:

With the gods done creating new species, the world fell into order. Everyone found their place based on their strengths. Cities were built and weapons were created. This Era resembled the cold war. A time of peace, but also one of the upcoming fear.

The Era of Ruin:

This Era begins with the Otodolan war. It is called that because the Otodolans started the war. It was a war everyone was a part of, a war that almost destroyed the world. The Era mainly consists of survivors of the war trying to survive the barren wasteland that was left behind. Almost no records of the past eras have survived this era. Most Gods were also lost in this Era.

The Era of Rebirth:

The Era where old species, once thought extinct, reappear. It is the current Era. The world is slowly coming back into order and growth is the focus of the world. Man is rare as most of it was used in the previous Era. Sadly a feeling hangs in the air, a feeling most want to ignore but is still there. The feeling of war.

~

3.)Gods:

There are two types of Gods in the world of Ester. They are the Old Gods and the New Gods. The Old Gods were made by the Goddess of Creation during the Era of Beginnings. The New Gods are mortals who took the places of the Old Gods who were lost. Each God has their church that follows the God they are under.

Old Gods:

Karja: The Goddess of Creation. She created the other God's in the Era of Beginnings. Not much is known of her as after the Era of Beginnings she vanished from history.

Thorodan: The God of Time and Space. He is the oldest among the Old Gods. He is not a very well-known God as he doesn't interact with the world often. The species he created are the Shifters.

Kevian: The God of Desire and Emotion. An Old God who lives life to his whims. He might smite a city one day and create one the next. He is one of the most active Gods in the world of Ester. The species he created are Humans.

Donovan: The God of War and Earth. He is an angry God who loves to play games that involve blood. The species he created are the beastmen and dwarves.

Lilith: The Goddess of Seasons and Change. A Kind God who loves all species and not just her own. She is the kindest God. The species she created are the Trent.

Rogar: The God of Disease and Famine. A God who loves to see mortals suffer. His church goes around the globe spreading disease, it is also the only church that Is being actively hunted. The species he created are the Plague.

Oren: God of Sleep and Dreams. A lazy God who is rumored to have slept for centuries. The species he created was the Dreamers.

Lidro: The God of Light and Darkness. A God of neutrality, he is a watcher and likes to record the knowledge of the mortals. Some regard him as the God of knowledge even if he isn't one. He didn't create a species.

New Gods:

Tione: The Goddess of Nature. A God who hates technology and thinks all should belong to nature. She is prideful and aloof and also favor's the elves.

Vagos: The God of Mana. A New God who effects the flow of Mana. The Favored God for Wielders. He is currently a weak God due to the lack of Mana in the world, but nobody disrespects him because of his potential.

Turen: The God of Trickery. A God who loves to play tricks on mortals by sending fake prophecies.

Edros: The God of Luck. The favored God for gamblers and warriors, because who doesn't need a bit of luck. He is a childish God who believes all will go his way.

Cerdite: The Goddess of Secrets. A mysterious God who most don't know about. She is the God who keeps the secrets of the Living and the dead.

Vihena: The Goddess of the Sea. She is a temperamental God who sinks ships and destroys coastal towns if angered.

Vacant Gods:

The God of Destruction: Vacant since Ruin Era.

The God of Building: Vacant since the Ruin Era.

The God of Heath: Vacant since the Peace Era.

The God of Justice: Vacant since the Era of Rebirth.

The God of Souls/The Guider: Vacant since the Ruin Era.

The God of Knowledge: Vacant since the Era of Ruin.

(You know now that I typed this, I realized I might never use it... If you have any suggestions for God's I'll never use in the story, let me know in the comments!)

4.)Sentient Species:

These are the species created by the Gods. Some species won't have a God who created them as they're the Gods are Lost.

Some species won't appear on the list as they can be classified by the main name. E.g. Wolf beastmen and Lion beastmen.

Humans: The most common race. They are not particularly strong or good at magic. The thing they are most known for is their creativity. When it comes to saving their kind or backstabbing it.

Elves: A elegant race that is known for their arrogance and beauty. Most live in the forests though you will rarely see them in cities. They have a high affinity for magic. They focus on grace. They dislike dwarves.

Dwarves: A strong, tough species that are really short. They are associated with hard physical work and masculinity. Dwarves are quick to anger and their culture is mainly focused on strength. They dislike elves.

Golems: Golems are created, not born. Though, most will be large and bulky thee are some that are the complete opposites. This simply depends on who created them. They are a very active race who hates stagnation.

Trents: Trents is a plant type species that can be found all over the world. They rarely venture out of their forests and will attack is someone tries to cut it down. Trents are gentle giants, but when crossed can be devastatingly strong.

The Undead: A broad range of species that are basically just the dead brought back to life.

Dragons: A old race created by the lost God of destruction. They are basically large reptilians that have a high affinity for magic. They were thought extinct during the Chaos Era.

7.)Strength levels:

Strength levels are put into different Grades depending on the amount of Arcane the body has.

Grade: The Grades range from 1 to 9 with 1 being the strongest and 9 being the weakest.

Grade 9=20 Arc

Grade 8=200 Arc

Grade 7=2.000 Arc

Grade 6=5.000 Arc

Grade 5=50.000 Arc

Grade 4=500.000 Arc

Grade 3=?

Grade 2=?

Grade 1=?

The Grade up from 7 to 6 requires less Mana to advance. This is so because of it less about Mana quantity and more about Mana purity and control. Even with the small difference in Mana quantity, there is still a large gap in power between the 2.

~

8.)Strengthening oneself:

There are two ways to become stronger in this world. The first is passive, the Body of a creature will passively absorb Mana in its surroundings.

The second is active and it can be split into its own three parts. You can eat Mana rich materials, exhaust your body and meditate in a Mana rich environment, or someone can forcibly transfer Mana into you, this method is painful and not recommended biological creatures as the change of death is high. You can achieve this by having someone of Grade 6 force the Mana into you. It only works on grade 9 power levels and with Mana of 9 or 8 purity. Any higher and the control needed to continue will be too difficult.

~

9.)Mana:

It is a form of energy that naturally appears across the world. It usually appears as a gas, but if concentrated it can be a liquid or even a solid. It is a way to control the elements or enhance the body. There is always a small amount of Mana in the air. It is not enough to be used and thus if anyone wants to collect Mana they need to go to a Mana rich area. These areas are guarded by Mana beasts. The purer the Mana the stronger the beast. It is measured in Arcane or Arc for short.

Mana purity:

Mana in the world has different levels of purity. It ranges from 1 to 9 with 1 being the purest and 9 being the least pure. The higher the purity the more Mana it holds.

10ml of:

Purity 9=1 Arc

Purity 8=5 Arc

Purity 7=25 Arc

Purity 6=50 Arc

Purity 5=250 Arc

Purity 4=1250 Arc

Purity 3=?

Purity 2=?

Purity 1=?

Mana rich area:

These are areas that have a high density of Mana. They are graded in the same way as Mana. The Mana they hold attracts animals which absorb the Mana becoming Mana Beasts. These areas are as rare as they are dangerous.

~

10.)Martial fighting style:

A Martial fighter uses Mana to within their body to strengthen it. They use their arts in the battle to increase the damage they can output.

Art: A special technique that differs from person to person. It is the embodiment of your soul and who you truly are. It enhances your ability to use Mana in a certain way counting on the type of art you have.

~

11.)Wielder fighting style:

A Wielder controls Mana outside of his body. They use different types of magic to do a large variety of things.

Types of magic possible:

Four elements: Fire, earth, water, wind.

Others: Space, time, gravity, nature, poison, light, darkness, mind, mana, soul(necromancy/summoning), lighting, ruinic(Enchanting).

~

12.)Currency:

The currency system on Ester is one of the only joint ventures the Kingdoms have done together. The entire known world uses the same currency. The currency of the world is called Zwhen or just Z for short. The price of a loaf of bread is 10Z.

~

13.)Materials:

In the world of Ester, you have the same materials as on Earth, but there are some fantasy ones as well. All these metals are rare and not seen often.

Mithral: A lightweight, strong, silvery metal, known for its ease of use.

Orichalcum: A heavy, soft, copper colored metal, known for its high magic resistance.

Adamantium: A heavy, very strong, blueish metal, known for being durable.

Scarlitite: A light, strong, red metal known for its ability to channel Mana more efficiently and the quirk of being as hot as fire.

Cold iron: A heavy, strong, dark blue metal known for its magic reflectivity and quirk of being as cold as ice.

~

14.)Dying:

In the "Universe" I created when a person dies their soul is protected by the Guider as he/she Guides it to the afterlife. The Afterlife is the realm of one's chosen, God. Since the Guider's seat is currently vacant souls are left to wonder the world and only if one has a firm belief in their God will the God Guide the soul in the Guider's place.
