11 Chap 9

"Now, now you don't need to cry. What would people say if they saw a big guy crying?" Asked Dumbledore with a teasing tone.

"Hum…if you say something, I will tell everybody that you snore in your sleeping…or…or…I will prank you." Replied Drake after he heard his dad teasing him while he cleaned the few tears. After a few more teasings between father and son, Drake remembered something.

"By the away Dad, do you know something about the new girl who went to Slytherin?" asked Drake.

"Oh…you probably are talking about Ms Scarlett?! Well, …she is the daughter of an old Dr…friend, which I owed a favour. She is from far away and arrived later, so I made a few arrangements…" replied Dumbledore to Drake while he grabbed his beard with a pensive look on his face.

"Oh, okay. I was just wondering who she was since I didn't see her on the train."

With this, the duo started to say goodbye since it was a late already for Drake be wandering the corridors of Hogwarts alone. Before he could pass through the door of dumbledore office, he heard his dad.

"I almost forgot, next time don't lose control of your Animagus form, you need to remember my advice in controlling it. Your Animagus form is very special and no one can know about it.

"Okay, Dad…but should I go alone or with some company?! Also, say hi to Alline and Alfred…I miss them a lot hehehe!" replied Drake as he gave a hug to Dumbledore.

"Well, I already call Mr Filch to accompany you to Gryffindor dorms and don't worry I will give them a word. Now off you go and don't let your pets out" said Dumbledore to him.

After Drake went down through the stairs of the Gargoyle statue, Mr Filch was waiting for him at the entrance with Ms Norris.

"Tsk…you again punk...follow me you brat," said Mr Filch with candle lamp on his hand and start walking to the Gryffindor dorms while rumbling between in teeth.

"Hehehehe! You are still lovely as the first time I met you…old rag "replied Drake chuckling.

"Tsk…there was a time when we could lock brats like you by your ankles to a wall upside-down…I bet those were good times."

"Well, you can try Mr Cranky Filch…but then you may find a few dung bombs inside your clothes, courtesy of Mr Peeves and Drake."

"Tsk…you brat! Let's see who has the last laugh, I will be watching you."

After these exchange of words between the two people, the rest of the walk to the Gryffindor dorms were made in silent, only the sound of steps through the dark halls of Hogwarts and the snoring of a few paintings could be heard. A few moments after they arrived at moving staircases and after a few turns, they arrived in front of a painting, The Fat Lady painting.

"Hum…you stinky brat, I already delivered you to the entrance now…the rest is with you…but if I find you taking a toll at night…you will regret it." Said Mr Filch as he started to walk away and leave Drake alone with the fat lady.

"Don't you worry Mr Stink Fish, you won't notice me hehehehe!" replied Drake to Mr Filch which start cursing him.

"Now that's out of away, let's try and see if playing the nice role with her results," thought Drake while he started to wake up The Fat Lady.

"Excuse me, my Lady, I was called to the Dum…to the headmaster office and I got late…can you let me pass?" asked Drake in kind and lower tone.

"Hum…you wake me up when I was in my beauty sleep and you want me to let you in… I shouldn't do it but as you wake me up nicely perhaps, I could help you…let me think." Answered the Fat Lady to Drake with an annoyed tone.

"Oh…please it's the first time I'm here and after I left The great Hall, I was called by the headmaster and I didn't know where it was and also didn't hear the password too" said Drake in a sad tone to the fat lady.

"Well…I could have let you in, but you don't know the password so I can't do anything to help you…sorry boy, it's my job."

"Oh, c'mon…ug…Fat Lady, I need to go to sleep, you heard Mr Cranky…please." Said Drake as he was getting pissed by her. While they were talking a bird came from another painting and landed on her shoulder and gave the Fat Lady a message.

"Well, young boy it seems someone as said a few good words about you and with some other things, I decided to let you in. But it would be the first and last time I do this" said the fat lady as painting moved and behind it passage to the Gryffindor tower.

As Drake went through the round passage, he arrived at the common room. The room was decorated in tones of red and gold and with fireplace on the wall. The mantle of the fireplace is adorned with a portrait of a golden lion. It was a cosy room fill with squashy armchairs.

Drake observed the common room for a few moments before he went upstairs to the boy's dorm. He arrived at the dorms and saw the red curtains with the letter "G" in gold adorned it. The other boys were already asleep with one of them still reading. He walked to the only free bed after he grabbed his suitcase, he opened and took out his sleeping clothes. After he dressed up, he said goodnight and went to sleep.

Before the sun started to rise, Drake woke up and before he went to inside his suitcase, he looked up to see if any of the new boys were awake. Seeing all of them asleep, he went inside it. As he entered, he was received first by Z, followed by a three-headed dog Star. After playing with them and feed them he went to the place where Jade was, followed by Z and Star. They are the only beasts that usually are in the big general room, the other two are in their habitats. The general room is like a living room except for the several doors with different names on it and with circular stairs that would go up and down.

He went to one of the doors which was named Jade. As he opened the door and went in, the scenery changed the room transformed into a volcanic mountain with a crater on top of it and surrounded by a ring of vegetations according to the different heights. The distinct rings of flora pass through dense lowland forest, montane forest, scrub, tussock lands, alpine herb fields, and alpine rock gardens. Near the summit, only lichens survive. This was made in accord with the New Zealand habitat, not on the same scale. The crater was decorated with several precious metals and stones.

When Drake arrived it, Jade already knew that it was him, so she went flying and before she crushed against him, she slowed down and started to rub her head on his. He patted and played with her by transforming into a Hungarian horntail Dragon. He had the same form except for the red and silver scales. Only his eyes remained the same green with red speckles. Both Dragons weren't very big since they were still young. Drake played with all his three beasts and at the same time was training by maintaining his Animagus form a get used to it. After a few more playtime and some patting, he left the room and went to Greenie's room.

This room was covered by big trees and in the branches, a few green spiny cocoons could be seen hanging out from it. In the middle of those, there was one that was bigger than the rest. When Drake entered, he called Greenie which in turn left her cocoon and went to greet him by landing on his head.

"Hehehe! It seems your family is growing well; I bought some food for you and them." Said Drake while he patted Greenie head.

After playing a few more time with his beasts Drake went to the room followed by the four beasts.

"So, now after my classes, I will bring you to Hagrid and you can all play outside in the dark forest until then you need to behave" talked Drake to his beasts.

After a few more playing, he looked at the watch.

"Fuck! I'm going to be late for classes, I lost to much time with these ladies…I could use the time turner…maybe later. I need to ask Dad about time magic book…to see if I can manipulate time inside the spatial objects…that would be neat." Thought Drake went to a small bathroom in the room.

After he finished, he activates special magic, made by Nicolas Flamel, where he could observe the outside of his suitcase. He saw that no one was in the dorms, so he left it and took out his hat from the small space pouch in his pendant and went to the classes.

It going to be his first day of classes and the first one is shared with the Ravenclaw house and he can talk again with Cho and make fun of furball Cormac. As he walked out of his dorms, he saw Katie a few girls from Gryffindor leaving too.

"Hey! Katie did you get some sleep?" asked Drake

"Yes, and you? Are you excited about it?" retorted Katie back.

"Yup…well probably it will be too easy but…it's okay." Said Drake as he tried to show how excited he was.

"Yeah, yeah let's see if you say that after classes Drake." Replied Katie as she and the other girls started giggling.

"Right, let's get going," said annoyed Drake with the behaviour of the girls.
