"So, my mom told me that after the war ended Dumbledore come to her a few more times to ask her about a legend…the legend of the cursed vaults. My mom asked him why he wanted to know, and he replied that a few things happened in the school related to them. For what she told me, a boy had opened supposedly one of them which freed cursed ice into the school grounds. He was later expelled and disappeared" said Scarlett.
"Why would Dumbledore visit your mother," asked Cho intrigued with her because why would the greatest wizard visit her mother.
"About…that…she…is a very…a close friend of him" answered Scarlett while looking at Drake.
"Well, that's beside the point…we just need to hear what her mother said hehehe…the rest…doesn't matter" said Drake while a drop of sweat started to fall since he never predicted that Cho would pay attention to this curiosities. Katie just nodded at them.
*cought* *cought* *cought*
"Okay…so…my mother also told me that a few students together with a teacher opened four vaults and after that, the teacher tried to kill the students but failed and according to those a student there is a fifth vault and Dumbledore was interested in it" continued Scarlett after she was interrupted.
"Wow…so everything is real…" said Katie with an amazing look.
"That's is unbelievable…a teacher trying to kill students, dragons and fire Knights…and all that in our school…if my mom knew…she wouldn't let me enroll in here…" commented Cho.
"Okey, okay…no one died and the school it's fine so, there is no problem…at least for now. I think what we need to do now its go to the place of the fourth vault and see if there were any clues there because according to with this book, all the other cursed vaults had clue, I think we should start there."
"I agree with Drake, we need to visit that place, we could also talk with some portraits in the area, I think they know something for sure" answered Scarlett.
"Yeah, I agree with both ideas," said Cho followed by a nod of Katie.
"And I know the perfect ghost that could help us with that, with the right price…." commented Drake.
"Hey Drake, did you decoded already the rest of the ancient runes in the beaker?" remembered Cho.
"No, I'm still waiting for the letter of my uncle and the teacher also doesn't know these runes…he even said that they weren't ancient runes and that I was messing with him" replied Drake.
"Of course, you already have a reputation among the students and the teachers, even Cormac avoids you now heheheeh!" Said Katie laughing followed by the Cho and Scarlett.
"By the away, Cho…I heard a few rumors that you and Cedric were talking hihihihihi!" said Katie giggling.
"Yup, me too, he is handsome and its exemplar students," said Scarlett.
"Hum…no…. we just talked one…time…" replied Cho blushing, she looked at them and then Drake.
Katie and Scarlett also looked at Drake.
"What?! It doesn't concern me! You can talk and like whoever you want…I don't know why are you three looking at me like that!"
"Well, you know…we never saw you with other boys, except for the twins or other girls…so you may care about what we do…I don't know" said Katie.
"What is the logic behind that? Just because I'm with you it doesn't mean that I like you three in that away…besides we are too young for that…and we have more to be worried then playing to husband and wife" replied Drake.
"Hehehehehe! Calm down Drakie, you are too worked out about it" said Scarlett laughing accompanied by Katie and Cho.
While they were talking it was getting late, so they decided to wait for Hagrid and fetch Drake beasties and go inside Hogwarts.
"Oh yeah Drake, tomorrow you will duel against Jacob from my house, right? Are you ready for it?" remembered Scarlett.
"Oh, please, probably only you are my match among all the students until the fifth year…I think maybe some geniuses can match me. And tomorrow it will be nothing much" replied Drake.
"Aren't you being a little overconfident?! And, being a little cocky saying that no one from the first years could match you except for Scarlett?" asked Cho with a little frown.
"Hahahahaha! My dear Cho…you don't know how powerful I am…let me show you just a little bit. We should go outside, shall we?"
They went outside near the dark forest; Drake took his hat off and summoned his wand from it.
The ladies already knew that he could summon objects from his hat. A few weeks before they discovered that he could do that and asked him where he had gotten that hat. Drake replied saying it was a gift from his uncles. Since that day, and with all the scores he had in the classes, they knew that probably he belonged to a very powerful family. But for some reason, he wouldn't tell them which one was.
When they were outside, Drake didn't say anything and only made a very fast and complex wand movement. A red flame jet went out from his wand, the ladies who were a little bit further away from him could fill the heat coming from his wand. The jet fire went in contact with the tree, burning all of them to crisps, it was like hell descended upon them, flames and smoke started to rise from it. They started to get worried about him and the consequences of such a serious spell. After that Drake stopped and with another movement of his wand the flames and smoke started to go into his wand, the temperature started to decrease to normal levels. A few moments, everything disappeared as it was nothing, the only marks of such spell were the burned trees and vegetation.
"Well…this is just a portion of my power…that was an "incendia tria" magic, the most powerful version of the same spell. Before you could ask, I know a lot of spells which doesn't need chants to do it and fire-based spell are my specialty. Now just let me take care of the burned trees."
Drake took of a small vile from his hat and started to pour it on the ground after he did it, he called for Z. Zouwus are known to be guardians beast and Drake discovered that with certain elements together with it, they could improve very fast the vegetation growth.
While they were waiting for Z, Cho and Katie come to Drake followed behind by Scarlett.
"What the hell Drake, how can you launch such a powerful spell in the middle of school grounds…and if you go for the duel and launch it…you…you could…kill…somebody" yelled Cho at him.
"Wow! Drake, I knew you were an expert in charms and DADA but I didn't know you were that strong and the mastery of the fire element it's perfect and you didn't chant it…" said Katie.
Scarlett just smiled at him and nodded.
"Well, I won't do this spell tomorrow and also…I won't use chantless spells...I don't want anyone to know. I would like it that this could be another secret between us" said Drake.
"Why are you like that, you won't say anything to him…we just saw him launch a spell that could put the forest on fire and it was chant less one…and…and he could even make it disappeared into his wand…and you won't say anything?!" said Cho turning to Scarlett.
"Hey! Cho calm down! I'm not surprised by it because I already kn…suspected that he could do it. After connecting all the points in the different classes and how those strange spells would always happen to Cormac…I suspected it was all Drake doing." Replied Scarlett while grinning at her.
"What?! This is too much…" said Cho.
"Hahaahaha! So, it was you're doing all the time? I had my suspicions too…it was too much coincidence." Said Katie too.
While Drake answered to Cho questions about the chantless spells, Z and the other beasts flew and ran from inside the forest with an extra beast following them, more precisely following Star.
Before they arrived at them all the beasts stopped and look at the burned forest patch.
"Yeah, yeah! Guys I know, that's why I called you Z. Could you use your powers to make it grow faster? I already spread the enhancement plant growth factor."
After the little talk, the beasts went to Drake and started to lick and snuggling him, which won a laughing from the ladies. Star also came followed by Fluffy, when Fluffy saw Start all over Drake, he started to growl at him, which won a stare from Star.
"Easy girl! He is just jealous," said Drake to Star. After that, he went to Fluffy and started to pat him.
The other beasts also went to greet Cho, Katie, and Scarlett except for Jade which just stared at the latter.
"Scarlett, you and Jade should have a moment alone to sort out the things between you two," said Katie joking seeing the same situation all over again.
"I agree with Katie" followed Cho.
"I don't think that would be a very great idea…but we need to do something about that" replied Drake.
"I think I would like to talk with the midget here," said Scarlett looking at jade while she started to lick her lips.
Drake seeing the situation getting out of hand, sends a telepathic message to Jade and eyes Scarlett to calm down. Drake started to think on a way to make Scarlett inside his suitcase and face Jade inside it.
