Chapter 8. Night Hag??

It was night the Salvatore student were all asleep when there was suddenly a noise from outside the window.

Pedro who was a child got up and go and check what was outside the window. He found nothing so he close the window then turn around. What he found behind him was a floating haggard hag spreading her arms to reach him.

"Ahhhhh" He awake screaming on his bed.

"Pedro, it just a dream" a girl shouted at her.

"What the plan this time?" Hope ask while walking hand in hand with Landon. "Don't forget we are going to prepare for the animgas ritual. That what we are going to do this week" He reply then stop looking at Pedro running around playing with other kid.

"What? What is it?" Hope ask in puzzling. "Pedro is it? He seem to have this dark remnant on him. Nevermind it might be my own imagination"

"So let go and prepare for the ritual" he said and lead Hope outside the clearing.

"Here, we use this place for them. It has good geography and the moon can shine right here" Landon said while walking around writing runes to prevent any external force to interrupt the ritual.

Hope also helps and write some runes use for the ritual copying it from the books.

"Phew, that was fun" she said sweating all over making her look sexy.

"Gulp, yes you right" Landon tries to hold his urge to jumped at Hope.

"Need a help?" Hope said teasing him which he walks over "if you can help me with my urges"

"No,no,no let stop here. We need to finish the preparation then we can do it in your room" he stop his advances trying so hard not looking at Hope. Hope also feel embarrassing almost making out in the outdoor.

"Yes, you right we should finish this then we can do it in my room" she kiss Lan then return to work.

They took all the ingredients and mixed them inside the cauldron.

"Now we just need to leave it here until the full moon to bask under the stars and moon. Don't worry about anything I already erect a formation around it to prevent anything corporal or in-corporal" Lan said then carry Hope away.

They reach the school when they were called to the principal office. They reach the office and found Josie with Raf including the Dr. Saltzman.

"Hope, Landon the thing is, our monster already arrived. It was a night Hag. He intrude people dream when they sleep" Alaric told them what monster that arrive and it weakness.

"What you mean a Hag? Look at Raf hand isn't Hag suppose to unable to harm people?" Landon said while approaching his brother checking his arm.

"That what we also thought. I let Dorian look into it. Now we need all the student to assemble while you help look into it" Alaric said while Landon look at Hope eyes.

"Seem like we need to kill this wanna be Hag before it interrupt us doing our sacred duel" He whisper to her ear which brought huge amount of blood to her face.

"Let go. We need to act faster I need to see how strong your stamina is" she said dragging Landon away.

"What was that?" Ask Raf looking at Josie. "Don't know, don't care" she reply. She kiss Raf then drag him outside.

"Hope, as I search around I found this monster it an Oneiro. It look bat like creature. We just need to pull it out of the spirit plane to the material world then we can kill it" she look over listening to Landon then he stopped and look at her. "You know you an intelligent girl. You know what to do with the urn right?" He suddenly ask her in a serious question.

She smirk then she whisper "I know, why don't you go and hide it at.."

Landon raise his eyebrow then smile in realization he went and take the urn.

While this is happening they already told Alaric about the plan which he refuse and took it away.

Landon, Kaleb, MG and Raf stay behind and do their own plan. They plan to sleep and bring the Hag or the now identify Oneiro to the material plane.

They all fall asleep and they have nightmare.

Landon found himself in a battlefield with all children lay waste surrounding him wearing Kirigakure headband.

"Eheheheheh! Are you sure that with this I will feel scared not angry" he said with anger seething out of his teeth. "Show your self!!!"

"Landon, you know what I want get it to me. Where is it tell me" the hag or the Oneiro show up among the corpses.

"Show your true face pig nose!!!" The Oneiro show his true face while Landon run to it and German smash it.

"Ahhhh" all the boys gasped for air awake finding Landon rush to the door and caught Hope who was thrown by the Oneiro.

"Impudent!!!! Not only you shown me those but now you have the nerve to hurt her. Fire Release: Great Fire Phoenix "!!! He mold his fire ability and send out a Phoenix Fire from his mouth.

The fire phoenix flew and burn burn the pig nose Oneiro to ashes. Hope and co were amazed by his ability especially his one hand sign.

"Are you ok?" He checked Hope for any injury and found one scratch. "Oh no, seem like you have a scratch...let go find some healers to treat it" he was full of panic trying to dragged her to the healer if the one. "Relax, Landon relax it nothing it will heal naturally" Hope placate him which works albeit a little.

"Woohoo, seem like we made a good team. Landon what that hand sign that you made before you breath fire?" MG being MG ask.

"Oh when I try to use my magic I have to mold it and that where my hand sign came in it will help me to do so. Let go to Dr. Saltzman and brief him that we finish here" he walk out hugging Hope.
