Chapter 5. Mother and Malivore.

MC's POV.

After kissing Hope I found this tattoo on the back of my palm. I look at it and thought of the bond between mates. It looks like a wolf howling with a phoenix hugging the wolf.

I was shocked to found out that I also have a bond, maybe this was the extra gift from that ROB. Foolish of me not wishes for eidetic memory to remember everything now I'm in the dark. On the good side I have adventure a head of me and maybe some exploration.

I didn't go to New Orleans like what Hope told me. I went to find my mother. In my first life I have a mother but I was a gangster child and close them off and choose animes and other entertainment. I just want the warm of my mother again.

I searched and found a cafe where a woman who look like my mother from the photo.

I stay there in the cafe trying to get all the courage to talk to her.

Weeks goes by and haven't get that courage. I also did not stay anymore and spent my time self-study. I do visit her sometimes, when I had the courage and my study also complete. I was a lazy type genius when I like to study I can absorbed many information and process them in a quick way. Which was my own talent when I also went to the Elemental Nation and I pour everything in my training becoming a top powerhouse who can contend against the tail-beast. But I really hate studying if I'm not bored.

"Umm, can I have one cup of coffee" I ask nervously.

"Coming right up" Seylah or the woman that was my mother answered, "you know, you are my number one customer. Give me your name"

"Landon" I said while looking at her. "Good name"

"Thanks it was you who gives me the name" I said showing her the picture. She look at me puzzle then invite me to her house.

I didn't think of anything and just follow her. I missed too to have a mother. I eat some sandwiches that she give then I fed the dog.

I look around saw the urn. I don't know why but looking at this urn it felt familiar with the knife.

Click. I turn and saw my mother and walk to her.

"I'm sorry for stopping by I just want to came and ask the reason why did you leave me in the orphanage" while talking she just nodding which makes me embarrassed "um I'm really sorry for being here I have to go if you don't feel comfortable with me..." I didn't finish my words when I feel dizzy I press the button then passed out.

I awake inside the basement tied into a chair.

'what an idiots, I dropped my guard when I met my mother now what I'm gonna do' I thought looking around.

Seylah came in and question me. "Who are you and what are you doing here? And who do you call? Said it"

"I call the Salvatore Boarding school. It was a school for supernatural kids. I am Landon Kirby and grew in a foster system. I just want to find you and hear from you why did you abandon me" I said in one breath. I have no strength so I better co-operate from here or I'll be tortured beside this is a lawful world not the Shinobi world.

Stoom. The light was off and Seylah said, "they here" while walking away.

"Who's here? Hey where are you going, don't leave me here as a sitting duck"!!

Creak! 'shit what's that?' I look at the door and saw a monster approaching me with crunching bones when it steps.

It reached me which scare the hell out of my gut. I do hand sign of Fire release: fireball, but forgot that I haven't awaken my phoenix abilities.

Slash a katana cut through the the monster and there she is my mother with a blade.

"Let go" she dragged me away to a nearby motel.

"I am your mother. I just want to make sure that no one controls you" she said while hugging me.

"Why did you leave me?" I asked my most desire.

"I can't keep you or you will be in danger" she said, "did you have any friends? Girlfriend?"

"I have a friend or to be more specific my brother. We grew up in the foster system and have each other back" I said, "for my girlfriend, there's this girl her name's Hope. I love her but I don't really know how she feels about me. So yeah, I waited for her to open up more to me" I said while subconsciously caressing my tattoo.

"It good...." She suddenly stop and told me to hide

The door opens with a crossbow man step in. He walks then stopped on his track feeling a gun on his head.

"Who are you?" My mom said "we here for Landon we are his friend" I stepped out when I feel my tattoo getting warm which means that Hope was here.

"It ok, mom this is Alaric the principal of the Salvatore Boarding school and Hope"

She lowered her gun then walk to me, "so she's the girl uh" she look at my hand them at Hope's. I also look at Hope's hand and found the same tattoo but this time the Phoenix was guarded by the wolf.

"Landon!!" She rush toward me and we hugged each other.

"Hi, I'm Landon mom. I was a previous soldier when I finish my service I was invited to works in the triad to deal with monsters. I feel depress from work and went to grab a drink and have a crashed. I don't know who's your father Landon I'm sorry" she introduce herself to Alaric then walks off.

I smile at Hope and walks toward her. So you also got the bond right?" I ask taking her hand. "Looks like I'm some type of bird? While you as wolf with magic" she look at me then smile happily. "Landon, now we know your kind a bird man..pfft" she can't hold it and she laughed. "What? Know I bet that my father was a were-eagle. Which show the reason why I was so intelligence and courageous"

We laughed then we kissed each other. We almost reach the climax, I pull out my clothes and Hope also starting to undress when Alaric came in.

"Shit" I jumped down the bed to hide. "What did you guys do?" He asked. "You should knock before coming here" Hope scolded and went outside.

"Yeah what she said" I stood up and dress up. "Where's mom?" "She went away. She said that it the only way she can protect you. Also she told me that your father was Malivore"

I paused them continue and check my bag for my book. Now that we are mated for life I think I can share some with Hope.

'booom' the door was opened and a fish-man came out.

"Shit she left the urn" I ran toward Alaric when the mer-man almost caught me blasted away by Hope timely.

"Leave the urn. We can track it where he will delivered it" she said while putting the bracelet inside the urn.
