(Is being rewritten in another novel.)

Will appear in another novel with the same name within the next month or so as I properly rework it. Curse my inability to leave things unfinished.

Chapter 17

He was currently standing in front of a 'Clone' of his, he had actually learned how to quicken the process it takes, but it requires his personal world to do it, so for now he planned to keep this clone a secret from others. The bad thing however is the clone didn't have Rei's past memories, only the memories associated with this life.

It didn't make sense, because the clone all be it his younger self, was still as smart as he was, but it seemed in a weird manner.

Well, it didn't bother Rei much, he could still tell this person was a version of him, and it was the clone that mentioned that it would be good that this clone didn't retain Rei's memories. Rei's 'System' despite only being a music player, actually acts as a blocker to his mental state. He's able to 'Play music loudly.' to keep people who enter his head disoriented. The clone however didn't have such a thing, it had access to the music, but it couldn't project the music to its mental state.

The only thing Rei could think of was maybe it was the personal world itself that protected his mind, and the music was just one of its defensive mechanisms. Either way, this meant that in the likely hood of his clone getting captured, even under torture nothing would be revealed about Rei other than what's 'Publicly'. known.

This is fine, he wasn't planning on using the clone for much else other than one thing. ''Since you a near-immortal, all I have asked of you is to focus on gathering materials, items, weapons, hell even people. Introduce as much as we can to the personal world, you will be the 'Outside' Agent. Since I and you can still meet in the personal world it'll be fine, for now, however."

Rei reached into his storage seal and out popped a scroll, handing it over. The clone didn't need to ask since they were, pretty much the same person. They both understood what, and why. But for some reason, like he was some main character, he felt he needed to still say it out loud.

''That's the FTG, both Tobirama's original version, and the updated one made by the Minato that's not Minato. Learn it, master it, and find a seal that not only I, but future clones can use and place everywhere you can. Eventually, I want to be able to be anywhere, at any time. I may not be able to become shinobi Santa handing out explosive tags like coal, but I can sure try.''

They both snickered to 'Their' own joke before the Clone took off, using everything in the current Rei's arsenal to its advantage to easily sneak out of the village and began exploring.

Rei himself headed into his personal world and greeted what he called the 'Greeter' fairy, a posh young noble lad sounding type.

''Clones of me will be stopping in with more stuff to introduce to the world, all I ask of you is that you write down everything they bring in, so when I myself show up, you can just hand me a list and I know what's been added. I know the changes that happen, but it's good to know why the change happened'' The fairy gave him what he assumed to be a bow, he just seemed to be the type before Rei returned, it had only been not even a second since he was gone.

Once he got that situated, he went back to working in his own little forge, currently, he was trying to perfect his skill in shuriken crafting so he could have higher quality ones, introduce those to the world, and so on so forth. Higher quality ones meant better travel time, better control, and harder to wear on. As well as if enough force was behind it, they could shatter normal shuriken.

It wasn't 'Hard' to master the craft but to make them top-quality required him to put attention to each individual piece instead of mass producing them. Which took more time than anything, but once he mastered enough smithing, and was able to introduce enough high-quality materials of his own making to the world, he could have a smith in his world capable of doing it for him. The good thing about the 'Time' thing.

Yes, time passes slower in there, but because of that. Time passes much quicker in there when he's out here.

Taking his time he was able to introduce his first high-quality piece, and just from normal testing, they felt much better in his hands, the balance was perfect and after a few hours, and getting a few more, his shurikenjutsu took a quality leap up in skill as he progressed with it. Good, sending the ten he's gotten made to his world, he moved on to do Kunai's next, these were harder to do since they were not only large, but required more material, and required to be a certain strength so they could lock against blades.

Even the wrong warp of the metal could not only throw the balance but make the kunai brittle. So he needed to be careful.

He failed twice before getting a proper one that he liked, now that he had found a way around the mistakes he continued, only failing more when he tried to hurry the process at certain times, trying to find the best way's to shave a few things off to save time.

He wasn't worried about material, since if he really wanted to he could simply take the metal he used and reforge it. They may be 'Useless' to make a kunai with but that doesn't mean he can't reuse it and reforge it into a spoon or fork or something.

This actually brings him to remembering something, his parent's birthdays were coming up, and due to how close the both of them were, it was simply decided they'd be celebrated on the same day. Rei had already picked out his gifts for his parents, something his Mother desperately needed, and something his Father should pay attention to.

(Pa-treon.)

That old lady I helped across the road? Turned out to be an assassin. Damned bastard got me... JK, I'd never be outdone by some phony old lady assassin...

Unless this is the assassin posing as me? Watch him have a better schedule, the bastard.
