The Next Day;

Wang Lily along with her maid, 'Ah Hua,' and XiXi headed towards the bustling streets of Royal Phoenix Kingdom.

Wang Lily was very excited from inside to see the busy stalls bustling with people. However, through her veil, the only pair of sharp clear eyes could be seen.

She was no longer ugly trash.

The whole atmosphere of the market was very lively.

XiXi was on her shoulder, talking to her. "Master, two shops in this city. Where you can exchange these pills for ingredients of refining beauty pill."

"The most popular at this time is, 'Wei Medicine Pavilion' owned by the Wei family and other is 'Da Bao Medicine Pavilion'. The Wei Medicine Pavilion enjoys high status with high-end customers."

"Both are medicine shops…." Wang Lily interrupted XiXi.

"Master do you have a habit of interrupting someone when they are providing important information," XiXi snickered at Wang Lily's interruption.

"Continue, or you want me to have a roasted bird in tonight's dinner," Wang Lily dangerously warned XiXi in a cold tone.

XiXi shuddered, "No, Master. I was wrong. You can interrupt me anytime you want." XiXi flipped her attitude like a chameleon and smiled sweetly at Wang Lily.

"The Da Bao Medicine Pavilion has been suppressed by Wei Medicine Pavilion. Because of some grudge between, the head of Da family, 'Da Xi' and the current head of Wei family, 'Wei Lin.' After, the demise of Da Xi, the Wei family did everything in their power to crush the Da Bao Medicine Pavilion."

"He was also one of the supporters and friend of your father. He died the day after your parents died."

Wang Lily thought it to be suspicious. If Da Xi was her father's friend then his death must be related to her parents. She needs to visit the Da family for more information.

"Miss, where to stop first?" Ah Hua asked her bringing her back from her thoughts.

"Ahh! Let's go…." After contemplating between both medicine shops Wang Lily said. "To Wei Medicine Pavilion."

Three of them headed towards the medicine shop.

However, Wang Lily was unaware a pair of beautiful eyes was staring at her intensely, enough to burn a lovely hole in her head.

That person followed her like a thief.

Wei Medicine Pavilion;

Wang Lily arrived outside the Wei Medicine Pavilion. She analyzes the building of the medicine shop.

It was a tall tower. A snake was craved on the whole tower wall. It showed how treacherous the person can be.

Wang Lily entered the shop. The interior of the medicine shop was rich in color and design indicating the rich and noble status.

There were five counters. One was for receiving customers. The second, third and fourth was for the exchange and purchase of medicinal herbs and pills. The last counter was for the settlement of payment.

Wang Lily walked towards the first counter.

"I want to sell some pills." Wang Lily nonchalantly added, "Please bring an expert to analyze the pills."

The person in charge of the first counter analyzes Wang Lily. She was dressed in simple clothes. Nowhere near to a noble lady. The more he analyzes, the more he grew irritated.

"Miss! please, if you have pills, show them to me," the sarcasm was dripping from his words. "I can analyze it. Our expert's services are only noble-birth."

"How can you say that? Our Miss is of noble-birth," Ah Hua's words defended Wang Lily.

This warmed Wang Lily's empty heart a little.

The employee sneered at them, "What noble-birth? Are you kidding me? A person of noble-birth will never wear these kinds of shabby clothes."

"Are you discriminating among customers?" The words of the employee have irked Wang Lily. So, she said each word loud and clear for everyone to hear.

"I didn't know that a lowly employee of the Wei Medicine Pavilion dares to treat their customers based on their clothes and birth. The works of physicians and medicine shops are equal for everyone who can afford them. Then, who are you?"

"What's happening here?" A voice boomed from behind Wang Lily. The employee's face paled, seeing the head expert/alchemist coming towards his counter.

"Mr. Li, I'm not causing any commotion," the employee hurriedly started to twist the truth in his favor. "They are from Da Xi Medicine Pavilion. They are here to ruin our Wei Medicine Pavilion reputation."

"Trust me, Sir, they are accusing our shop of discriminating between our customers. I told her that our experts' opinion is valuable and only for those who can afford it. They don't even have money but wanted your expertise."

He turned towards Wang Lily and sneered, "I told her to pay first, then our experts will analyze the pills. But she started accusing loudly about discrimination and all."

Wang Lily was smiling languidly, seeing the employee twisting the truth.

Mr. Li squinted his eyes on Wang Lily, "Miss, I can analyze your pills. But rules are rules." He patiently explained, "You need to pay first."

"I don't have money," Wang lily said in her lazy tone.

Mr. Li's brows furrowed, "Miss, then I'm sorry your pills have to be sold without being analyzed for the rate decided by our shop. No negotiation."

"Is this how Wei Medicine Pavilion extorts the innocent customers," Wang Lily pointed out their methods of making profits from cheating poor customers with high-grade pills.

Mr. Li face flushed with anger, "Miss you are slandering our Wei Medicine Pavilion. If you want, then you can sell those pills at the rate prescribed by our shop or else…" He pointed out towards the door, indicating her to leave, "I assume you all really here to cause damage to our Wei Medicine Pavilion reputation."

"I know people like you come here to threaten us to extort money," Mr. Li sneered. "You should know your place. Guards throw this cheater outside and never let her enter our shop again," he ordered.

"How audacious of....?" Ah Hua again tried to defend Wang Lily but was stopped by her.

"You will regret it," Wang Lily's eyes held a murderous glint when she said this and got out of the shop followed by Ah Hua.

'I will see,' Mr. Li sneered at retreating back of Wang Lily.
