'I still remember it vividly... my smile, that is. That goofy and naive smile, that charmed my friends and assured my heart that everything's going to be alright.'

"The Kura Family is annihilated but the mayor is quick enough to suppress the news. Commendable."

Shoto spoke as he looked at the green-haired youth.

"Midoriya... what's next? He was the last link to All for One—"

"He's dead... that 'father of the century' of mine died two days ago. I could feel it, through my quirk."

Shoto frowned and waited for an explanation while Izuku Midoriya started speaking once again, placing a specific location on the large map stuck to the wall.

"We are merely hunting, spreading out the word... spreading fear. Once the base is set, we'll get what we want."

Mikan asked as she packed her bento while Rito helped her in preparing food.

"Yeah, it will take some time until the results of the entrance examination are declared."

He smiled as his hands flashed past the vegetables, dicing them into small pieces in a mere instant. Used to such a display of cooking, Mikan looked at Rito seriously.

"I think that you should apply to other high schools in the city, too. There many hero academies other than UA."

"Nah, its either UA or I will officially enter into the dojo as a provisional pro-hero under the reference of the master."

Rito shook his head without giving her suggestion a second thought.

"You are way too stubborn."

Rito spoke as he walked towards the door while Mikan stopped to change into her shoes.

He nodded politely, but of course, failed to garner any attention from her as she quietly waited for Mikan on their doorstep.

Rito shook his head and gave Mikan her everyday forehead kiss before waving the duo goodbye.

"Huff, talk about an emotionless robot... maybe moving so suddenly affected her more than her mother thought."

Rito muttered as he closed the door and put on his training vest alongside his ankle and wrist weights and started cleaning the house.
