12 The 2 years spent with happiness

as ikki teleported out of his office and near his house beside the imperial palace he checked the message sent to him by kunou using her mother's phone, it read

' Bring me the ramen from the newly opened restaurant near the outskirts of the city '

the message practically demanded him to either bring the ramen with him or don't come home at all.

"This cheeky brat , once i get my hands on her i will correctly discipline her in place of yasaka" mumbled ikki to himself as he headed towards his car which was an imported mustang cobra 2008 model . he turned on the key and the engine gave a strong rumble . the engine itself was modified by ikki to almost double the horsepower it produced previously.

He arrived at the restaurant and saw the long line of people standing in front of him and couldn't help but sight . Tired from the long day of work he started utilizing one of the skills he learned during the last 2 years . he used his ki to subtly change the thoughts of the customers in front of him in the line by manipulating their brain waves and making them leave the area for a few minutes and then they would rush back but the time frame would be enough for ikki to arrive at the counter and take his order.

in the past two years ikki tried to learn the way of using magic from yasaka but it seems he is unable to use magic as his body consists of much more powerful and denser energy in the form of ki. So he started to improve on his ki control and started to find ways to use his ki to mimic magic ,one of those successful experiments was the hypnosis skill and teleportation skill along with few other such success.

He left kyoto for 2 months to train in the mountains but stumbled upon a person who he both liked but also hated in his first life.

"So what is the discendent of cao cao doing all the way out here in japan??" asked ikki towards the person.

Thats right this person was cao cao leader of the hero faction .the reason why ikki liked him was because he was not afraid to go againest the world for the sake of his goals but what made ikki hate him even more is that he was a hypocrit who denounced the supernatural for looking down on humanity but in the end the power which he uses to fight belongs to the supernatural themselves

"Who are you and why should i-""on second thought , you are better off dead or you will cause some problems for the kid and yasaka" saying that ikki instantly sent a ki blast capable of killing a satan class being in a single shot towards cao cao who was fortunate enough to escape because he was suddenly enveloped in midt and dissapeared

"Dimension lost is it?" ikki mumbled to himsef while observing the crater which used to be a steep mountain.After that he forgot about cao cao and began his training and after 2 months of continuous training he went back to kyoto stronger than ever before.

while heading home he heard news that the nekomata who have taken up residence in the underworld were all killed and only 2 nekomata still remain alive. he immediately teleported to yasaka as he knew that the news would hit her the hardest and just as he feared he came back to find yasaka holed up in her room refusing allow anyone in

"yasaka open the door" said ikki but he got no response.

"open the door woman" said ikki once again with some irritation at being ignored .

"open the door or i will-" before he could say anything else the door opened but not all the way , he was stunned and enraged to see her in the form she was in now. Her once proud and fearless face now showed exhaustion after continuous crying, her beautiful long hair which was usually tied up with pins was now dishelved , her beautiful golden eyes which were always filled with mischief were now dull and lifeless, this appearence caused a long forgotten emotion to surface in ikki , an emotion known as protectiveness

He immediately hugged her uncaring of all the youkai who were watching , at first , she trief to resist the hug but afterwards like a dam had opened she clutched onto his shirt and cried herself to sleep.

underworld , new lilith

serzhecs lucifer was right now in a bind as he did not know how to respond to the threats sent by the shinto faction in response to the actions of the devils wiping out an entire species of beings

while he was in deep thought about what to do he sensed a sudden heavy pressure descend on the underworld causing every single devil to fall on their knees .

"who are you and wha-" before he could say anything else serzechs felt immense pain from his hands to see that both of them are bent at odd angles and his knees were bent backward

"SIRZHECS- SAMAAA" a beautiful woman with silver hair ran towards the satan with panic on her normally emotionless face

"I have left a bit of my ki in your wounds gremory, this will serve as a reminder for your kind as to what happens when you anger me, as punishment you will remain crippled for the next 1 year only then will i desipate my ki, until then no amount of magic will help you to heal renember my warning gremory" said ikki as he left the underworld leaving behind a terrified city and it's equally terrified leaders

After that incident ikki and yasaka became even closer and ikki realized as to what he was feelin. He who had forgotten the meaning of love in persuit of strenght had found the love of his life in the most unlikely of places however he was afraid of telling his feelings to her as he knew that yasaka had still not overcome her fear of marrige because of her previous husband , so he chose to stay silent and waiy for the right time, discovering his feelings for yasaka had caused him to calm down a little and be less prone to temper issues.

in the meanwhile he established a company with his last name of souma which belonged to his very first life . his company became a multinational powerhouse in a short span of an year thanks to the many cures for genetic diseases he created and his improvements in the field of technology which had the world nations drooling to get their hands on his tech

and thus he finds himself in his current predicement as he is being glared down by a child of 7 years old ,

"onii-chan, i asked for a miso ramen not plain ramen" said kunou with a pout and glare

ikki was having a hard time keeping his expression neutral while watching the cute little girl acting all spoiled in front of him

"Well , I guess i could get used to this universe" he mused to himself
