30 side story 1 : the cat and her father

my name is kuroka souma but souma was not always my family name, when i was but a small kitten of 7 years old my mother died giving birth to my sister shirone, we still to this day do not know who our birth father was, for the next 5 years we spent our days on the streets, when i was 12 years old i caught the eye of a certain devil who recruited me into his peerage , he wanted me to win in the rating games and in return he would would cloth us and feed us, in the next two years i trained very hard to attain the rank of ss class , but that was also the day our misery began.

the king of the peerage wanted to experiment on shirone so that he could unlock the power of chakra , it seems that he had got his hands on an ancient relic said to have originared from a different world, it was a tablet which had many different complex looking designs and strange kanji, the most interesting thing is that it would only respond to chakra which only the youkai had access to , he wanted to experiment on shirone so that he would also lern how to weild chakra , in my rage i killed him and his entire peerage , i took the tablet and ran towards our home to get shirone and run away from the underworld but i was too late, the devils had branded the nekomata as an unstable race due to our mastery over senjutsu and exterminated our species , i then watched helplessly as they imprisoned my dear sister , then he came, first it was the preassure as if a mountain was being pressed on us, then came the ear shattering roar , and then came a behemoth of a creature standing over 60 meters in height and firing energy beams from his mouth,i watched stupified as he destroid a satan as if it were nothing, suddenly i found myself and my sister in a void without any ground , after what seemed like forever we were brought back to reality and found out that we were in kyoto, the man revealed himself to be a saiyan what ever that may be ,he said that he wanted to adopt us as his daughters , we did not need his pity so i rejected him, but he said that it was not up for debate and that he had already registered the both of us under his family name of souma.

At first i did not like him, but slowly i opened up to him , then without me knowing he became a true father to us , even now after 8 years i still wonder , what would have happened had he not shown up? , it was a truly terrifying thought because now i cannot imagine a life without my beloved parents , i still have the strange tablet with me, but i will not reveal it to father because this tablet has only ever brought me misery whenever i have exposed it's existence ,

well, now that shirone and kunou have joined kuoh academy, i can start focusing on my training as well as my studies to be the succesor of souma industries
