Chapter 9: Nejire Hado (Part 3)

A/N: Nejire might be a bit OOC, I don't know if she is OOC but if she is then I'm sorry.

Izuku felt sorry, he felt sorry for a girl named Nejire Hado. Once Izuku woke up, answered all of her questions, and got past his embarrassment, he met someone like him. Soon after Nejire had come, two people by the name of Mirio and Tamaki came to visit him, this is where Izuku noticed something wrong.

While Izuku observed Nejire talk to Mirio and Tamaki, he noticed that Nejire had a shell up. Not a shell in the physical sense, but the mental sense. He noticed that she was hiding something, he knew this because he himself had also done things like this. When he was quirkless, he would get bullied at school and would sometimes go home with bruises. He would then put up a shell to his mother, so she wouldn't worry about him.

Since he'd done this for so long, he could notice when people would be uncomfortable with something while saying otherwise, and he noticed this with Nejire.

She had a smile on her face and looked happy talking to Mirio and Tamaki, but her eyes were saying a completely different thing. They showed discomfort and nervousness like she didn't want to be there. He could tell something was wrong, and he wanted and needed to find out.

Right as the 3 were about to leave, Izuku called Nejire over.

"E-Excuse me, H-Hado-san, can I talk to you?" As embarrassed as he was, his heroic nature wouldn't let him not help her.

"Sure Iz-u-ku!" She said cutely, though Izuku knew she was forcing herself, and to him, she looked uncomfortable.

As she said goodbye to Mirio and Tamaki, she closed the door and turned around towards Izuku.

"Now, what did my cute little kohai want so much that he had to ask in private." Nejire said, Izuku couldn't bear to see her do this any longer.

"You can stop pretending now." He said, Nejire faltered for a bit before she began talking again.

"Pretending? What are you talking abou-"

"Please Hado-san! It's obvious to me that there is something wrong!" He honestly didn't expect her to open up to him since they had just met literally a few hours ago.

Nejire just stood quiet, thinking for a moment before she responded.

"What if there is something wrong? What will you do? There isn't anything that you can do so don't worry about it." She said, her tone shifting into a somber one.

"Y-You can talk about it, it's not good to hold these things in!"

"What do you know? You don't know my pain, you don't know the things I go through!" Nejire was surprised and angry at this point.

Surprised because she was arguing with a guy. and Angry because she had only just met this guy yet he manages to find her out, ad then proceeds to tell her to get help. She knew he was trying to be kind, and probably genuinely cared, but she thought she was doing fine on her own; and didn't need someone telling her what to do.

"Don't try and tell me how to live my life, you have no right to do that! Nejire was practically in tears at this point, but she wouldn't let them fall, she wouldn't let anyone see her vulnerable again.

Izuku was speechless, and he felt bad. He had made practically shoved this girl outside of her comfort zone, told her to stop pretending, and nearly made her cry. Yeah, he definitely felt confident now.

"I-" Was all he could say.

Nejire didn't even bat an eye as she turned around and walked out of the door, slamming it behind her.

And Izuku couldn't do a thing to stop her.

-THE NEXT DAY-

It was the day after the sports festival, though he had won the match against Todoroki, he couldn't go against Bakugo since his injuries were too severe. He was mostly healed by the next day, but he still had some scars on his hands and arms.

Izuku no doubt still felt horrible about what happened yesterday. Who did he think he was? He was so ashamed, he had to apologize. He had to let her know that he knew it wasn't his place, and that he was in the wrong. But first, he had to find out where her class was. Who would know something like that? Nezu!

As his class ended, he said goodbye to his friends and started toward the office of Nezu. Once he knocked on the gigantic door, he walked in to see Nezu sitting in his chair, sipping some tea.

"Hello Midoriya, what can I do for you today?" The small bear asked.

"W-Well, I'd like to know w-what classroom N-Nejire Hado is in." Nezu raised an eyebrow at this.

"And why would you like to know this?"

"U-Um, I have to apologize for s-something I said." Nezu looked intrigued, but didn't say anything.

"She's in room *****, I don't know what it is you did, but properly apologize." Nezu instructed.

"Yes, Principal Nezu." Izuku walked out of the door, a bit nervous, but he had to do the right thing.

As he approached Class 3-A, the 3rd years looked at him strangely, since it was weird to see a first-year in the hallway meant for 3rd years. Izuku just ignored them, he'd had people staring at him in all types of ways, he was used to this.

He walked into the classroom, and there she was. She was currently the only one in the class, she stood by her desk, gathering her things. When she looked up as Izuku approached her, he saw a flash of fear in her eyes, before it quickly switched to confusion and anger.

"What do you want?" She asked, with a stern look on her face. Izuku winced.

Izuku bowed at a 90-degree angle.

"I'm sorry Hado-san! Please forgive me! Yesterday, it wasn't my place to try and tell you what to do. Please excuse my rude behavior!"

Izuku couldn't see since he was bowing, but Nejire had a look of utter shock on her face. She had not expected him to come here, or to ask for forgiveness. She was so overwhelmed by this, to have someone that wronged her apologize, it felt....relieving.

Suddenly, she enveloped the 2 years younger boy into a hug. She didn't know why, but she felt like she needed to hug someone. As for poor Izuku, he was currently struggling to stay conscious at this point. His face was red, his heart was speeding, and he was pretty sure those 2 squishy things that were pressing into his chest were her breasts.

'Maybe I should've just went home.' Were his last thoughts before he once again passed out from a girl.
