The next day was a hard day. Maxwell, who had finished his meeting yesterday, but had to rush back home after Michael had called him, was in a foul mood after their discussion last night.
He was of the belief that being around Andrew during his heat was going to be bad for Andrew. He had thought that he would have more time before his next heat came. Time that Andrew could use to adapt to his body, and Maxwell would have felt more comfortable having him assist with his heat.
But time waits for no one, and is fickle.
Of course, Maxwell wouldn't have gone to anyone else to get help with his heat, but he probably would have taken suppressants.
That Michael had secretly told Andrew that they were not compatible with Maxwell's body.
