Ch-2 A surprise?

It has been two weeks since Noah had found himself in this orphanage, his reflections were giving his infant brain an intense headache as it was in a developing phase, with loud cries of other little children reverberating on his left and right. He would've never thought that one day he would die just by watching a maniac casting a killing curse, would it make sense? No, it would never.

Noah enjoyed the concept of the movie. The vfx it hauled, all of them were fascinating, there were numerous things he wanted to know about that world but before he could accomplish that he died.

Noah was still fine about his bizarre death and revival which brought him here as he got a latitude from that hellish pain but in this new life, another psycho was waiting for him.

A translucent ghost kept hovering above him while doing some strange activities. was it his hallucination or something real? he did not understand but for now he didn't do anything to attract its attention furthermore.

Alright, The real reason behind his ignoring the ghost was that silver magical circle, in his past life there were numerous famous sayings that ghosts can take over your body by doing black magic.

"Little one can you see this old grandpa here, if you can see me I'll give you numerous playthings." 

'See, it's even trying to bribe me, are you crazy old man, I love my life.'

"Sigh, why I'm so unlucky, stop bothering me, gramps." Noah tried to convey his thoughts but only weird noises escaped from his mouth.

"What happened little Noah? Did you wet your pants again?" The old matron suddenly came beside him and started checking his condition while picking him up in the air while the old man started pondering on something.

"Ahh, how embarrassing." Little Noah's cheek flushed red as he closed his eyes.

Time skip [3 years]

Noah had now become a cute little guy who always maintained a central position in the children's group.

As he introduce many fun games to the children of the orphanage they started seeing him as a big leader.

Well being the leader of small children was a little embarrassing but still, they were fun to play with.

The old ghost was nowhere to be seen for nearly three years now and Noah acknowledged it as good fortune but not for long as at the end of his third-year birthday the old ghost came back.

At the end of the day, Noah understood that he couldn't keep ignoring this guy's presence or else he would have to live a life where he needed to hone his sixth sense to a high level so he'll be prepared to act accordingly.

Time skip [6 years]

Noah is now ten years old and will be eleven in just a couple of months.

Noah, to whom the old ghost followed around, got caught while feigning ignorance of his presence after a mere passing month of his third year.

How can a kid ignore a horrific thing that he sees as the first thing after opening his eyes in the morning? Noah had screamed his lungs out that day.

"Haha, I knew it, kid, you sure are special." To Noah's screams the old man laughed hysterically.

Noah had a white oval face, his eyes dark as the night, and his long crimson hair was tied in a ponytail, as he looked quite cute in that appearance he decided to choose it as his default appearance.

"Old man, what are we doing today?" Noah asked while huffing as he was jogging in west rose park.

"hehe, today you'll get leave from your work as I've prepared a surprise that you'll love and won't see this old man as a mere con artist." The old ghost said while hovering behind his running figure.

"Why surprise? can't you just tell me now? so I can go visit that game club afternoon."  Noah said.

"Tch, kid you're no fun to be with this old man here is giving you his hundred of years of experience but you still priorities that lousy game." The old ghost complained as he passed through his body making Noah shudder coldly.

"Alright, alright I understand, you didn't need to do that." Muttered Noah as he waved his hand in the air to shoo away the translucent ghost.

'This old man is acting up again.' Noah Thought worriedly in his heart, after knowing that Noah could see him, he started telling him some weirdest shit a child needed to hear like dark magic, blood rituals, and sacrifice rituals. The old man always had a dazzling glint in his ghastly eyes when he talked about those things.

But the old man only for once said something believable which was doing physical exercises, he made Noah o some harsh training in the name of acquiring the dark art power as that power starts to dissolves the physique to an unimaginable degree when its acquired to a high level.

But Noah accepted that proposition without any complaint as doing some exercises from a young age was a nice goal.

After jogging another round in the park Noah's mind became clear as he started doing his push-ups and squats thereafter.

Huff…

Huff…

Noah was now standing in front of the old-looking building where he had opened his eyes after being tortured in that hell hole.

Noah stood outside for a moment as he was panting heavily from the long run, after calming his breath he gradually opened the door and walked inside.

Tingling.

"Oh look, big brother, Noah is here." A little child shouted as he saw Noah coming inside from the door.

Hearing the fellow comrade's shout, everyone stopped whatever they were doing and rushed toward Noah while shouting a chant, "The chocolates are here."

Hearing children chanting chocolate a thick vein popped up on his forehead as he facepalmed himself, while a drop of tear rolled down from his eye.

Soon enough seeing their innocent smile a sweet smile bloomed on his face too as he took out the chocolates from his pocket while making it look like he had done some kind of magic.

"Wahhh"

"Big brother Noah is awesome."

Before Noah could quell their excitement, a little girl tugged at his shirt. Noah gently looked at her and asked, "What happened Lilly, you don't like chocolate?" 

"That's not it big brother Noah, d-do you know that there were rumours that chocolate thieves are roaming in our town." It took Lilly two minutes to complete her sentence.

"Who did you hear it from Lilly?" Noah asked curiously.

"Um, A neighbourhood aunty was telling our Matron when she was here to give some donation." Lilly said innocently as she took the chocolate from his hands.

"Is that so?" Noah Muttered as he rubbed her forehead and continued, "don't worry if those thieves dared coming here your big brother will protect y'all." 

"Un." She muttered and ran toward her group.

"How petty, How can they steal chocolates?" Noah Muttered as he peeked at the old ghost.

"Haha, sorry, now where's my surprise." Noah Muttered.

"You'll see it in just a minute, now lay down on the bed." The old Ghost said making Noah shudder in discomfort.

"W-What do you want to do." Noah said putting his hands in attacking pose.

"Kid, you really think you can punch this old man, now don't be wussy and lay down quitely as this surprise is gonna change your whole life." The old man retorted haughtily.
