/"Why do you call me dove?/" I ask the king curiously and put my hands on his chest.

He smiles upon hearing my question. /"Why do you want to know?/" he asks with a playful smile. I think for a second.

/"Because I am curious and.../". I say but stop. This question just appeared in my mind and I never thought about it much.

/"And?/" The king asks in a probing manner. He pushes my hair behind my ear with his finger.

/"And nothing more. I am just curious. Now tell me why do you call me dove?/" I ask the king again. The king instead of answering me kisses my neck and bites it there. He then licks the area. I feel my legs becoming weaker. He then looks into my eyes lovingly.

/"You are such a little curious dove. I call you dove because dove represents purity, gentleness, devotion, and beauty. I saw all these things in you and you also remind me of the dove which I had in my childhood that's why I call you dove/". The king tells me. I feel a sudden pain inside my chest after hearing him. If I remind him of a dove then why does not he let me fly? Why has he caged me here in the big walls of the palace?

/"How ironic! You call me your dove but you don't let me fly either/". I say to the king sadly. He has reminded me of my pain again. It is all my mistake. I should not have asked him why he calls me a dove. The king sighs after hearing me.

/"I call you dove because of your spirit to fly not because you are allowed to fly or not/". He says in a serious tone.

/"If you know this then you must know that God has not created birds to be kept in cages. Birds die when kept in captivity and birds are given wings because they are born to fly/". I tell the king. Today, I have started this topic again because I am tired of living this life. I am sure that if I succeed in convincing the king then he will let me have a little bit of freedom. Maye I am allowed to breathe in peace.

/"Who is telling you to think of it as captivity? You are not captive here. You are someone who rules the king's heart/". The king tells me. He was going to kiss me on my lips but I moved my head and his lips landed on my cheek. He looks at me with a questioning gaze.

/"These are just words. I am not allowed to leave the harem. I cannot go anywhere in the palace. I cannot go into the gardens. I cannot do anything without your permission. If this is not captivity then what is it? I also want to breathe fresh air. I want to be out of the walls of the harem. I am not asking you to let me go but don't you think that I at least deserve this much/". I ask the king sadly.

I want him to treat me like a human, not a thing.

/"Don't you think you are asking for too much, my dove? Aren't these too many desires in one day?/" The king asks me in a disapproving tone. I look towards him with disappointment and a little anger.

/"No, I am not asking for too much that a king cannot give. I am asking for a simple thing which if you want you can give in a moment. I don't want to live as a captive. I want to breathe freely/". I say to him.

I look at him and he seems to be in deep thought. /"If that is what you want then fine by me. You can go wherever you want in the palace. You can go to the city too. No one will stop you. I will tell Ivy to give you a tour of the palace/". The king tells me. A big smile appears on my face. For a moment I thought it was a joke and he would laugh at me but nothing like this happens.

/"Really?/" I ask the king, still not believing what he said.

/"Yes, my dove but before you become too happy. There is one thing I want to tell you. You can go anywhere you want in the palace or the town but you have to tell me or Walter before going/". The king instructs me.

/"Ok! I will keep this in mind/". I replied to him happily. I don't mind telling him or Walter before going. At least, I will be able to leave the harem. This is the only thing that matters.

/"Isabelle, keep one more thing in your mind. I have given you permission only to go to the palace or the town/". The king tells me. I smile at him sadly. I know the meaning of his words.

/"I have understood what you are saying. I can go wherever I want but I cannot go to my village/". I told him. /"That's correct/". He replies. I will not let this ruin my happiness. This is enough for now that at least I can leave the palace or the harem.

/"Let's go inside/". The king orders and takes me inside his room.

/"Why do you call me dove?/" I ask the king curiously and put my hands on his chest.
