Chapter 10: Evolution

I went to my own office, then told to Vlad not to disturb me.

The room wasn't big it has 1 shelf of books, a desk and a chair, a simple bed and two pieces of furniture inside.

I went to my bed and then think about going to the library.

I saw Zilla happily reading a novel on a luxury couch without a care in the world. She now made the library her home although she comes out every once in a while to eat some sweets even though the grimoire doesn't need one since they only feed on their master's mana that's why they can't stay too far from them. She has an easygoing personality which makes a lot of people like her.

"Hey Zilla whatchu reading?"

"I'm reading a novel called the "Fools Daughter" I'm in the part where she's trying to kick someone's ass"

My face twitch hearing her.

'This girl, that's actually an R-18 novel. Whatever your not even human anyway so age doesn't really matter right?'

I then switch my gaze to the library instead.

The library was now about twice as big as before it also had plants decorated around making it more pleasant to the eyes.

It turns out that whenever I touch a book I would immediately know its contents but it would still takes me a while to understand it. Adding to the fact that I can add more it basically means I'm a walking pile of information in a database.

I went to check my status first before evolving.

"Alex give me my book," I said while resting on one of the couches.

After the library got expanded I got this voice assistant that sort out the library when I want to find something. I can also ask questions but the answer needs to be recorded first, so in short, he is kind of similar to those ai he also has those annoying monotonous voices.

I smiled knowing that all my hard work has finally paid off.

I now know that INT actually determined how much magic power you have not your actual intelligence after having my magic power tested by a measuring device, also it seems that WIS is my mana capacity always 2 times higher.

The requirement for being a disciple mage is 200 mp or magic power and 500 mana so it'll take a while for me to reach that. Also, the mage should be able to cast a tier 2 spell.

I suddenly recalled the pain when evolving I clench my fist.

'I have to go through that again, damn it'

It took me a while to finally calm my nerves then said to Zilla.

" Zilla no matter what you do, don't try to help me"

" Are you being dramatic again?" Zilla asks raising her brows.

" No I'm serious, no matter how much I scream don't try to help me"

" Mmkay" she nods her head not even bothering to look at me.

'Stop reading that R-18 stuff damn it, I'm about to have a life-and-death battle with my trauma and here you are reading that for god's sake'

I inwardly scream

Before my resolve waver I said in my mind " Evolve Now"

A purple light enveloped my whole body, and for a few seconds nothing happened. I prepared myself before I suffer the worst pain of my life again

Then it came

" Ah~ah" I moaned my mouth move on its own

'Huh, this isn't right why am I moaning?'

Zilla looked at me weirdly when she heard me.

The light got brighter making my body felt something warm inside?

'Wait, Inside?'

" Ah-aha-ha-ah" every time the light shine my moan got harder and harder making my voice hoarse and breathing rough.

'What the fuck is going on!!!????'

Zilla with a serious look kept darting her gaze back and forth between her book and me.

"ah aha ah " the light got stronger again making me

'Oh my god, pleaseee jusssttt killll me instead'

Zilla then took out a pen and paper from god knows where then wrote something while looking at the book and me.

'What the fuck are you doing Zilla!!!!!!!)

For an entire hour, the library was filled with the sound of a kid moaning and a writing sound could be heard in the God's Library desecrating the peaceful silence of the library.

1 hour later

I stared lifelessly at the ceiling laying on the floor.

Zilla who finished her drawing was smiling happily, she put the paper into the book and then walk towards me.

"It's fine I won't tell a soul, so that's how you guys let it all out" Zilla smirked as she went back to the couch

Noel whose heart was already broken was obliterated by Zilla dealing the finishing blow.

If before he was suffering the most excruciating pain he ever felt now this time his mind was suffering the most embarrassing thing you could have ever done in public. It's a good thing that only one person saw him like that or else he'll really commit suicide right then and there; even without his flaw, he might actually stab himself now if wasn't for the fact that Zilla was his grimoire.

It took him a whopping 4 whole hours to finally set his mind straight. When embarrassed, people will just turn their emotions to another one like anger.

"Alex give me the novel Chaos Supremacy now!!!!!" Noel shouted at the top of his lungs.

A book flew out of the shelves heading straight to Noel. He grab it and analyzed every single detail of the novel. A few minutes later he found a line that said " For every evolution, Ceasar take he felt the most pleasurable experience in his entire life."

Noel was dumbfounded, who would write something like this, aren't the authors supposed to write something like no pain no gain to entertain readers with the suffering of the mc's damn the author must really like his mc.

After he was done cursing the author he checked his status.

Seeing this I forgot my earlier embarrassment and was now laughing like a maniac.

With my physical stat alone I can go toe-toe with a 1-star aura user without the need of using an aura or mana to enhance myself.
