Chapter 2

"Mark aren't you done preparing the food?" Mark's mom Helen asked from the bedroom.

"No mom! but I'll soon be done,give me some minutes" Mark replied from the kitchen.

After 10 minutes, he came out from the kitchen carrying plates of food and placed them on the dining table, "Mom i'm done cooking,come eat" Mark called

"oh thanks heaven,finally...uhmmmm smells nice son" Helen said as she came out of her bedroom. The Mother and Son sat down and in their respective chairs facing each other and began to eat silently, "Son you know how to cook,am happy that your future wife will not have to bother herself with cooking " Helen said as she devoured the food, Mark looked at her mom and shook his head 'hmmm,Mom so if my wife don't cook,i should do it huh??" he asked her,

"yes son!" he replied hastily and went back to eating,Mark hmmmmed and continued eating as well. When they were done,Mark dealt with the dishes and cleaned the kitchen,and also joined his mom who was in the sitting room watching her favorite television program.

"Mom" Mark suddenly called his mom to get her attention that was fixated on the TV program they were watching,his mom turned him when she heard him call her.

"how was work yesterday,hope you weren't stressed out? and how is my dream man? Mark asked staring at his mom

"work was fine,stressful as usual though,i need to rest now,i will be leaving at noon today.....sorry i didn't see your dream man at all " Helen answered. She is currently working in a life style hotel,one of the companies owned by Logan Owens as a manager.

Logan Owens is the richest man in the whole of Country A and also the only to own 5 different companies. A young multi billionaire boss,who never smiles nor had any past or present relationship with anybody,he had a god like aura that people fear even his rivals are no match for him. Helen is truly blessed to be one of his managers thus making her one of the richest women in Country A,many people trying to find fault in her one way or the other to bring her down but her identity,everything about her was locked by Logan Owen so that they won't use her past life to get slander him as well.

Helen had to work from 12:00pm to early the following day,making sure that everything is order so as to not incur the wrath of the big boss.

"Mom even though,Mr Logan Owens is strict and all that,i still like him,i look up to him as my role model and will like to be like him someday ,he is young,rich,very handsome,clever,has high IQ ,a perfect husband.....mom,i must be like him so you will have to enjoy and not work again..." Mark kept blabbing and ranting while his mom just sat watching him rant," mom what do you say?" he asked after he was done

"you want to be like him?? go to school,stop lazing around Mark" his mom said

"but mom if i go to school,who will cook for you??" he asked his mom

"I'll buy...food is not a problem...."she replied while holding his face in her palms" just make me proud son,that's all"

"Mom..."he pouted
