Chapter 22

Anubis made up her mind to go to the realm of demons ,she had no idea if she would come back alive but she was ready to go,she also called the boy her friend?! but why?! she didn't know exactly because she had never gotten any friend in her past life so everything was kinda weird to her,or was it because she felt pity for him? been the cause of his predicament she wanted to take responsibility of him...so many thoughts ran through her mind as she sat down staring at her garden through the open window in her room,after thinking for some time,she stood up from where she was sitting and summoned the three fire elementals and when they came,she told them that she was ready to go to the realm of demons and they created a portal for her,

"this portal will lead you to the den of the demon lord,but you might make him notice your presence.....you have to find a way and conceal your aura,that way he won't notice you but unfortunately we can't help you with that,the portal will close immediately you get there and for you to come back will be easy once you've taken the heart of the demon lord,are you sure you are ready to go?" the first elemental spirit asked because he wouldn't want anything to happen to their empress.

"yes....but wait a minute" Anubis said...."Lilith can you hear me??" The three elementals looked at each other at the mention of Lilith but didn't say anything,

"*yawns* Anubis....why do you have to wake me up right now,i was enjoying this particular sleep and you just woke me up!" Lilith complained as she rubbed her eyes,the three elementals spirits were shocked after hearing Lilith talk,she was their elemental empress before she was cast into the dark abyss,but how comes she was here in the body of a child??! was this why they accepted her as their new empress??!" they were dumbfounded as they stared at Anubis....she looked at them and saw how they kept staring at her which made her confuse,

"why are you three staring at me like that?" she decided to ask

"Nothing....but the one who's voice we heard now is our former empress.....We are kind of lost and curious,why is she inside of you?" the second elemental spirit asked

"Your former empress?? she didn't tell me a thing about it,only told me that your empress was gone into slumber,that was all....oh! wait a sec...was this why i was to summon you the first time?? this explains why i became your empress so quick....she did it!!but she didn't tell me anything about it why?" Anubis was upset and at the same time surprise,she was surprised at the fact that Lilith was the former elemental empress and upset that she was kept in the dark by the one she looked up to.

"Anubis.... i know you must be upset right now,but i have a reason to not have told you before,there are so many things you need to know about me but not now,it isn't the right time,you are still far too young to know them...you must bear with me for now,i will tell you when the right time comes,as for been the empress,i mean former empress..that is true but that was before I was cast into the dark abyss by the Origin,ever since then i have tried to come out but failed,no one could bring me out not even my son.....Zeus! or the three elemental spirits,for many years I laid there until my body began withering and my powers fading,my soul left my body and began looking for a new empress,one who would carry my powers so that when i finally die my powers won't be lost,it was until i saw your soul and began calling to you,trying to bring you into the dark abyss,you were not willing at first but because you were weak i was able to pull you in, i gave you the fire elemental orb which produces it's stardust that mages seek in order to be a fire element user,making you the empress of all fire element,this was why you were able to summon the three elemental spirit and in return they were able to take you as their empress even though you are young" she sighed deeply..." my body must have withered completely" she said in a depressed tone.

"Your highness we are sorry that we couldn't do anything to bring you out of there,we mu..."

"hahahaha....." Lilith laughed lightly cutting through the second elemental words, " it's not your fault,and besides you three did your best,so why apologize!? all you have to do is to take her as your empress from now on" she said and the three elemental spirit nodded without saying anything else.

Anubis listened to everything she said and didn't know how to feel,it wouldn't be right if she's still upset even after the explanation Lilith gave to her, she looked at the portal which have been created for her and sighed again, she really wanted to go there and now she has gotten another secret mission which was to get Lilith's body back to her and by so doing she will have to go to the dark abyss, but how??! that she will find out on her own,she wanted to surprise Lilith.

"Lilith can you conceal my aura so i won't get noticed by the demon god?" she asked instead

"Yes i can" Lilith replied and closed her eyes,she said something no one heard and with a wave of hand,she blew dust like particles all over Anubis's soul which covered her like a cloak, " you can now go,but you must be careful...the demon lord is wary of things around him" she warned
