Fast

Tony Stark hovered over the ground, confusion clear in his expression. He had read about those two twins from Hydra, but something seemed uncomfortably different about this youth. As if he was under the influence of some drug.

"AHH!" Pietro shrieked suddenly, disappearing from the spot. Tony didn't even have a moment to blink before he felt a kick landing on his back. An incredibly powerful one, too.

A few parts of Tony's costume deformed from just one attack. This kind of physical strength made little sense... Tony hurled against the shop's door, getting inside through the broken window.

"Hydra's documents stated that the stone only enhanced his speed. His strength shouldn't be over the level of a normal human." Tony mumbled, raising his gaze back up in search of the enemy. He was nowhere to be seen. "Jarvis, scan his body when it's possible. I want to know exactly what's happening to him."

Tony heard a click coming from the rear and he immediately turned around, missiles divulging from his forearms. No one stood there. Instead, Tony felt another punch landing on his back.

"Damn it." Tony sensed his own gear penetrating into his skin from the impact, his eyes dialing from the pain. Once again, Pietro couldn't be seen... he was simply too fast.

Eventually, understanding what he had to do, Tony flew out of the shop and hovered multiple feet above the ground. It didn't matter what speed Pietro could achieve if he couldn't touch Tony anyway.

"I have to be faster." Tony noticed the ground trembling even more violently. They were already extremely high in the air. It wouldn't take long before Ultron's plan would take place. "Jarvis, release the Jade Giant. I have no more time."

As Jarvis listened to his creator's orders, Tony noticed a figure flying at him from above. Pietro didn't bother himself to wait for the enemy to come down, instead choosing to jump from the rooftop.

"Or maybe I won't even need the Jade Giant. This drug not only altered his powers but basic sense as well." Tony aimed his palm at the approaching man, a beam of cerulean light escaping from the center. Pietro was incredibly fast, but he was like an open target in the air.

Pietro didn't escape from the attack, getting banged against the ground from above. The ground cracked, showing the severity of the force behind Tony's initiative. Surprisingly, Pietro stood up barely a moment later, not even wheezing.

"Strong," Tony admitted, though his face conveyed no fear. Whatever happened to this miserable man, his mind degraded by a wide margin. It was almost like fighting Hulk, only less powerful.

'Jade Giant is taking too much to appear. I have to stop Ultron, but I can't leave this man killing everyone either.' Tony sighed, then descended onto the ground. Both Pietro and Tony made eye contact as the mutant disappeared from the spot again.

He didn't attack Tony directly this time, running around the prey instead. Even though Tony's body was enveloped in his armor, he still felt a slight breeze sinking on him from all sides.

There was no need for any spectacular moves or turbulent explosions - Tony knew a much easier way to deal with this situation. Shutting his sights, Tony prepared to act at any moment.

A few instants later, as Tony felt a change in wind's direction, he extended his hand behind his back and ignited multiple bullets from his forearms. A weak plop echoed in Tony's ears as he looked behind.

As expected, Pietro's body lay there, coated in his own blood. Having a superior battle sense placed Pietro in an unfavorable position, even though he may have been stronger.

Since Pietro targeted his rear twice, it didn't take long for Tony to understand from where he would appear. "Jarvis?"

"Pietro's internal organs have been severely damaged. The survival rate is less than 20%" Jarvis answered, forcing Tony to click his tongue. He didn't want to kill this man, especially because it felt like he was being controlled by someone.

"Did you detect any abnormalities in his body?" Tony checked Pietro's pulse, noting its irregular velocity. How abnormal. As Tony inspected Pietro's body more closely, he noticed all the veins on his body narrowing back into their natural state.

The darkness retreated from his pupils, gibberish escaping from his mouth. It was too illogical. Tony then saw even more blood escaping from Pietro's mouth, spreading through the ground.

The mutant died.

Wanda walked through the city's empty streets, noticing multiple destroyed buildings. The place no longer shone with life and happiness, it just seemed hollow.

Wanda didn't know what to do anymore. The desire for revenge plunged through her veins, however, the pity for all these humans overwhelmed her emotions. How could she be so selfish?

Initially, Wanda was assigned to deal with Tony Stark during the turmoil caused by Ultron. She searched for the Avenger throughout the entire city, witnessing multiple deaths and grievances.

She could be helping them right now, rescuing people from danger. Nothing mattered anymore. Whether it's with Nagato or Avenger's aid, she would definitely stop Ultron from causing more violence.

Wanda wouldn't be so selfish anymore... she had to stop this hell.

"Wanda," Wanda heard Nagato muttering into the microphone in her ear. She was about to state her opinion regarding Nagato's orders when her heart suddenly skipped a bit. "Your brother is in danger."

"What do you mean?" Wanda inclined, her lips tightening.

"He saw Tony Stark flying above the city and immediately followed him," Nagato said in his passive voice. "I couldn't keep up with his pace and I am still trying to detect his location. You should try to find him as well, maybe he is near you."

"On it," Wanda didn't even bother asking for more details, clearing her mind of all the worries. Using her powers to the fullest, Wanda soared into the sky to overlook the entire perimeter. She couldn't lose her brother!

Never.

It was only with the brink of an eye, but she noticed Tony Stark hovering a few feet above the ground in the distance. Below him lay a body of a man. Pietro. Her dear brother.
