Attack on Troast iii

She held her blade ready to attack even though she knew that she might not be able to take it on.

The red titan was charging toward her at full speed, just when the red titan got close to her, its feet broke the ground before it landed a straight punch to the other titan's face.

The pure titan went flying and crashed into a building, but Ayato didn't stop there, he walked over to it and began smashing it with his hands.

He then turned to see Mikasa who still had her blade with her, "Mi..ka.sa" The red titan spoke.

Mikasa's eyes lit up, "h-how is it able to speak, and my name?" She suddenly recollected when Armin pointed at the titan saying it was Ayato.

"It's really you" tears rolled down her cheeks before she fell to her knees, "I waited, for five years, and you're a titan" She kept on crying.

Ayato inside the titan, saw Mikasa crying on the ground and behind was an abnormal titan.

He looked around and saw that the titan had started overwhelming them, those at the defense of the wall and those at that were heading to headquarters to refill their gear too.

"I'm sorry Mikasa, but you can't give up now, I'm not letting anyone die on me.

There's nothing more wholesome than freedom, and I'll give it all to you,

no one dies,

not on my watch!

You die if you don't fight,

you can't win if you don't fight,

fight! Fight! till you have nothing left." He gave out a very loud roar with his titan.

The roar was so powerful that even the walls were vibrating, those who heard the roar suddenly felt a rush of adrenaline in their body as the red lightning stormed inside their body.

The soldiers started killing off the titans, at that moment there was no other feeling greater, it was like they could do anything.

Mikasa felt the lightning too, then she had a flashback.

Eren was being held on the neck with a spear in an abandoned house, and Mikasa was at his back holding a small knife.

"Do it, stab him" Eren struggled to get free.

"Don't you dare kid" The mad yelled?

They were both screaming what they wanted her to do, she was so scared that her limbs went numb, then she suddenly heard a voice echo in her head.

"Fight, fight … Fight damn it"

She felt the lightning flow inside and with it came a huge amount of adrenaline, her feet crushed the ground before she stabbed the man in the back with the knife.

"Was that you?" The abnormal launched itself towards her but she dodge in, she used the blade to slice open its mouth.

Running round the titan, she started cutting off parts of its body until it became completely immobilized, she then climbed it and sliced off the nape of its neck.

"Mikasa, come on" Armin swooped in and took Mikasa, and headed straight for the headquarters to refill his tank so they could all leave troast.

When he got in, there was a titan inside already, Armin and Mikasa burst through the window landing where Jean and his teammates were hiding.

"Why aren't you guys refilling your gears?" Armin asked.

"Look for yourself" Jean responded, showing him the titans that were below the headquarters exactly where they kept their gas containers.

"How do you plan to fight them all in such a small place?" Jean asked, "I still don't understand why they didn't send reinforcements".

"I have a plan but it's risky" Armin pulled out a map he found in one of those containers.

He explained the plan about lowering some people down in the lift just enough to make the titans see them.

He counted the titans and saw that they were five, which led to him saying a few people will stand on top of the wood on the ceiling, once the people in the lift Shoot the titan's eyes, they'd come down and finish the job.

No one argued and they did just that, Armin and the rest were lowered, while Mikasa, Annie, Reiner, and Connie stood on the edges of the woods.

"They aren't paying attention to us," One of the cadets said.

"Hey, we are right here, come get us, hey!" Armin started yelling, the titans started to approach them.

"Don't shoot yet let them get closer", they all held their guns high aiming them at the titan's eyes waiting for them to get closer.

And when they finally did, "Fire!" Armin yelled, they shot their guns at the titan's eyes, and as soon as it happened the ones up came down to finish the business by cutting the nape of their neck clean off.

"You are one smart ass you know that" Jean played with Armin's hair.

"Nah, I'm just glad it worked," Armin noticed Mikasa looking outside, "Mi.." She took a fresh Odm gear and advanced towards Ayato's titan.

Meanwhile, Eren had managed to defeat most of the titans and was on the floor out of his titan, everyone saw Eren come out of the titan's neck unconscious.

"No freaking way! Eren is a titan" Connie's eyes were filled with confusion.

"This is not going to end well".

Mikasa went over to Ayato's titan who just stood in one spot, "Yato, can you hear me?".

The red titan opened its eyes, and it moved closer to Mikasa, but suddenly more Scouts came, "it's a titan, cadet get away from there".

Mikasa moved forward pulling out her blades, "Apologies, but you're not hurting him."

The four scouts stopped, "What is the meaning of this, are you working with a titan?"

The leader asked.

"This titan happens to be my friend, no one will lay a hand on him" The red titan suddenly gave out a loud roar before falling to the red, "Yato!" Mikasa went over to it.

The nape of the titan opened and Ayato came out unconscious, still connected to the titan.

Landing in front of him, Mikasa saw how boney and lifeless he looked, she knelt placing her ear on his chest to hear his heartbeat.

It was faint but she could still hear it, filled with happiness that her friend's alive, she hugged him as she began to tear up.
